Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown

Room was decent my issue was the pool was freezing cold and since we are down town Dallas we can hear all the bikers. Extremely loud at times

The location is great, however the valet parking is a mess. Need to have a better system. The room was clean and organized Breakfast option was okay. The gym was very good.

Parking was ridiculous! We paid for valet and still waited over 20 minutes

We really enjoyed our stay!!! It was very clean and the staff was very professional and helpful. I really appreciated the water/ice machine on our hotel floor. The complimentary breakfast was extremely well put together and easy to access. My only issue is parking. The location for self parking is inconvenient and may not necessarily be safe and Valet is $45 a day.

Only complaint I have is the indoor pool was not heated.

The hotel and rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and equipped, good view. Location is good for walking downtown. Pool is nice, breakfast good. But parking is Valet only... no other safe parking garages or lots.

We booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. But once we checked in, staff told us the pool was closed for the week. So disappointed because our kids wanted to swim

Only option is $45/night valet parking or expensive outdoor, dirty, unsafe lots run by the "city". The staff said there was an $8/12 hours lot but I ended up only finding 1 that charged $15/12 hours or $30/24 hours. The other made you pay a 24 hour fee but it ran out at midnight who pays for 24 hours but only needs the lot for 7 hours? SMH it made no sense. I wish the hotel offered parking in the garage for $30 bucks I'd have been fine with that. The pool was under reno. The views were great from the room. AC blew ice cold. Room was with double queen was tight and awkward. It was hard to move around. It was loud outside until midnight but it seemed to calm down after that. It is a typical downtown area with some shady people walking around, some homeless, and a mix of families, couples, and business people. Breakfast was decent and typical hotel breakfast, but there is a starbucks attached to the building but with limited hours compared to those who are standalone.

Very nice, clean rooms. Felt very safe inside and out. Only disappointment was that the pool was closed for our entire stay. Any other inconveniences were entirely related to the fantastic location (traffic noise at night and $45 per day for parking), but that’s the cost of staying downtown and not the fault of the hotel. Good value all around. Would stay again for sure, but would triple check that the pool’s open. Dallas is HOT :)

Checked in thru the app but still had to wait in line to check in thru the front desk for a key. Room was nice. The parking wasn't horrible but when we were checking out, we had to wait nearly 30 mins for valet to bring us our car.

The front desk service was really great and professional. The pool was not clean and was dirty. I went there in the morning right after it opened. Should have been no reason for the pool to be dirty. The pollow cases on the bed had stains on them on one side. There was also hair along the shower wall. When we ordered dinner for delivery, one of the employees did not allow the delivery driver to meet me inside the lobby. They asked me to run outside and meet them.

Great hotel right in downtown Dallas. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was nice. The shower was great. It has all the shampoos, conditioners and body soap that you need. The TV was a good size. The free breakfast was good. Eggs, potatoes and sausage. Cereals and breads, muffins and waffles ofcourse. Coffee was tasty. Check in and check out was very fast. Nothing bad to say.

The heart of downtown Dallas is cool but definitely in a pricey side due to expensive parking, but if you don’t have a car or travel far this spot is convenient and good. I just wish they do clean the carpet, can tell the spots of dogs mess in the hall way. They can improve their continental breakfast. But overall it’s a good spot.

Overall the stay was ok. The only cons were that the bed skirt obviously hadn't been changed in a while. There was blood on the skirt as well as hair, skin and food tucked in the crease of the bed skirt. Walls in the bathroom was a bit dirty as well. The breakfast was great and the front desk staff were awesome! Would stay again as long as they start changing the bed skirt after each guest!

The day of my wedding I asked room service to clean my room. All they did was bring the fresh towels & cleaned the bed, it was still left trash in my room nothing was cleaned so me and My Husband 💙 had to come back to our room that was dirty from that morning. One of the front desk, ladies said that if they had availability, she would have transferred me to another room because the way they left my room on my wedding night was crazy.

I only have to complain about the daily cleaning of the room, which was not cleaned in the 3 days.

Got dozens of flea bites from the second night of sleep, the room is in need of deep cleaning. Likely fleas from pet staying in the room before.

