Property is overall decent, but the cost of valet parking at $70 per night is for the birds. Lost my business forever.

The parking situation was confusing

The valet parking rate is pretty ridiculous. 60 for the night. There is a public parking garage right next door to the hotel that only charged us $7 for 24 hour parking. Other than that. The hotel was great. The front desk employee was very nice (last name was hall i think he said) and upgraded us to a slightly larger room with a view without us even asking just for being a rewards member. Downtown life was close enough to walk. Overall would stay again

My family and I only stayed for the night but the staff was friendly and informative. It had nice pool and a clean gym. The only thing we had a bit of an issue with was the parking. The hotel only offered valet parking. There is public parking next to the hotel but we had to pay anytime we needed to drive somewhere.

Overall 8/10 Price doesn’t match the stay. Too much for what it was. I paid 388$ felt like it was worth 280$ The restaurant in the hotel was lovely The pool was nice and the view was good In the middle of downtown Lots of homeless people (as one should expect of booking right in the middle of downtown of a big city) The valet however was inconvenient,, I own a C7 Corvette Z51 and they wouldn’t valet the car, to “luxurious” for them to risk damaging it -_- So if u own a higher end car that’s $55,000 or more don’t expect them to service you. Self Parking cost 20-35 every 24hrs (cheaper than valet ofc) and it’s still a good location,, right next to hotel. The A/C was weird,, wasn’t cooling during the night, it was staying at a solid 70 degrees I prefer 60 degrees Called maintence and they fixed it within 20 mins :) Stayed acting up tho, it’s like it would start to go down a single degree every hour because we would fall asleep around 11 with it at 70degrres and we would wake up in the middle of the night around 3 freezing with it being at 65 degrees and in the morning around 8am it would be at 60degrees. Overall a 8/10 stay I enjoyed my stay and my time in the city but I’ll be choosing a diffrent hotel next time for sure. This one is too pricy for what it offers. The staff however are amazing, 10/10 staff there for sure. Even the valet, they didn’t service me but they were polite and did help me find other parking options.

The hotel itself was very nice. Great location for drinks and dinner options. Pool was great and loved it was on a rooftop. Front desk staff could use some improvements. I called down and was asked to hold and waited 10 min before hanging up. Didn’t feel like calling again to be ignored. But if you don’t need staff for anything it’s great.

Great staycation. Pool day, sun is shaded after 4pm, food walking distance, bar in hotel. Great place.

The hotel was good, convenient and employees were helpful. There is a $45 per night charge for valet parking that I did not love. Not sure where else we would have parked, so we had to pay almost $200 for parking.

Hotel is a little outdated. Can use a deep cleaning and update. Lobby and elevator floors were pretty dirty. Seen multiple roaches in the Lobby and a unknown bug climbing on the bed. Two free bottles of water a day was given. Snacks in lobby were over price $4 for a reeces

The hotel is older so you can see some wear and tear. I spent most of my time out and about. When I wanted to make coffee a roach came out of the machine.

The staff was ok. The cleanliness of our room was the issue. We found multiple tiny bugs in our bed.

Found a crack pipe in the closet!!!! Not enough towels, pool was not clean. Terrible quality hand soap in bathroom, room service didn’t come by regularly. Talked to people at the pool who were not even hotel guest.

There was a roach in my room. I saw it twice and had to lill it myself. There was also trash leftover from a prior guest behind the dresser. Finally, the cleaning staff kept knocking on my door hours before my departure time to see if I had left.

The rooms are old, dirty carpet and there was a peanut on the floor under the table when I checked and and it was still there when I checked. The housekeeper never vacuumed or looked under the table. The hotel smelled like a back up toilet. Not sure if that is good for guest and employees lungs. Just need an over haul. I’m so surprised bc Hilton Gardens is usually nice and clean.

