The hotel is in the middle of a mega shopping area. So if you want a place that is safe and convenient as far as traveling to and from then the palms is a great option.

I have stayed here when i visit miami every year for at least 5 years. But most likely i will any longer. The breakast used to be good, this time it was horrible. And they cut litchen staff from 3 to 1. Also, the pool furniture used to be nice, tables, chairs, easy to sit with friends and new friends. Now, they have just the separate chairs and uncomfortable lounge chairs

It has pretty grounds and entrance is very nice. The rooms are fine little small but works. The bathroom is my biggest issue the water pressure was very sad you have to turn the water on just right to get the hot water to not be scalding but just right to not be cold. No plugs for phones by the bed which is weird. Has a big fridge in the room which is nice. The only other annoyance was the fact that there is only 1 elevator. For a 4 story hotel. Breakfast is decent though. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The $200 deposit blows my mind because I can’t for the life of me figure out why on earth they would need that as there isn’t a little convenience type place in there to buy anything so it seems outrageous for a deposit. The bed is felt fine just feels janky getting up it makes weird sounds. Blackout curtains are old need to be replaced but still work. The grounds and nearby shops and restaurants are great to be near and feels quieter than Miami proper which I liked

Staff was great but we had an ant problem in the room. They were everywhere. The place is clean but smells a little musky. And breakfast was not great. We ended up eating out for breakfast every day. All in all not too bad.

i stayed overnight for Business. The Suite (King Studio) was spacious however the bedroom apparent had what sounded like a hot water heater situated right next to the closet (see photo) and by the Bed which would periodically run intermittently waking me up often throughout the night. This was a poor design flaw so I had to deduct a star. Otherwise, the room and property itself was well kept with free continanteal breakfast.

Small hotel, clean, good staff. Breakfast is very limited but sufficient. Unfortunately is very noisy inside, room a/c's are never quiet, but the other noises I could not identify, sounded like elevators or motors, refrigerators, water running on pipes.....If you are a lite sleeper bring earplugs.

We were here on our way to the keys and it was a great stop! Our room was really big with a living room area as well as a bedroom with a T.V. In both rooms. It was clean with a fridge and a microwave. The folks at the front desk were great and check in was fast. A nice breakfast and breakfast area.

This hotel was fine for a stay. We didnt like how small and dayed the room was. It wasn't super clean and was dusty. The whole hotel looks dated. Only 2 outlets were working in our room. The iron didn’t work, but they replaced it. The area is great though. Lots of shopping and dining choices.

We have stayed here several times and we will continue to do so every time we come to Miami. The hotel is centrally located close to expressway, shopping center and restaurants in the Kendall area, the closeness to the expressway makes it a breeze to drive to Coral Gables, Miami Beach and surrounding areas. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful which makes our stay even more pleasant.

Greeted very well. Lazaro was ABSOLUTELY 💯 AWESOME!!! BEEN STAYING AT THE HOLIDAY INN DORAL. TERRIBLE NOT FRIENDLY OR HELPFULL AT ALL. THEY CHARGED ME 2 IN THE SAME DAY.BUT LAZARO WAS AN ANGEL. Juan Vazquez was absolutely excellent from beginning of check in to the end. Very pleasant, kind, great warmth. He delivered customer service at max and changed my room in which toilet clogged, to a different one without questions.

I stayed without showering for two days. Front desk informed me that it is against policy to provide a shower chair for me. I'm in a wheelchair and have a service animal for seizures. I have traveled the world and have never heard of a policy like there's. The last day. I was there they did provide me with a shower chair. But by then I was ready to go.

This hotel was centrally located. It is next to a shopping plaza, that you can walk to from the hotel, that offers everything and anything you need. From a grocery store, to night life, to ice cream, or shopping. It is all there just 100 steps away. The area is secure. Breakfast was deli meat and hard boiled eggs but when you're in miami, you want to go out to eat.

The hotel was a great place to stay it’s right next to a large shopping center which is super convenient. There are places to eat nearby. The area was clean and well maintained and the rooms were always clean and tidy. Overall great place to stay!

The room was not super clean, and the condition of it was pretty run down. The shower/bathtub was cracking and peeling. Kinda gross. Also, the water pressure was extremely low and the water never got very hot. Imagine taking a long, slow, cold shower every morning... The included breakfast was decent enough to get the job done, though, so that was nice.

I can’t understand why Expedia would rate this hotel 8.8 and excellent. This hotel needs to be a 7 max. It’s very old, the entire hotel smells like cigarettes, the rooms have really old tvs, the bathrooms are old, dirt comes out thru the cracks of the walls. The elevator takes for ever to go up and down floors. Continetal breakfast has very little options. Very disappointed

Overall, this hotel offers good value for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you might need: a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. The breakfast is quite basic and repetitive – it usually alternates between scrambled eggs with diced ham and boiled eggs with ham. Other than that, there’s toast, bagels, cream cheese, jam, two types of cereal, coffee, and juice. The pool area is also decent and clean.
