EV charging was a simple 12A and 75 cents per kWh which is expensive.

Staff was amazing and very friendly. The room was clean enough for the price. I know they can’t do much about this but the parking lot is awful. It sucks.

Only complaint I have was the parking. We checked in at 4pm and had ample parking and was able to park directly in front of our room. We left to go to dinner around 7pm and returned around 9pm to find absolutely no parking available. We drove around the parking lot 3 times to try to find a spot. We ended up having to park up by the office which was on the opposite side of the property from our room. Other than that everything was great. Clean room, well kept grounds, and friendly staff.

The stairwells were nasty outside We ask for a downstairs room because of elderly customers and were put in an upstairs room with no elevators available. We barely made it up the steps to stay.

No fitness center but agreement with next door hotel to use their indoor pool and fitness center. Staff was amazing and good breakfast!

We booked here based on price and the fact they have EV charging on site. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were pretty terrible. Room was clean and everything in working order. The EV chargers on site were able to get us a full charge overnight and were not blocked or in use by others during our stay. Nice.

Electric car chargers are a big plus.

Our room was updated and very clean. The kids loved the pool and breakfast was great every day. There were a lot of options for breakfast and the staff running breakfast made sure everything was refilled and clean. The staff came in and refreshed our room about halfway through our stay and it was great. We travelled with our dog as well and the dog area was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and ready to help in any way needed. This is a great hotel!

Use of indoor pool

It was a great stay. The staff was great. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the hair in the shower and in the corners of the tile floor was dirt, debris and a lot of hair. Everything was great but that.

I have stayed before really great! This time different. Before two water bottles were in room this time none. This time a roach first night by sink. Second night roach on my nightstand. They need to fix this problem quickly and get it back to what it was before.

The hotel room looked tidy for the most part but the room was damp and smelled horrible. Left the door open all night to air out but didnt make a difference. I would not stay here again.

The bathroom floor in room 238 was very dirty. It left a black film under my foot. Other than that, everything else was nice and clean. Breakfast was nice too. Nice hot coffee. I love the coffee maker in the room. Would definitely come again in the future if I’m ever back out there.

Front desk receptionist was very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. I loved everything about this hotel! It was updated, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely return!

Found mold in the bathroom calling. They said “that’s bad, I will let maintenance know.”

The staff was friendly. Our room had been recently updated and was clean, that was nice. The free breakfast was good.

Staff were nice! Room had a slight must but was overall clean. I will say, pillows were 1/2 sized? Like, throw pillow sized. So that was odd. And unfortunately the coffee was…not good. Also a little odd, the gym is actually at the hotel next door. But hey, all in all for the price, not bad.

Basic hotel, could use some TLC. The brown armchair in the room was cracked, scratched, definitely worn. Not that I was planning to use it but definitely an eye sore. There was also a huge chip in the paint on the bathroom door which was unsightly. That said the room was clean and bed comfortable, and the desk staff super friendly!

The WiFi didn’t work. This was just a standard hotel. It served its purposes. Front desk was helpful when I had questions. Centrally located to several sites in Asheville.

Carpet in the room felt really grimy. The shower curtain had many holes at the top. Also the mattress was pretty bad. Everything else was fine.

Staff was unable to provide only 2 extra pillows for my stay. This was for not just one, but two nights. Problems with the in-room heat pump, would only blow cold air unless I did a manual reset each time it was used. Ran out of hot water on my departure morning. Otherwise, the property was very clean, recently renovated, and the staff were very friendly. Nice continental breakfast and good coffee. Nice place to stay if the other wrinkles can be ironed out.

Had problems with TV and WI-FI. But they came to fix it right away.

No hot water! I let the folks know at the desk that we didn’t have any hot water the first night. When we checked out after the second night, I explained that we still had not had any hot water. The lady at the desk said that she would be calling the manager because other folks in various buildings were also complaining about no hot water. We were in town for a wedding and really needed at least warm water for showers. This is really a shame because it looked like the hotel had recently been updated.

The front desk was super helpful and very accommodating. The room was very clean. I stayed two nights and the room was cleaned and linen changed, which was not expected as it seems hotels have changed this standard since covid.

Front desk help needs more English training. She did not understand my request for cleanup at the tool. The mess was not cleaned up before I checked out.

Best Westerns are usually all pretty good. I was given the key to someone else’s room and walked in, I didn’t see anything but a security and safety issue. My heater wouldn’t turn off in the room till I unplugged it each time. Asheville is turning in to a trashy town so wouldn’t stay in the area again

The check in was seamless as the clerk had the best personality and immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable! We are definitely going back, location and staff are fantastic!

