The first room we were assigned had multiple damaged bits— dinged up corners, nonfunctioning lights. We were moved to a new room that was overall better, thanks to the lovely staff at the front desk (EVERYONE we interacted with at the front desk was fun, lively, and most importantly, helpful). The pool and hot tub/whirlpool was nice/clean, and so was the gym. Location-wise, it’s close to a few decent restaurants and a short walk from the Salt Palace Convention Center. For the price, the hotel met most expectations.

It was a nice location, but the hot tub was COLD! When you want a nice hot tub at the end of the night! It’s not available,…. Especially when you pay good money on this hotel! Totally not worth it!

One of the elevators was out of service so everybody had to use the same one, which was a little rough since a lot of us were all going to the same event. But there usually want too much of a wait. The beds were more firm than I like, but otherwise it was wonderful!

Was never told that the indoor parking was $25 a night. That was a horrible surprise the next day. The night before i was told it was free parking just had to give them my license plate number.

5 day stay from Los Angeles due to a huge soccer tournament, Premier super copa. We booked a team block for 14 families breakfast and parking included. $1200 Breakfast 7-8am only! Mini buffet set up in a meeting room. All the food was terrible! Either under cooked or over cooked. Tasteless, No salt no flavor and cold! The coffee was terrible too! No flavored creamer either. Every day was the same food. The hotel has a nice view but the windows are covered in dust. They need to be cleaned!! The rooms are small! It close to many restaurants and kid friendly places. Parking is a headache since they do share the garage with Hyatt. Only two washers and two dryers. Their Bristo restaurant is expensive! Not sure why this hotel Is highly rated. Honestly I would rather stay somewhere else for fraction of the price and have more options for breakfast and for longer periods of time. Representative Vika Was amazing!!! The gym is little but equipped. There’s construction going on right across from the hotel. therefore there’s lots of cones. Narrow lanes/ machinery noise and lots of traffic.

Cosy and clean hotel in down town Salt Lake city. Quick check in and check out. Room is clean and spacious with modern bathroom. Rooms are cleaned every other day unless you request a daily cleaning. Many restaurants nearby.

5 day stay from Los Angeles due to a huge soccer tournament, Premier super copa. We booked a team block for 14 families breakfast and parking included. $1200 Breakfast 7-8am only! Mini buffet set up in a meeting room. All the food was terrible! Either under cooked or over cooked. Tasteless, No salt no flavor and cold! The coffee was terrible too! No flavored creamer either. Every day was the same food. The hotel has a nice view but the windows are covered in dust. They need to be cleaned!! The rooms are small! It close to many restaurants and kid friendly places. Parking is a headache since they do share the garage with Hyatt. Only two washers and two dryers. Their Bristo restaurant is expensive! Not sure why this hotel Is highly rated. Honestly I would rather stay somewhere else for fraction of the price and have more options for breakfast and for longer periods of time. Representative Vika Was amazing!!! The gym is little but equipped. There’s construction going on right across from the hotel. therefore there’s lots of cones. Narrow lanes/ machinery noise and lots of traffic.

Not quiet but definitely clean and in a good location. Walls are very thin and you can hear people on every side.. crowd noise from nearby venues add to the volume - but if you don’t mind that, this place is a great weekend spot.

Great hotel in a great location. Gateway Plaza, City Creek Mall, and tons of restaurants are all nearby and within walking distance. If you like the Lime Scooters, you can go all over downtown within minutes from here. It is right in front of Delta Center, for anyone wanting a good hotel for a Utah Jazz game. Room was clean and spacious. King bed is super comfortable. Biggest issue was the aircon. The fan was very loud regardless of the setting and would make a loud grinding sound every few minutes that made it hard to sleep comfortably through the night. Turning it off was not an option as the room got too hot without the machine on. Also, quite a bit of the trim/plastic around the nightstand lights, in the bathroom and around the hallways and rooms are broken or worn down, which makes it feel a little cheap. There were big holes in the plastic lamp shades on the night stand lights.

