Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown by IHG

Received a ticket right in front of the hotel. Stayed a little later than expected And as soon as the 2 hr limit was up received a ticket. A bit ridiculous especially when it wasn’t crowded and an off time!!!!

Summary: Place could use a bit of an upgrade. Front desk staff needs training in customer service. Would not recommend for a stay longer than 24 hours. The good: -free parking and plenty available -near to shops and restaurants in downtown tuscaloosa -near to the Riverwalk -refrigerator (albeit small) in room The less good: -rooms are not cleaned consistently. Dirty floors at check-in -room service took over 45 minutes to get food even though a call was made down to the front desk to follow up -minimal drawer space -bathroom wastecan is not lined (just ewww) -check in and front desk help was apathetic (not welcoming) -bathroom lighting needs to be brighter for real use (like putting on makeup)

Wow the lookout at the top of the hotel was so cool! All great stay!

Great place to stay in Tuscaloosa.

Nice location - good beds. Rain noise was a bit loud due to awnings right below our window.