Probably my last stay at a Hampton, and they used to be my go-to. Breakfast didn't even meet low expectations. Ice machines on five floors not working, and they told me to go to the adjacent Starbucks for ice. Toilet was clogged. No toilet paper. Refrigerator and TV remote didn't work. Room was never cleaned. Desk said they clean every other day. Out of the room for at least four hours each day. No cleaning.

Great hotel. Clean!

We stayed in a double queen room. The room was very tight and you hardly had room to move the desk chair before it hit the end of the bed. The shower curtain was too short and therefore water got all over the floor after every shower. The AC didn’t work well and shut off during the day and at night. We woke up to the room being 78* every morning. The best thing about the stay was the relaxing area on the 2nd floor near the breakfast area. There is a long large table where we were able to hang out every night and enjoy friends and family

A lot of street noise at night and can hear other guest talking in hallways inside hotel room. Room was fine. Minor little upgrades needed in the rooms. Breakfast was okay. Did like how you have to use your room key for elevator. A lot of homeless in the area and construction going on

It was convenient to get to American Airlines Arena. Staff was great,especially Ms Diane at front desk at night. Only problem couldn't control water temperature in bathroom. Only hot water,so taking a shower was difficult to not get burned. Even toilet bowl was hot water. I reported it and they were working on it.

I checked into the Hampton Inn & Suites hotel and was assigned a room on the upper floors. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable bed on my 9-night tour through Texas. There was lots of space in the bathroom and the shower was simply fantastic! The staff at the front desk were friendly and approachable. The elevators are fast and I like the soft close room doors. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff did a great job maintaining the breakfast area and the property. The only downside is the late night street noise from loud sport cars.

Had a great corner room 5th floor that had 3 large windows like 6ftx6ft, spacious 2 beds,sectional,large bathroom with another large window overlooking the streets below and sky scrapers.

The property itself was fine,the staff was great especially Diane at the desk at night. Our only problem was the cold water didn't work. So you couldn't adjust the water at the shower,sink and even the toilet tank was hot. When you used the toilet the bowl was hot steam coming up on your hind parts.

I loved it here. Only thing is that the WiFi sucks!! I suggest using a hotspot or going somewhere else if you need to work. Other than that it’s a really nice hotel.

The rooms were dark and the TV is old so I could not log onto my Netflilx or other streaming service. Basically it is ok but long over due for a refurb. Long in the tooth

CHECK-IN: I checked in digitally on the app as recommended. I chose a room on the 15th floor, but then the app told me that I needed to show my ID to the employees. I re-did the entire check-in process with the employee, so it was a waste of time to use the app. Then they gave me a room on the 12th floor, although I chose the 15th floor on the app. The guy that checked me in was also not the best service-wise. He didn't greet me and wasn't very helpful. THE ROOM: The room was okay. The bed was not comfortable like I am used to at hotels, and the bathroom was not very clean (stained shower floor and a long piece of hair on the wall). SAFETY: The first morning, I witnessed a homeless person macing the security guard in the lobby. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel, but other than the macing incident, I never felt unsafe. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was standard; not bad. Get there early, or it will be super busy. PARKING: There's a parking lot behind the hotel, but it only offers parking for 12 hours at a time. Which is inconvenient if you don't plan to be parked that long. Street parking is available, but there are weird times when you can't park near the hotel, so I had to move my car a lot. LOCATION: The area seemed okay. There were lots of restaurants around (expensive, though), and it was pretty walkable.

Loved the comfort of the rooms. Staff (Alexander) made us feel welcome every time we saw him.

I stayed with my sister and my niece for two nights. I was very happy with my stay. Check-in was easy. The person at the front desk was friendly and answered our questions. Our basic two-Queen room was spacious and clean. I really appreciated the full-size handwash, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner that were provided. The handwash smelled amazing! The free breakfast was phenomenal. My niece (13 years old) LOVED making waffles both mornings, and my sister and I appreciated the variations we got with the eggs/Yukon gold potatoes/bacon on day one and the Western omelet (so delicious)/red potatoes/sausage we got on day two. Very filling, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. We only needed requests twice and both times the staff was quick to respond and assist. The location couldn't be better either. The central location made so many things walkable. We explored the AT&T Discovery District our first night and the installations were beautiful. The next day, we walked to Dealey Plaza and the Dallas Aquarium. When we did need to drive somewhere, we never waited more than two minutes for an Uber or Lyft. If you need a place to stay in downtown Dallas, I cannot recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites more. I will absolutely stay there again the next time I'm in Dallas.

