no counter space. loud traffic, getting in and out is a challenge Due to the hill the motel sits on.

Very clean and updated room. Driveway in and out was a little tricky. Would highly recommend for the price!!!! No AC, but didn’t need it anyway.

It was a good place to stay, although there was a lot of traffic noise, but actually it kind of sounded like the ocean waves! One thing to be aware of, the 2 driveways onto the property are very steep and kind of narrow. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very large.

Hi, This is a well maintained clean motel and is like the photos. The room is spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable and the shower has good hot water pressure. There is no tea kettle or coffee m/c in the room however you can get hot water at the office. There are heaters in both the room and bathroom which was needed as it did get cold at hight.The checkin was easy and the front desk person was very helpful and nice. Parking is right in front of each room. This motel is in front of the highway however the traffic noise was not loud at all. Would recommend ear plugs as the walls are not too thick. There is a drive thru coffee place right across the street, plenty of places to eat and a grocery store within a 1/4 mile. All in all, this place surprised me with its service, cleanliness and the quality of the room.

Really steep hill getting in and out. Blind corners to get around getting out. Property staff was unfriendly when we had an issue getting into our room. Room was clean and very basic.

We had difficulty checking in. The rooms are very small, but looked updated. The cleaning was a little lax but it wasn't terrible. The hotel is right on the highway, so there is some noise. The parking situation is a tight squeeze. All in all, the room itself was adequate. They fit a lot into a small space efficiently. Customer service was good. Our original booking was cancelled at the very last minute due to a plumbing issue. They offered us a free stay for another time, which I thought was more than fair. This was that re-booking. Had a little bit of difficulty getting ahold of someone to re-book, but in the end it all worked out.

I was just there for a concert at the Casino to avoid driving home late at night. it is within ez walking distance and a great alternative if you don't want to stay at Chinook Winds. Ez check in and out. Clean room. Close parking. Not much else I can add. I left at sunrise.

This place is great if you are stopping in Lincoln city for a night or just driving through. The walls are rather thin (could hear snoring next door) and the parking was limited. Can't beat it for the price though!

The driveway was very steep to the parking spaces. It's not overlooking the beach - so be prepare for that, if that is what you are looking for.

No soap or bathmat. Hair and scum on lower walls around the toilet! No coffee available. No alarm clock. Cheap beds! Very generic room for the price they charge!

Excellent place to stay. Very clean. Safe. Ocean view being so high up on a hill. Truly enjoyed staying here. Has everything you need!

Basic motel but updated and very clean. All we needed for one night of rest. Reasonable price and no two night minimum

We are very disappointed with our stay. First of all, we walked in and immediately opened up all windows because the chemicals were overpowering in the room. Or - we wondered if it was a coverup of throw up or an overflowed toilet. The stench was so strong, my eyes puffed up and cheeks stayed beet red. - One other aspect. I spilled a little water on the froor and I cleaned it up with toilet paper, the toilet paper turned BLACK. This is not good!!! We left the evening before checkout; My husband considered it a dump and I couldn't fathom staying any longer with the stench and uncleanliness.

The rooms were incredibly clean and homely feeling compared to other motels I've stayed in recently.

The room was exactly as pictured, very very clean and looks to have recently been renovated. I liked the look of the room and it was so clean! Probably the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in! Bed was very comfortable and seemed new as well. Large Roku TV with Netflix and every other streaming service. Its a great place to stay at an amazing price, one of the lowest i could find. The staff was very nice and helpful, which i appreciate. Overall i say its a great place and i will stay again.

The building is definitely older, but is well maintained and clean. I couldn’t hear my neighbors like some of the other reviews said. I would recommend it.

Recently updated, very clean, excellent location, that was very comfortable.

The sheets were used and not cleaned. When we got in, you can still smell the body odor. The cleaning staff came in without knocking at 9 am while my wide was still sleeping.

