Lovely hotel with wonderful staff, only one complaint when got back at 10.40 on the Friday night the bar had closed and we had to go out of the hotel for a drink. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

A two day stay at the front of the hotel . We stayed in room 18 which suffered from a lot of road noise especially emergency vehicle sirens. Minor defects included the toilet seat was loose and the bathroom fan defective. A £100 security deposit will be taken on arrival which took three working days to return. We did not use the bar or restaurant during our stay. A friendly enough smaller hotel costing considerably more than the nearby chains. No parking available although can be purchased from the Novotel 400 mts down the road at £40 per day.

Great location and very close to underground, train services and buses. Location in good location for pubs and restaurants. Hotel was very nice. Room and ensuite were very spacious for London. Room had aircon. House keeping made sure you had plenty of water in very hot weather. Breakfast room was airy and bright. Continental breakfast was ok but fruit was never topped up. Staff all very pleasant. Out door area very relaxing for eating and drinking, plenty of seating and shade if needed. Restaurant food very good. Overall stay was very good. Would recommend.

I was happy that the hotel has kept lots of character and feels like a period property. My room was very attractive and was clean. I also enjoyed the whisky bar with its 150 whiskies. The location is good- being between two tube stations. I couldn't apply my Hotels.com silver VIP discount however, as apparently I need to state this upfront, rather tjan when settling my bill.

Our room was very good, spacious, comfy bed and great bathroom. Loved the older building amongst very modern architecture too making it feel very unique. Restaurant and bar being refurbed so wasn’t open but several eateries nearby so not a problem.

Very unwelcome greeting when we checked in and looked up and down by the staff. Room was apparently an upgrade due to gold status so would be curious to see a downgraded room. Slept fine but have woken up covered in bites which is worrying. On the plus side bar and particularly bar service was excellent albeit very quiet. For the money I wouldn’t stay again but would happily come for lunch

The hotel seemed really nice in the shared spaces but then room itself was pretty tired-looking. The carpet was stained, the shower had zero pressure and the bed was a weird shape to suit the room.

Hotel bar looked lovely, room was comfortable and was aesthetically pleasing, however the room wasn’t exactly clean. There was stains, what I believe was blood on the lamp shade and carpet (which was badly cleaned up), stains on the wall which again looked like blood. It made me question whether the bed was properly cleaned, as I saw stains on the throw too. Not pleasant really. Concerns were flagged to reception upon checkout. One thing to also mention is the bathroom shower floor is extremely slippy.

Second time staying here this year and again it didn’t disappoint. Didn’t get as great a room as before but it was large for London and spotless apart from the carpet. The staff are lovely and the bar excellent. It is the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed in London, would highly recommend.

St Pauls was a wonderful hotel. Close to the metro station. The restaurant downstairs was great. The lift would only take you to the 2nd floor so you do have to carry you luggage up a flight of stairs if you are on the 3rd floor. The stairs into the bathroom were a bit tough if we woke up in the middle of the night! Overall, the room was a nice size and the staff was great. We would stay there again.

The hotel was good for the most part. We were put in the loft on the third floor. The elevator does not reach the loft. In addition, the ceiling is slopped so you’re constantly ducking. It was also very hot. I would not stay here again if I knew the loft wasn’t a possibility. Otherwise, the hotel was quaint and in a great location.

Given a ground floor room right by stairs and the bar, very noisy, especially when someone started playing the guitar at 10pm. Moved rooms and was perfect, but I’m not sure I’d like to take the risk again. Very nice hotel, shame about the noise

The entire experience was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure i had a great stay. The room was just right, and had the perfect mix of old and new. They were decorating for Chelristmas when i arrived, and it was beautiful, not overly done. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Comfy and the bus stop was right across the street with the train just a couple of blocks away.

It was a nice stay. I liked the hotel vibes. The room was spacious and clean (except for the carpets). Only 10 minutes walk to train station. It was a bit noisy. Both from neighbor rooms and outside. Other than that everything was good.

My operatives arrived after a 7 hours drive at 10pm at night, hotel rooms prebooked and paid for. Receptionist was very arrogant and rude! Although the operatives could show bank cards with their names on they were refused check in due to no photo ID. I am a platinum customer of hotels.com for over a decade and not once have my operatives been shown away. It took myself calling the hotel at 10pm at night to talk some sense and logic into this jobsworth who finally agreed to allow my operatives to get to their room and finally have some sleep. The over all way my staff were treated by this hotel was disgusting! Had I not still been awake these men would have been stranded at 10pm at night in London with no hotel. Disgusting!!

I booked the wrong date for my stay, but upon arrival the receptionist Nikoleta was very helpful and managed to help me sort it out. The room was in excellent condition and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy and the hotel was in the perfect location for exploring London for the first time. Will definitely be back!

Good - staff very good, food/drinks excellent. Bad - check in should have been 2pm, we couldn't check in to room till 3pm. Bath robes were stated as available in our room, no bathrobes, I asked at reception, staff said no bathrobes available.... Both of these above were reasons i booked this hotel.