It was excellent for staying one night while attending the Jazz basketball game. The arena is literally right across a small street from the hotel lobby. Lots of restaurants and places to walk to. Beds were comfortable. The shower handle was very hard to turn on.

Check in was a breeze thanks to the lovely counter staff. Room was excellent- had a great view of the city and when I tell you I was steps from the Delta Center? I could see it clear from my hotel room! Very convenient as I had gone for a hockey game. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. It was fabulous!

The bed was broken down in the middle. The phone charging outlets didn’t work, the lights constantly flickered, you could every little sound the neighbors were making. Sounded like they were demolishing the furniture all 3 nights we were there. The room was overly warm. I turned down the ac to 64 and it never got below 70. The shower was either cold or extreme hot, the handle would not stay where you put it.

The only issue we had was with the front desk help early morning 2/14. We waited to ask about getting coffee, when he finished on his phone call, he retreated immediately to a small room behind the desk and got on his cell phone- everyone else was helpful, and friendly.

Check in staff was wonderful and room/facilities were clean. While getting ready Saturday afternoon, my co traveler was using a hair straightener that burned her hair, which momentarily set off the smoke alarm. The next morning, I received an email informing me I would be charged a smoking fee. I immediately went to the front desk to address the issue and explain that there was no smoking or vaping of any kind in the room. At the desk, I was informed that only a manager could reverse the charge and there was no manager there. The staff member stated she would make a note and a manager would get back to me. Two days later, with nothing heard, I called the establishment and was told again the manager was not available and she would get back to me. With nothing heard by Friday, I emailed the manager and now another week later have still heard nothing and was charged $300 (twice the cost of the room) for something that I did not do! Will never stay there again and will discourage others as well.

At 11:30p, we woke to someone banging very loudly and multiple times. It was so scary!!! They did not identify themselves and just kept pounding on the door! I’ve never been so scared in my life! I called down to the front desk saying “Someone is banging on our door and it is NOT SAFE! Send someone now to protect us!” and the guy answered saying “it was me delivering the comforter you requested.” I didn’t believe that for a Second because we were on the 3rd floor and it would have taken 2-3 minutes to get to the front desk. I replied “We didn’t order it a comforter. And we do not need one!” I swear someone stood outside our door for at least 15 minutes waiting… I’ve never been so terrified! I don’t know what this hotel has going on, but I’ll definitely think twice before booking again! Everything else was fine. They need to train their evening staff!!!

Perfect location if you’re wanting something walking distance to Gateway or Delta Center. We ride the free bus to somewhere else downtown. Very quiet and no problems whatsoever. We used the hot tub twice. My only complaint was the long line at check-in where they only had one person checking people in. Other than that, it was lovely.

I really enjoyed my 5 night stay here. For the price it was a great walkable location to many nice shops and sights to visit. The hotel smelled great and was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful in giving recommendations and directions for things in the area. I like that the restaurant serves Starbucks drinks and gives free drip coffee after 10:30. I just wish there was an outdoor pool! The coffee bar inside the rooms could also use improvements. But overall a great place to be!

We stay here whenever we go to a Jazz game or when we go to the Christmas Sing Along and have loved it in the past. This visit, there was a random q-tip on the floor and the lotion had been opened and was almost empty. There seemed to be things splattered on the walls, especially in the bathroom. We did eat at the bistro for breakfast and it was great! Really good service and the food was delicious! I'm sure we'll come back again, but I hope some of the little things will be fixed.

The hot tub was broken, our faucet in our room was broken. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The room needs some touch up. They only have a Starbucks so no complimentary breakfast. Not really a great family friendly hotel.

It was close to our activities that we came to Slc for so that’s great. We did not like the bistro breakfast. The bottled soda was expired by like 6-7 months and almost 5$ for that alone. And the food was so so. Eat somewhere else and you won’t regret it.