Super basic hotel room but everything is new and very clean. A great deal for a fantastic location and warm, friendly service.

The room was sparse but clean. They use a bottom sheet with a lightweight bedspread directly on top of it. They consider that the top sheet. That bedspread, when pulled up, reached about stomach height. There's a fluffy polyester blanket you can use for more warmth. I realize there are different ways of handling bedding, but it would have felt more sanitary to have an actual top sheet that I know has been washed in between each guest's stay. Their bathroom towels are nice. There is no air conditioning, but the screened window opens. We heard traffic all night long because the hotel is adjacent to Hwy 101. Our timing for staying there was inconvenient because they had a host of issues with internet (including the TV) which someone worked on for hours. Even the touch code door lock would not work. The TV mostly worked starting about 7 pm, when a hotel staff person came to our room upon request. We understand that these things happen. I believe the staff is highly motivated to help guests. I'd rank this hotel as 3/5. It's clean and modest. I can't imagine how the ranking was 8.6 on Expedia.

I booked off the overall rating rather than reading the comments, which was a mistake. The rooms are very, very small with a 2 person table. 1 person can’t sit at the table because it’s against the mini fridge. The bed is a metal frame with 1 mattress, if you want to call it that. It felt like a foam pad and my back ached all night. There really isn’t any place to it suitcases other than the floor. While the place sits above Hwy 101 it is still very noisy from the traffic. I would not stay here again.

It was clean. Absolutely no amenities. Had to put our belongings on the floor because there was nowhere to put them. Very small table and two stools no chairs. Vanity in bathroom was super small and it was hard to find any room to put our toiletries which was actually minimal. Super steep driveway going into property and it had holes in the blacktop. Will not return.

It's a good deal. The hotel is clean. There is no furniture in the room, but considering it's relatively cheap so it is OK. It's very close to 101 road, so it's a bit noisy.

Room was very clean and comfortable, staff is excellent and the price was great. The walls are just a little thin and I could hear the neighboring guests.

This was a very basic room. Just a bed on a frame (no headboard) with 2 pillows. There wasn’t anything on the walls and the room felt unwelcoming. It was clean, recently upgraded, but extremely basic

Things were ok here through 1 stay and half of another, when wifi suddenly went out. I sucked it up a few hours, noting it once to staff and getting brushed off. When nothing changed, and falling behind on work, I reported it again -- and was met with literally shrieking, hysterical insane abuse. They also simply denied the outage, saying it was working, which was *obvious*ly false -- but they refused more than a dozen times, while shrieking, to even look at my laptop with me, so I could show them the disconnect. They had to be well aware of it -- and has no interest in admitting it let alone doing anything about it. So, partly to verify that the problem was the wifi not my machine, and partly to get some work done -- and feeling physically unsafe from the insanely hostile behavior -- I went out (despite *also* feeling unsafe for my stuff in the room, while away), on my bike in wet weather, to 3 diverse public places, getting online normally in all. Returning to the motel and finding still no change, I reported the outage yet again, this time as verified, and got even more abuse. I had no Net there for my last 21 hr there. I'm in work with my MasterCard to remove at least 1 of my 2-night stay -- for the abuse even more than the lack of a critical basic advertised service. Part of the abuse was their insistence they'd sue if I removed any charge. Well, from the card's stance, it's as likely to be the *whole* charge as 1 night. And I can't wait to meet their lawyers.

Customer service was prompt and attentive to everyone in the property

Checked me in despite being after hours. They typically close at 8pm but Orbitz booked for me at 930. Luckily caught them in office at 10 pm..very friendly.

This recently renovated motel was spotless and comfortable and onsite management was very friendly, helpful, and kind. Would absolutely stay there again.

The customer service was awesome. They went above and beyond and metal requests.

Birthday weekend away. Small simple and clean room. Our smoke detector went off un the middle of the nihjt and they where available immediately to assist us and get it turned off so we could get back to sleep.

