All i can say is, ask for an upper floor, which i am sure is very nice. i was downstairs near the door and there was a family of 8 above me, 4 of them directly above. What a racket! The place is pretty, although a bit isolated (i had to eat dinner at Subway). The lady in the kitchen was very nice—made me a camomile tea and commiserated. The owner apologized by phone and said she was going to call the father of the teenagers; however, the gentleman at the desk in the morning (husband?) made no contact or attempt to mention a guest’s inability to sleep in that room due to noise. 8 against 1 guest? i did book 4 months ahead and requested a « quiet room », which disappointed me. if you luck out and book an upper room, i am sure you might have a lovely experience here.