Had many choices for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Room was quiet. Grounds well kept. Unfortunately someone backed into my parked car overnight and did not leave a note. I was allowed to review surveillance camera video and it did not capture the culprit. There was a 2 hour gap in the video though when it may have occurred. Large dent in tailgate and deep scratches below rear window. That was my only disappointment with the hotel.

My driver checked in the room for two days, he stepped at for work in morning and when he came back midnight he couldn’t get in his room because simply they reserved it for someone else who was sleeping already with my personal stuff and belongings! Never heard of such situation, they kept him in the lobby for one hour to find him another room and get his bag and personal stuff. Need a full refund of both nights at least for the inconvenience and the front desk staff attitude who didn’t know what to do!!!!

Great value. Check in was easy and guys at desk were able to ask questions about the area and very helpful. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast had good selecton of items but eggs were ice cold. Told hostess who did not check eggs after being informed of this. We are regular visitors to Asheville area and there are many other overnite accommodations in the area to select from. Overall clean and comfortable place.

I do not recommend. Old style motel in an area that feels a little sketchy. I realize Asheville has been through its tough times, but there are a lot of people hanging around here that are not housed. People sleeping in their cars, etc. not saying that it isn’t safe, but I wouldn’t leave anything in my car and I’m not sure it would be a great place for kids. People going between rooms in the night, etc. Property should alert potential guests that this has become a FEMA hotel.

Great location, easy 5 minute drive to the center of Asheville and very close to a shopping mall. Was clean and decent breakfast.

The room itself was a no smoking room but the moment we walked in we could tell it had been occupied by smokers. There were little things missed by the cleaning staff here and there. The toilet never stopped running and the screws came out of the top hinges of the bathroom door after the first day. And there were transients all over the property at all hours. Stayed because it would have been too luch trouble to change and the location was convenient, but would not stay again.

We went to the Biltmore for our anniversary. The hotel was just minutes away from there. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and they served a great breakfast. There were many nice restaurants in the area.

The location of this hotel can’t be beat. A quick drive right to downtown Asheville or an easy drive up to the mountains. The room was nice. Breakfast was fabulous! The front staff was kind and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend.

Nice updated hotel. Clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable, pillow choices okay. Staff was friendly and helpful with local restaurant suggestions for dinner. At the edge of town coming in from the Blue Rigde Parkway south, so not too close to downtown. Would recommend.

Very close to shopping, convenient to my meeting. Not a very walkable neighborhood.

The hotel was on a very busy highway, so itcwas hard to get into and out of.

Great place to stay for easy access to downtown Asheville and plenty of shopping in the immediate area.

Comfortable beds, easy check-in, great breakfast

The breakfast was good. However, they didn't serve grits neither of the two days my family attended breakfast. The hotel was only 16 mins away from the Biltmore Estate which was the reason why we came to Asheville. The mall and places to eat are super close to this hotel, we even made a Walgreens run to pick up some diapers for the twins which was just right up the street. The location was great as far as being close to everything we needed during our stay. In regards to the actual stay, our room did not have her iron even though there was a iron holder. The iron holder was empty and my partner had to request for iron to be brought to our room. It took a while for them to get it to us which put our morning behind a little bit. The floor from the vanity to the bathroom isn't even and I almost tripped my first night there because I didn't realize that I needed to step up to go into the bathroom. The room has recently been renovated, however, the bedspread had a big hole on it that was covered by a blanket throw at the bottom of the bed. The trash cans were too small for the amount of trash my family needed to throw away. The hotel room smelled like a hotel room and the air conditioning unit was pretty loud all the way it did work well and cool the room off to the appropriate temperature that was comfortable for us. We were able to find a kids channel that played cocomelon for our toddlers, which is part of their morning routine. The children enjoyed that very much.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is always clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast is excellent. Today they served fluffy scrambled eggs, link sausages, biscuits, and gravy. Cereals, grits, toast, bagels, yogurt, and make-your-own mini waffles were also available. This is our go-to hotel when we visit the Asheville area. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff. Keep up the good work and cheerful, helpful attitudes.

Our stay was very comfortable. The location was convenient for our visit to The Biltmore. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. We were even pleasantly surprised that they offered the indoor pool next door to the guests at this hotel. The kids loved that since it was too cold for an outdoor swim. The staff were very nice and helpful. I have no complaints. The only real thing that could use some improvement is the breakfast. While they do have a big selection the only thing the biscuits, gravy, eggs and sausage wasn’t Great, but there was the waffle maker and plenty of other options. That’s not necessarily a complaint, but more a suggestion for future reference. I would definitely recommend and stay again!