Clean and comfortable. Roku tv very convenient. Strangers double booked into our room, arrived with a master key at 1 am!! Management apologized and offered us 20% of next visit.

No shops nearby, just a coffee drive thru. Very well posted "No Pets" - I left my Coutour neck pillow and called after we left & realized when we got home. (3hrs away) and the gal said I'll go check & call you right back - that 1as 11am today and it's now 6:30pm and still no call - So, I gave up and ordered a new one... a little frustrating, as I would have gladly paid the shipping to send it to me.

It looks old & unkept. The lady who waited on us plus the cleaning staff were great. We couldn’t have been treated any better. Property definitely needs updated.

Looking for a great budget motel in Lincoln City, OR? This one is super clean, well equipped for what is needed, comfortable bed, elevated up off 101 for a nice peekaboo view of the ocean and less traffic noise than those at street level. We loved our stay. No A/C but that is rarely a problem at the beach. Just open the front window and the door and let the ocean breeze come right it. No coffee machines in room...but the office keeps a warm pot, and a great coffee vendor (Human Bean) is just across the street.

Central location, very clean, terrible sleep. The bed felt like we were staying on a pull out couch. The shower would turn on and off throughout the night. The LED light on the TV would randomly turn on and off throughout the night illuminating the room. Walls paper thin could hear people having normal-low conversations all night. Their prices need to reflect what the rooms actually are.

Just the essentials (which was fine by us), clean, convenient (walking distance to the beach and Chinook Winds), nice/helpful staff, very affordable! Would stay there again.

Great value compared to other options I looked at in the area. The outside made me a bit worried but I was pleasantly surprised by the room itself which was clean and pretty nice. Also being within walking distance of the beach was a huge plus. My only complaints were that I did find two spiders in my room right after I got there (considering there’s no interior hallway like a hotel I don’t consider this to be a major offense), that there wasn’t a second set of curtains (to let light in but not allow others to see in), and that the room was a bit stuffy in the afternoon (alleviated by opening the bathroom window). But I would definitely recommend if you’re okay with a no frills kind of place!

The owner was extremely helpful! Made extra sure we had everything we needed. Even gave us a restaurant suggestion that was the best Mexican food we’ve eaten outside of Mexico! Pubertal Vallarta Mexican! Quiet even though you are close to the highway. It’s an older hotel but they are really working hard to make it a good one! We would definitely go back.

Liked everything except coffee available only in the lobby & not ready until 7am so we head to wait on that. Mancie is very nice friendly !

It is an odd check in system. They send you a code. Door doesn't automaticaly lock behind you so double check before you leave your room. Located up on side of hill so don't get much road noise. Never saw the office open and no coffee available even during started hours. But room was clean and comfortable. My husband did find a maintenance man who brought a baggie of ice for my swollen knee and a fan.

If all you’re looking for is a place to sleep, this hotel is fine. The bed was one of those fold out beds from Amazon, it creaked every time we moved. Walls are paper thin. There was no ice and no coffee. Staff was great and room was clean but the motel definitely needs an upgrade.

I don’t think you’ll find a better place for the price. The room was very basic but very clean. Coffee at the office in the morning, incredibly easy check in and check out. Just perfect for a quick one night at the coast for a concert.

I am a traveling healthcare worker and Sea Echo was the ONLY motel out of 6 that I was trying to get a room at that would allow me to check in early !! I work graveyard and just wanted to sleep before my next 12 hour shift! I am SOOOO greatful. Wonderful service, friendly and caring staff. As I am a HUGE coffee drinker, it’s nice they are right across from a coffee shop “THE HUMAN BEAN”, however having a small coffee pot in the room would make me the happiest!

No Kleenex no ac no coffee in rooms, no counters, not enough outlets

Room was super clean and had been remodeled recently. No chairs. No coffee. Laminate furniture. Small shower. 3rd different hotel in 3 nights, and it pales in comparison to the other two that I paid the same price for. 3 star for value.
