We had a great one night stay while passing through Tuscaloosa. The staff was so friendly and the room was great. We have three young children and they really enjoyed the kid area in the lobby. The pool was great and there were plenty of options at breakfast.

Staff was very friendly, the only issyue i had was that you had to walk around the outside of the building to get to the pool due to the gate door being broken closest to the gym. Other then that the room was very spacious and nice. The beds were more on the firm side which was ok but i would've prefered a softer bed. The breakfast was good especially the biscuits and gravy. Definitely plan on staying here next time im in town.

The gentlemen working the front desk was super friendly and so welcoming. They have fresh baked cookies for you…. And fresh popped popcorn. The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very firm and pillows very soft, but that’s just personal preference. It wouldn’t stop me from staying again at all. Just something worth knowing if that matters to you. Offering extended hours on weekends for the pool would be something they should consider. Overall would stay again no question.

This little hotel was very clean and the service was great. We enjoyed the complimentary cookies and popcorn. The full breakfast was a nice surprise and the pool was clean and well maintained. Couldn’t have asked for a better stop on our long road trip.

I will not stay at this property again. My trash was not taken from my room and there were no clean towels for my second night. On the second night I changed rooms and woke up with insect bites on my neck, forehead, and arms. From all of my research, they looked like bedbugs bites. Clerk was rude and condescending. The manager was very nice.

The carpets appear to be dirty or in need of replacement. The carpets had stains and were frayed in some places. The sheets on the bed were so wrinkled they looked like someone may have run out of clean sheets and got a pair of previously used sheets from a hamper and put them on the bed. I felt dirty from the moment I walked into the lobby and looked down the ground level hallway and breakfast area. I was astonished that this property bore the Marriott label.

We loved how clean it was and it smelled very clean. We didn’t like that there was no vent in the bathroom nor was there a trash can in the bathroom. The shower was very slippery, no grips or bath mat in tub. We also didn’t like that we were there for three nights and housekeeping didn’t come in once. We had to ask for more towels and toilet paper and our trash piled up. But again, it was clean, breakfast was good, overall we enjoyed our stay. Just a few things would of made it even better. Thank you!

The layout of the room in regards to the bathroom location was terrible. The bathroom was located at the foot of the bed. The door was frosted glass. Whenever anyone went into the bathroom at night, the entire bedroom lit up. While taking a shower, the body wash container was completely empty…too late to call for any once you’re in the shower.

Property is right on highway and we asked for room not facing it and the reception staff who was in the back on his phone said yes your room faces parking lot. No it didn’t :truck noise all night. Otherwise hotel is clean. Not crazy about room layout as the bathroom is in middle of room and a window sliding door so it’s bright if you turn on light while another is sleeping. I think this is typical for SpringHill suites.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and checked in. We got a 2 queen bed suite. It was very spacious. The trundle bed was very comfortable. Way better then a pullout couch. And you can take the back cushions off the couch to turn that into a twin size bed as well. The queen size beds were a little uncomfortable but thats only because we like softer mattresses. It was just a little too firm but not as firm as other places I've stayed. If you like a firm mattress, then your in luck. The breakfast was a hot and fresh. It was a little different as they had biscuits and sausage gravy, and plain oatmeal already cooked with different types of ingredients to make it however you like. For instance brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, nuts, chocolate chips, cranberries, and a few others. As well as waffles, bagels, bread and the other usual breakfast items hotels have. The coffee was actually better then any other hotel I've stayed at. Overall it was a great experience.

The property was clean and the room was spacious. The layout of the room didn't make sense. The TV was almost unusable from the far bed. A few things that need improvement: a lock on the bathroom door, a hair dryer with a working on/off switch, a vent in the bathroom, and softer mattresses. The mattresses were too firm and no one slept well on them. All that being said, the staff was amazing and overall the visit was great.

Best check in I think I have ever had. Super friendly and I don’t know that I have ever felt more welcomed checking in at a hotel. Absolutely charming. Room spacious and perfectly clean. No complaints. We will definitely stay again any time we are driving thru this area again.

This property had friendly staff and an inviting environment. We arrived on a Friday evening and they had popcorn and hot snacks, with sodas. On Saturday they didn’t, so I am unsure why. Yet, for whatever reason, it was a welcome treat after traveling for 12 hours. Will stay here again.

I’m meeting my family in Birmingham today. I got on the road earlier than them so I stayed the night here. Everything is great. Love the hot breakfast and the staff were very personable. I couldn’t get a couple of plugs in the room to work. Maybe I should have turned on a switch?