Of course an opinion is based on your own subjective standards. In my experience with hotel stays I expected more from this highly rated hotel. For the most part I try to read the reviews and base my decision on that and it’s location. In this case my room was dirty, old and had a nasty smell to it. Walls were old, breaking pcs. and dirty. Upon comparison from other nearby hotels I was open to paying 100 dlls more so that we could have a nice view from the hotel and that was also very disappointing. I did not notify the front desk due to us being exhausted from the trip itself. However I did take photos of Dirty walls etc.

There were stains on the walls and in the bathroom, along with some crackers left behind. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they were very friendly and assured me it would be taken care of, but it wasn’t. We’ve stayed at this hotel for the past three years during football season, but the lack of cleanliness in the room and surrounding areas will have us looking for a different place next year.

Room was freezing so the compressor wasn’t working and the guy who had to come up and fix it after 10 pm couldn’t speak English but used his phone to translate. A roach was crawling over my comforter on my bed and the toilet seat broke. i will not stay here again ! They offered no refund or discount.

The smell is so bad here and the overall ambience of the hotel is dead and you could here the noise and sound from the others room

Room needs an update.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Beds were amazing. The A/C was a central unit, not a noisy window unit…kept the climate consistent throughout the room. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Location was good, too. We walked to many places we wanted to visit. Looking forward to staying there again.

We arrived and were slightly confused by the parking situation lol. There was a public lot but I thought “off the street parking” would be included. It wasn’t, it was a pay by the hr/day lot. However my car was safe and the lot was very clean and well lit. We arrived about 9 pm so it was dark. It was located next to our hotel, literally feet from the car to the hotel. When we arrived at the front desk they were so helpful. We went to our room which was spacious and very clean. I have zero complaints about our stay at the hotel!

Nice hotel, all the amenities were there, 2 negatives, WIFI was extremely slow and thw water pressure was non existant.

I stayed here mainly for work. Internet is really bad. I complain and the service was not improved.

Clean room and staff was great. Downside our a/c was not cooling the room so they brought 2 fans because they’re wasn’t any other room available and complimented the night. I would go back

The Elm Street crowd was a bit loud...

The property seemed very aged. The bathroom sink faucet hardly had very much water pressure and i was hitting my hands against the side of the sink because the faucet was too small. The toilet could barely flush. The walls seemed thin so you could here neighbors in their rooms. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were super flat and appeared stained. Also rhe carpet appeared very old.

Front desk staff was amazing all of them from check in hours to late night hours. They’re all cool and laid back

Loved my stay here! I was only there one night, but front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, and the location could NOT have been better for my needs (downtown conference.) Hotel was well maintained, my room was great, bed was comfortable. Would totally go back here!

The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all. The second room we got had a side table with a round marble top which was not secured. The marble top fell on my foot and gashed it open. They comped a fourth of my dining after much back and forth. The manager was so rude and would not answer the simplest questions. I always stay at Hilton and am a rewards member but after this experience I will not go back.

The room's bedding is weak and thin. Terrible thin pillows, no structure. The biggest beef I have is with the valet. I, amongst many others, waited 40 minutes and never got my car. I ended up having to walk to my meeting instead. I text for my car, no response "try again later", text again in 10 minutes, nothing. The one person who was supposed to be getting cars I saw one time in 40 minutes. What?! What was he doing? He was on his phone a bunch when I saw him and ignoring his station and people. He actually left his phone in one of the cars he delivered, the only one he got for someone in this time period. Spoke to the front desk twice and nobody jumped in to help. No action. I don't want your discount on valet, I want my car in a reasonable time and everyone was upset about it.

We pulled up to vallet no crazy line. They had a room ready for us and the rest of the stay was just as easy. Great job to those serving breakfast each morning. Only area of improvement was speed at getting drinks on the patio the 1st night. It just seemed off since everything else was fantastic. Will stay here again for sure.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. We had to change rooms because the air wasn't working properly, and they were very nice and helpful.