The staff is friendly and attentive, they made my stay very comfortable

The night time staff was so accommodating. Not only did they give me a late check out when I requested it, they asked if I needed a toothbrush and toothpaste after hearing I was in because of a cancelled flight. It is the little things that make a big difference and that woman delivered!

Aaron with valet was great! Super friendly and very helpful! This was the first time we’ve ever done valet and he made it a breeze. Helped us unload our vehicle and took everything to our room. Carl at the desk was fantastic too. He made the check in process a breeze.

Very understanding staff and great service overall

The team went the extra mile and had a birthday ard and candy waiting in the room for my 13 yr. old grandson! Kudos!

Upon arrival I felt the front desk clerk was rude and extremely disrespectful. Check-in time was at 3:00 p.m. We arrived at 4:18pm. Front desk employee told me I could not check in because housekeeping was not done cleaning the room and he would check on them in 15-20 mins. After waiting and the clerk not checking, my husband asked the clerk again about our room and explained our situation. The employee jumped up out of his chair to disrespect my husband to tell him that there is nothing he can do about it and then told me husband he had to give him his driver's license. This was very strange since I booked the room. After getting the driver's license and more rude unprofessional comments. We were given a room. The employee never checked with housekeeping and only kept us waiting. Before even giving us our room keys the employee got on his phone and started gossiping on the other end. Once we got to the room. The room was dirty. There were Skittles scattered on the floor. Mexico gum wrappers in sink drain. Dirty towel on bathroom counter and fridge was not plugged in. We purposely booked this particular hotel for the indoor pool and the pool was closed. Hotel breakfast employees were amazing and had great customer service and were super friendly and helpful to all guests.

Convenient downtown location

Central location, walkable to main attractions. Some good restaurants nearby. Safe neighborhood. The room was quite spacious. Good facilities. Standard breakfast spread. Courteous staff.

The hotel is nice and in the heart of downtown. However, the homeless camp is one block away. There are some boarded up buildings , too. Also, the valet parking is a rip off. Do not let them take your luggage. Park in front of the hotel and go get a luggage cart yourself. Then park your car in one of the self parking garages for one fourth of the charge. They are all walking distnce. Do your homework upfront.

Great location, we were able to walk to numerous attractions and historic sites from our hotel. Multiple restaurants and eating venues around hotel.

The hotel is very well located in the middle of town. We came when the street was blocked because of a parade. I wish they had let us know in advance so we could find a different parking arrangement. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Hampton Inn & Suites is in a great location in Downtown Dallas. This hotel is my hotel to stay in every time I'm in Dallas.

Beds were comfy, breakfast had a great variety of options, staff was friendly and helpful. Great option for the downtown area.

Parking: Valet parking can be paid for through a website, and you can request your car in advance via the website when you need. There is also public parking available nearby. Breakfast: The hotel's breakfast is pretty good, with the hot breakfast section rotating. You can also make Texas shaped pancakes, and the pancake batter comes in two flavors each day. Service and Nearby: The hotel's cleanliness is good, with housekeeping service every other day. The hotel front desk sells some snacks and basic toiletries. There's also a Starbucks on the first floor. Plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient to get around. The downside is that the bathroom lacks ventilation. The shower controls in the bathroom are not very intuitive, and it's unclear how to properly turn them off.

Excellent daily breakfast available, friendly staff, clean and comfortable, modern design. A really wonderful experience and I was very very happy with my stay.

In a great location. Only 3 blocks from AT&T park and round the corner from hop on off trolley stop. Just bed is not comfortable. We had 2 queen bed facing Commerce Street on 14th floor. Strong shower and drainage. Breakfast is great too.

We love the location and the type of breakfast.
