The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel is secure and we felt safe. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The only surprise we had is that there is no onsite parking, you have to pay extra to park in the ramp across the street.

This hotel is very nice for Hampton Inn. It’s worth the price for the convenience & location. You have access to the skywalk from the hotel and the Parking ramp. TARGET CENTER is 3 blocks away. The rooms are clean and spacious, nice bathrooms. If your looking for location for say a concert or baseball game or anything in the area this is your hotel. It is downtown Minneapolis so there are some rough spots but the hotel is safe so you need a key card to access anything regarding the hotel door wise. That’s what makes it super safe if you don’t got one you can’t get in.

If you enjoy checking into a hotel room that looks like it skipped cleaning day (and maybe the whole week), this is your place. I walked into the Hampton inn downtown Minneapolis to find my room in an unsanitary state — just the kind of “welcome” every traveler dreams of. When I called the front desk, I wasn’t offered a room change. Later, I was told I had been — funny, I must have missed that magical offer. Even better, the front desk staff insisted I was “already talking to the manager.” Newsflash: I wasn’t. Apparently, honesty checks out right along with housekeeping at this property. Rather than fix the problem, the hotel told me to deal with Expedia. Translation: “Not our problem.” The issue was never about changing rooms — it was about being checked into a dirty one in the first place, and then being lied to when I asked for help. For the nightly rate, you’d think you’re paying for cleanliness and basic customer service. Instead, you get excuses and a front desk comedy routine. If that’s your idea of hospitality, enjoy. If not, I’d look anywhere else.

I had to ask repeatedly for our room to be cleaned. I had to ask repeatedly for clean towels. We called the front desk 3 times because of a very noise person on the floor above us at 2:30 am and I don’t think anything was ever done about it. The front desk clerk was very rude. The bed was just awful with a dip and appeared to be very old. I will NOT stay at a Hampton Inn again. Very disappointing

It was in a convenient area, used the skywalks a lot. Felt very safe inside the hotel. It was surprisingly quiet as well. The only issue I had was one of the bedsheets was stained, but that wasn’t a huge deal. Other than that, everything was amazing and I would definitely stay again.

Property was nice but we were not made aware that a rooftop bar nearby had a permit to play music until 2am on weekends. Our young children and ourselves were not able to sleep hardly at all. Management offered us ear plugs but no other resolution.

Beds were very squishy and could hear the springs anytime you moved or turned over. Could hear other people in their rooms so not the most quiet but thankfully it was ok in the middle of the night. Staff were so sweet and helpful and gave great recommendations! Parking was easy and the map the staff gave was helpful.

The front desk people were so accommodating that I won’t be staying at any other hotel for my trips here to the city. I wasn’t sure how long I was staying and they let me keep the same room the whole week even though I extended every morning before checkout. The front desk deserves a raise here.

The breakfast and all day coffee and breakfast area was great. When you spend money and stay 4 nights your room should get attended to more than once and when asked for it to be done, I was told yes and then nothing was done.

Kelly at front desk was very friendly and pleasant when checked in as well as every time we saw her. Recognized us and greeted us every time we came back in the evening. Made the stay feel like home! Location very good. Will recommend to anyone we hear is coming to MSP.

I felt like I had to conceive the front desk person to be nice to me. It was really weird…I had called the day before to ask about early check in and a woman answered and was super helpful and told me to call back the next day, which was the day we were checking in. I called the next day and spoke to someone who before I could even get the question out said I could check in at noon and then hung up on me. SUPER WEIRD. When we got there I said I was there to check in, and I’m assuming it was the same person I talked to on the phone literally 45 minutes before that and he said, “check in isn’t until 3.” Then I said that I had called and he checked me in. I spent the next 3 minutes trying figure out why this person hated me. But, there was a super nice woman in a collard shirt that seemed to enjoy being there and greeting guests. After being out of the room all day, we got back and I noticed there was no shower curtain. I called to the front and a very nice woman brought me a shower curtain… but it definitely was super weird that there wasn’t one. All and all, it was just weird. The check in guy kinda killed it for me, I’m not going to lie. He hates his job for real.

This place is amazing!! Truly, it’s the staff who make it great. Dre checked us in and made sure we got set up with everything we needed. Was so kind and helpful too with all our dumb questions. When checking out, Ebony made sure we were hooked up fast and got exactly what we needed to get smoothly to our next destination. Aside from the first class treatment, the place is comfortable, clean, roomy, and close to the fun! I hate telling you this because I’d love to keep it a secret but they’re fantastic!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, right next to the target stadium, and close to a metro station, bars close too. The only issue is there are a lot of homeless outside but police is also always there so might want to be careful walking in that area.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to US Bank Stadium ( about a mile walking distance) but unfamiliar with the warehouse district area. First impressions of the neighborhood were fine - close to restaurants and the light rail service. The Target Center is across the street. However after the first few hours I was a little shocked by the number of unhoused people that were settled in right outside the hotels entrance. Not only that the hotel is located on the corner of a busy intersection that is very noisy at all hours of the night. On the positive side check in was quick and the room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was fine and there were plenty of options.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Amazing customer service, rooms were very clean, parking was so convenient and inexpensive. Quick and easy access to Target Centre, only a 3-5 minute walk through the skywalk. Only thing to comment was that the complimentary breakfast was the exact same, didn’t change at all during our stay. Would’ve been nice to have a couple different options on consecutive days. Also, gym was very small, not very much equipment to work with. Other than that, I would most definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again.

Location was excellant, friendly and helpful staff, room requests were met. Only negatives were parking price when there is an event on (pretty much every night) and breakfast which was more like a chain motel than a downtown high end hotel (surely they can do better than waffle machines and polystyrene/plastic plates, silverware etc.).