I recommend that Hotels.com clearly inform guests in advance that there is no self-parking available at this property, and that valet parking is the only option at a rate of $57.00 per night. Additionally, it should be noted that the hotel requires a $350.00 security deposit upon check-in. During my stay, I was recovering from a foot injury, which made accessibility and service particularly important to me. Unfortunately, my arrival experience was stressful. The valet attendant approached me only to dismiss me without first confirming whether I was a guest. As a result, I had to limp inside the hotel on my own to find him again, only to see him on the phone. Overall, I believe that many of the staff members would benefit from additional customer service training. However, I want to recognize one employee who made a positive difference during my stay—Datae. He was exceptionally courteous and helpful, and his professionalism stood out. I truly believe he deserves recognition, possibly even a raise, and would be an excellent candidate to help train other staff members in customer service best practices.

The only reason I’m giving one star, at all, is because one employee (David) DID make an effort to improve my stay and I appreciate that. It unfortunately did not make up for how terrible my experience was. I was greeted INCREDIBLY COLDLY by an awful girl with long brown hair (can’t remember her name) who has zero qualities to be the face of the hotel…unless the idea is to preface how awful your stay will be. I was, quite literally, woken up to a cockroach crawling across my hand IN THE HOTEL BED. When I was moved to a different room on a different floor, there was ANOTHER cockroach saying hello to me on the bathroom floor in the morning. The air conditioning is controlled by motion sensors. Meaning, if you are not actively moving every ten minutes in the bedroom, the AC shuts off. You can imagine how AWFUL this was on a 102 degree day in Dallas and trying to sleep through the night having to wake up in the night to continuously flail my arms around. I ordered a Texas Chili and Cornbread to my room, but they do not provide room service…so I had to get dressed and take my toddler downstairs to pick it up. Not the worst thing in the world…except they completely left out the cornbread (you know, half of the title) and I was honestly so fed up and exhausted at that point, I just threw everything away. The valet area as a whole needs serious improvement…it takes at least 10 minutes to drop off your car and between 10-20 to retrieve it. Out of characters, stay elsewhere.

If possible, we wanted to check in early because our plan got in early. Got charged $50 extra dollars for checking in early when there were plenty of rooms available.

Not sure where the issue was, but the property did not have my reservation and had to chat with Expedia and it took an extra 30-40min to check in because of this

Very close to Akard DART station which the Orange line takes you right at DFW airport for $3.

Great location. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Light rail station very close to hotel.

It was great! Conveniently located to everything. Close enough we could walk to the American Airlines Center to see Bruce Springsteen!

Close to Farmers Market. Valets were helpful and patient. Front desk staff, helpful and friendly. The room was clean, large space. Quiet environment. The mass tran train stop is near by. However this is downtown and the homeless can be close around or on the trains. We didn’t have any encounters though. The towels were scarce and could only have one bath or face wash one time. Never felt threatened or afraid there.

Room was spacious and quiet. The convivial wait staff was unexpected and appreciated. Centrally located in Dallas the Hilton was within proximity of the places I visted.

Breakfast was great and just what we needed. quiet hotel except when someone tried to open our door after 11. They went away without incident.

This hotel was very nice! Breakfast boucher is worth it as the restaurant downstairs was very good. Walking distance to my event, and dining/shopping. Had a great time

Everything was great. Only reasons I didn’t give it an excellent overall was the food in the restaurant was not great for the price charged and the parking was way to expensive. 45.00 for overnight parking is ridiculous.

A lovely hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff for dinner were absolutely miserable and even worse the following morning for breakfast. We decided not to use the restaurant again

The hotel bar/restaurant was amazing. Bartenders were top notch. Great way to end the day. Construction and noise from construction outside were drawbacks, but uncontrollable by the hotel. All in all would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Dallas

I liked the convenience to our concert but was disappointed at the bar/restaurant staff. They could not be bothered. Check in staff was great. This spot is a little odd because part of building is permanet resident's so itkind of doesnt feel like a true hotel

The restaurant inside the hotel was horrible! It took 45 minutes just for me to get my drinks and there were only 3 people on the restaurant. The rooms are so basic for the price .

The only issue was that the on-site restaurant was not open during lunch time, so I had to go off-site to eat.
