This is my 2nd time staying at a Hyatt House and it never disappoints. The hotel and room was nice and clean. They have continental food. The pool was warm. It is very close to Delta Center and parking garage is $24 for one night stay.

The size was great; plenty of room. Beds were good enough. Pullout couch was NOT. All the electric rolling blinders didn’t work and it couldn’t have been controlled manually. There was no fan in the bathroom. Ice machine is every other floor. It was an ok stay. Parking was TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS per night.

Place was fine, good location, ample parking. Breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast that you can survive on but not what you want to eat every morning. Bed was comfortable. In general, the hotel was a little worn down, obvious lack of maintenance. Microwave was broken so had a cheap temporary one in its place, toilet paper holder was broken, outlets were the cheapest you can buy and half did not work, several broken. Pool area was seldom cleaned, bugs and leaves in the water. Little things in and of themselves, but added together formed a whole that was less than what I expected from Hyatt.

Motorized Blackout blinds were stuck half way down. Main elevator (closest to check-counter) had label on main floor that elevation was not working (12/12/24). That sign was not posted the night of 12/11/24 when we went to room. In the morning we were unaware that the elevator was not working. Signs should be posted on all floors!! We had luggage or would have went down the stairs. Luckily House Keeping was right there and told use about the north elevator.

There was a horrible sewage stench. I went to the desk to ask what could be done. She just said it’s a sewer problem. She said maintenance would come, ( this was at 9:05 pm) well, maintenance came and said they would be right back. We never saw maintenance again.

Overall a very nice stay. The breakfast was quite nice, waffles, bacon, hash browns, real scrambled eggs, bagels, etc.. The variety was good but the food quality overall wasn't anything spectacular, I'd give breakfast 7/10. My main issue was lack of air flow in the bathroom and inability to open any windows in the room. Traveling with a family this becomes an issue. Beds were great, TV was ok, sinks did not drain easily, almost instant backup of drainage. Shower drained ok. We were greeted in a very friendly manner when checking in at 10pm on a Monday.

Great place with kitchen and nice outdoor pool. The only reason i took one point from the review is they don’t have room cleaning every day, which in itself is no problem but we did ask for the garbage to be picked up since we are traveling with a baby and diapers were in the garbage. We asked twice and were told no problem they will send somebody but nobody came and when we called again we were told cleaning is done every other day but were not provided with a solution. If no cleaning is done a garbage disposal area should be provided. Other than this small inconvenience, the complimentary breakfast was really nice, the pool area perfect for the kids and the kitchen in the room was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The room was nice, pretty clean. It was supposed to come equipped with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. It did for the most part but there were only 2 forks, 3 spoons, and 4 knives. 3 large plates, 4 bowls and 2 small plates. Very inconsistent and it made eating meals for our party of 3 difficult. Parking is $20 a night which I am happy to pay for guaranteed parking but 2 of the 3 nights we were there, there was a Jazz game and parking was scarce. It was frustrating to not know if we would have parking. When we got back from an event on Friday, the hotel receptionist was on FaceTime with her boyfriend and hardly looked up until I asked if she would please take a picture of our family. She seemed annoyed at the request and took one photo from a not great angle. The next evening I called down and asked if we could have housekeeping come up to our room and I got a frustrated response asking if we wanted full service or what? I simply said we would just like some fresh linens on the bed and some clean towels. Then I was asked if I wanted the housekeepers to make the bed… Yes, I did but I said if they weren’t able to just leave the sheets and I would change them myself. When we arrived back in our room we had clean towels, the sheets had not been changed nor were there clean sheets in our room for me to change myself. I understand that housekeeping is on request only but we requested it, got attitude that we needed it.

Property is beautiful, well kept and convenient to many eating options . My only gripe is housekeeping did not clean our room for the two days we were there , refresh the towels and we asked for a blanket and was told it was on its way up . It never arrived , the next day I had to go to the front desk and request it and pick it up myself .

Smelt really bad in the lobby and in the hallways outside the rooms. Almost like sewage. You have to pay close to $25 for parking a night. Yes it’s in and close to things but it’s not a pleasant location. Nothing to write home open this one. There’s better at the same price.

This hotel l wasnt impresssed with.Never changed the sheets. Long hair pieces found in shower. Asked the receptionist for new towels and bedlinen which they never came at all. Also the fan in the shower did not work at all I really want a return as l am not impressed and very disappointed and will not be booking this hotel ever again my room number was #430.

Everything was wonderful. Room was comfortable. Only drawback was hallway was a little loud around 10:00 to 12:00 am. Also could hear a low mechanical sound through the wall. Noise was just loud enough to catch our attention.

Arrived late and wanted to go straight to bed but unfortunately the electric blind didn’t work. Staff tried to assist but blind detached and fell down. Had no other rooms to move to. Very disappointed. Was told the manager would get in touch but never heard anything. Poor.

Yeah. I love how they charge me an extra $100 for parking. I had the king suite and I honestly didn’t feel like I got a goodnight sleep. It felt like there was a crevasse in my bed from some very large people. Didn’t care too much for the bed and pillows.

Our stay in the room we booked was great. Validated parking garage was excellent. Complementary breakfast was good. A few small issues but no deal breakers. Both outlets on the lamp next to the bed were broken. 😕 Window shades in the bedroom and kitchen were not functioning.🙁

Weekend getaway 3 night stay. Excellent location, within walking distance to major landmarks, convention center, shopping malls, sports arena, etc. 2 blocks from arena station to hop onto free blue or green lines. We reserved a king den, came with living room and kitchen, such a bonus.