The room was clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. Chris in the bar area was really easy to chat to and very helpful. The guy on reception evening time was so helpful when i couldnt get the tv to work, changing the batteries and popping up to the room to check that it worked once he had changed them. I had room service meal of fish and chips and i thought it was delicious and well worth the money (too large for me). Didnt stay for breakfast as needed to get home. Only downside was the plumbing noises all night keeping me awake like someone gargling in our room. I had to try and drown out the noise with tissue in my ears. I managed about 2 hrs sleep. I would like to stay again as handy location but would need another room to see if the issues were only a problem with our room.

I have stayed here many times, as it is a lovely hotel, in an excellent position, and it is really comfortable and inviting. However, this visit and my last were not as good as previous visits, due to one member of staff on reception. He is extremely unhelpful, has no customer service skills at all, and I’m not sure why he is even in the hotel business. Having said that, the female members of staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, and the bat/restaurant staff were absolutely brilliant. I think management need to address the situation with the male reception staff member.

Lovely hotel. Most of staff very nice and welcoming. However the lady who was on reception Saturday afternoon/evening was quite rude. When i asked for some more tiny milks the receptionist asked sternly " Why! Isnt 4 enough?" I replied "No, as i use 2 per drink as they are only small." She then glared at me before storming off and returning with cupped handful of milks which she then thrust into my hands. Never encountered that before at any hotel.

We loved this hotel! It was in a neighborhood close to both the Tube and bus line so we easily got around. The rooms are small but fully functional and contained everything needed for a great stay. The breakfast included both a continental option as well as a hot option you could order. Service was great!

St. Paul’s hotel was lovely! It was the perfect English hotel with all the modern amenities, including air conditioning in a hot summer. Totally walkable to two metro stations and within walking distance to nearby Holland Park, Chelsea, and Kensington High Street. Water, coffee, tea, espresso all in room! Quiet and next to St. Paul’s Park, which was delightful. Overall an excellent, clean, comfortable hotel with great service.

Great location for concert at Hammersmith. Room Was very clean, plenty of space, underfloor heating in spacious bathroom. Separate walk in shower. Breakfast was very good, the wait staff were absolutely brilliant. Shame whisky bar shuts at 11, so planning a return visit to sample!

Great location near to the tube and near where I was working. Safe and comfortable and a nice old building too. Didn't eat here and have stayed here before. A number of Starbucks nearby so I was happy!

In my trip to the UK we stayed 2 nights here, although I now wish I had booked for a longer stay. The location was great, close to the tube, close to many cute cafes, restaurants and pubs, and walking distance to Kensington Palace and High Park. The hotel itself was really charming, and was steeped in history being a former school and the location of the D-Day planning. The restaurant, although a bit pricy was definetly worth it, for the convenience and the quality of the food and service. Overall, it's safe to say I would definetly stay there again!

Beautiful hotel! Everything was very clean, and we had everything we could ever need in our room - fridge was stocked with bottled water; hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and even a dental kit provided! Location is walkable to the tube, and there's a bus station right outside. We enjoyed our stay.

Really lovely stay. It has a unique history and is well maintained. Very clean, nice staff and the atmosphere is fantastic. There is an extensive whiskey bar with over 900 whiskies to sample including high end ones. There is an excellent restaurant and breakfast is also an option. Our room was clean and quiet. Everything worked and the bed and pillows were soft. Location in a nice neighborhood and the Tube is about a ten minute walk. We have no hesitation about going back. One of the best place we have stayed in our travels. Cost was resonable.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff, only one complaint when got back at 10.40 on the Friday night the bar had closed and we had to go out of the hotel for a drink. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

First of all the building is beautiful. Very clean and appealing. We enjoy bourbon, so of course, we choose this hotel every time we are in London. It's a short walk from Hammersmith station, so convenient for everything on the Piccadilly line, including the airport. Bar staff super knowledgeable and friendly. I came home and tried to make the Queen Bee cocktail. It tasted nothing like they made it. Great experience and highly recommend.

Our room was very good, spacious, comfy bed and great bathroom. Loved the older building amongst very modern architecture too making it feel very unique. Restaurant and bar being refurbed so wasn’t open but several eateries nearby so not a problem.

Only downside was breakfast, staff appeared quite stressed and the continental buffet was lacking most things, fruit option down to a plum or satsuma, no marmalade or bread on the self service area, had to ask, toast was white bread only and coffee was luke warm… didn’t wish to hassle the already stressed staff and others were asking anyway. Overall would stay again, back in the area in a few weeks, but maybe order the hot breakfast instead 🤔

Very disappointed with the breakfast on the first morning, staff did not seem interested in serving or asking us if we wanted some toast or a cooked breakfast, ran out of croissants and were told it would take 20min for some more, walked out in the end, won’t be coming back unfortunately.

The hotel was generally nice and the staff was friendly. The window on our room could not close fully which gave a lot of noise. The breakfast was a little disappointment, there were only croissants, not even any bread. You could buy a proper breakfast but than you had to pay extra on top of the continental breakfast. This was not really nice and not continental breakfast worthy. Apart from those points we had a nice stay, i would go there again but then with breakfast at another place.