The room was lovely. It was so nice to have so much space for a family of 4. I love the full kitchen with everything provided to make a meal without having to go anywhere. The living room area was very spacious and had beautiful views out the window. We were disappointed as None of the electric blinds worked throughout the entire room and common areas. We had to have maintenance come in to open, then close and then reopen. The bedroom and bathroom were also very roomy and the beds nice and comfy! The family and I really appreciated the breakfast as there were a variety of choices to accommodate everyone. Also I always love to see the lobby with all sorts of essentials and food to choose from if you ever forget anything or find yourself hungry. They also have a little bar with some food items to order but we never utilized this service. Utah has some interesting laws when it comes to buying an alcoholic beverage, You always have to purchase a food item with any alcoholic beverages. So bizarre! Nice area and all around lovely hotel.

The 24 hour concierge was great since my flight got delayed and I arrived at 3 am. Staff was kind and accommodating when I requested a late checkout with short notice. (Flight issues) They also offered to hold my luggage for as long as needed until it was time to go to the airport. The location was two blocks from the TRAX station and within walking distance of museums, event centers and restaurants. I’d 100% recommend the Hyatt House Downtown SLC.

Property is beautiful, well kept and convenient to many eating options . My only gripe is housekeeping did not clean our room for the two days we were there , refresh the towels and we asked for a blanket and was told it was on its way up . It never arrived , the next day I had to go to the front desk and request it and pick it up myself .

I booked a room with two queen beds and one sofa bed. Upon arrival two queen beds were ready to go with the sofa bed still folded up as a sofa. I opened the sofa bed to find no pillows and blankets or appropriate sheets. I headed down for dinner and spoke with the front deck and was told house keeping would take care of the bed issue. After I returned from dinner I found a couple of pillows and some sheets and a blanket stacked in a pile on the bed. I proceeded to try and make the bed. Sheets and blanket did not fit. Had to make the best of it. In the morning I contacted front desk and explained the problem. When I returned that afternoon I found the bed made up somewhat with a blanket that didn’t fit. I was the only one using the bed and made the best of it. I also had a problem with blinds in the unit. None of them worked as designed with wall buttons. They would not work. Repairman came up with an electrical remote device to open blinds a bit. Other than those problems everything else worked. I would say that house keeping is not up to standard. Did not replace used coffee or clean a slightly used kitchen.

My kids and I stayed at the Hyatt House downtown to be very close to the Delta center for an NBA game we were attending. It was so convenient because we were just a block away from the stadium. We did not need a car because we were within walking distance of many of the highlights like Temple Square and the mall and a movie theater and a park — all the places that I wanted to take the kids anyway. The hotel was nice, comfortable, clean and they even offered appetizers at night all the way up until 10 PM. It was super convenient to have the big buffet breakfast, and we love the variety and the freshness of it. Hotel staff was great as we were able to check in early ( around noon ) to our room on the day we arrived; and on the day we left, they gladly watched all our bags because we had an evening flight. I would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Salt Lake City.

Weekend getaway 3 night stay. Excellent location, within walking distance to major landmarks, convention center, shopping malls, sports arena, etc. 2 blocks from arena station to hop onto free blue or green lines. We reserved a king den, came with living room and kitchen, such a bonus.

We had tickets to the Utah hockey game at the Delta Centre which is literally a 1 minute walk away! Parking was easy! The hotel was exceptionally comfortable in every way! We loved staying here !

Overall a very nice stay. The breakfast was quite nice, waffles, bacon, hash browns, real scrambled eggs, bagels, etc.. The variety was good but the food quality overall wasn't anything spectacular, I'd give breakfast 7/10. My main issue was lack of air flow in the bathroom and inability to open any windows in the room. Traveling with a family this becomes an issue. Beds were great, TV was ok, sinks did not drain easily, almost instant backup of drainage. Shower drained ok. We were greeted in a very friendly manner when checking in at 10pm on a Monday.

I didn't catch it at the time of my reservation, but I think it's an extended stay type place. Regardless it was wonderful. Staff was awesome - room was spotless - safe and great night's stay! What I would say - fair warn: 1) parking. If you park in the garage -IGNORE the signage that screams 'PAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE'. Not sure how it works but go to the front desk - they'll help you through it. I obeyed the garage signage and paid $38 instead of the hotel rate of $24. 2) The bar and restaurant are limited service. Nothing wrong with that but just be aware, you're not going to get a sit down, linen napkin, steak knife meal. Again, ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong, just letting you know I would 100% stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! Staff was friendly and attentive when we needed them. The only downside was that there was no longer a restaurant/bar in the hotel as advertised but all of the signage was still up. There was a yummy bar and grill next door but part of the reason we chose this location was to have a beverage after the long drive without going out. They need to update their advertising.

The hotel rooms are spacious, airy and well air conditioned. Everything was clean and tidy. Service was friendly though the bar and eating area were soulless and usually deserted, so I didn’t hang around them. Breakfast was included… with a little effort it could have been good, but it was at best only serviceable… limited and a rather dull. All in all, though, this was a handy and good value location.

I thought the hotel was nicely located downtown The surrounding area except for the street construction look clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. On the negative side I thought the free breakfast was much to be desired, eggs were cold, waffles were like wet newspaper, and hash browns were frequently overly crisp where you needed a knife to cut them. The most distressing thing about this hotel is the poor quality of the workmanship. There was insufficient insulation between the walls and the ceilings and you could hear people's conversations which kept me up. They were some partying going on with no regard to other residents this often happened two three four o'clock in the morning, what is going on? I also didn't care for the open policy with dogs people brought them into the breakfast area and I mean it was just a little erratic at times. And I love dogs. And all my days of travel this had to be my most unpleasurable experience and I wouldn't stay at this hotel for free. I know that sounds harsh but my sleep means everything to me
