Staybridge Suites Toledo - Rossford - Perrysburg by IHG

Stayed here for a first time and enjoyed it. Stayed in a King/Two Queen suite. Our friends and their son and our sons all loved the space the room had and definitely enjoyed themselves. The suite was roomy and cleaned decently. -Kitchen was decent sized, fridge/freezer clean and worked great. Microwave clean and worked great, dishes clean. Floor could be replaced in places where tiles broken as it could be a hazard because socks kept getting caught on a raised area. The cabinet fronts could really be wiped down better due to showing greasy fingerprints that were not from us. -Living room TV, desk/dressers all need dusted and wiped better. -Bathrooms Shower and tub both were nice, hot water was hot, loved the Dove soaps/creams. -Bedrooms beds comfortable, could use extra blanket/sheet/pillows in the closet for people using the pull out couch. -Breakfast AWESOME definitely one of the best free breakfasts I've had from a hotel. So many choices to pick from and staff were nice and helpful. Pool-Definitely chlorine rich but nice temp and clean. Situated outside the fireplace/grilling area. Building is pretty soundproof, can't really hear traffic other than some loud semi trucks using their jakes. Also couldn't hear people from outside the building(room was 2nd floor by firepit/grilling area. Overall was a great stay and definitely will be back whenever we need to stay in Toledo area again!

It would be nice if they could move the smoking area away from the main entrance. Non smokers do not want to be subjected to secondary smoke every time they walk in and out of the place.

Front desk was great but no housekeeping or garbage service through my 4 night stay. Living room tv don’t work, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash container fell off the wall at 3am. Rodent in bathroom wall that had my dog barking which I received a call (she was very nice) to come get him so I had to leave the hospital. The tub is incredible, the pillows and bed was great! Be aware of time in the pool, no warning they just shut off lights on you at 10pm. No warning.

Coming in and out of the hotel you are hit with cigarette smoke as it is allowed at the entrance of the hotel. They should consider moving it to a place that would not subject everyone to the smoke.

The Staybridge Suites was an ideal place to stay for my family of 5 + 2 grandparents. The free breakfast was substantial and the beds were comfortable. Everyone was super friendly and the cleanliness was much appreciated as I am one to have high standards for that. Also, the outdoor space/seating area was really nice to hang out in. They had a basketball hoop that you can play at if you ask the front desk for a ball. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Never again... pool was gross.. hair balls floating everywhere... oh and we couldn't go to sleep before 2am cause it took that long for the cops to break up the load party on floor above....just save the money and stay somewhere else 🙄

Property was maintained. Staff was efficient and very friendly. Room was great , bed very comfortable and the room was clean. Bonus was nice breakfast and on Monday through Wednesday they serve a little meal for free at supper time. Pool was good, limited towels. Definitely would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Overall a nice hotel with a good breakfast. But the room left something to be desired in cleanliness. The major things like the bed and bathroom were fine (except the refillable soap dispenser in the shower was empty). But we intended to use the pull out sofa bed for our kids. When we opened it, it was absolutely filthy. Stained mattress, dirt, loose candy, and no sheets. Even if sheets had been provided, I would not have let my children sleep on that disgusting mattress.

We were traveling home from a vacation and needed a relaxing night. The suite was well equipped with kitchen and supplies, so we could make our own dinner. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean.

The rooms really need a thorough cleaning. New carpet, good wipe down of front and back of all doors, clean bathroom floors better. Hate to say ,but the rooms look like they get a half a** cleaning. The breakfast and lounge areas are very nice and clean breakfast was great and staff very friendly and responsive

The lobby and outside of this location was decent and appeared clean. The room, however, had dirty Kleenex on the floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, food remnants in the cupboards, a broken coffee pot, dirty towels and a moldy shower. The bed was clean. I'm not sure I will stay at Staybridge again, if I have another choice.

Clean and comfortable bed, but the rooms are tired with carpet showing wear and stains, even visible tack strip where the carpet transitions to the bathroom tile. There’s cracked tiles near the kitchen and the sofa just looks beat up. The rooms just need a refresh. But this is a good location just off I 80, so very convenient if you’re passing through.

Very clean, love the Kitchenette!

The room was awful. There were stains on the box spring. Closet door was broken. Water pressure in the kitchen was horrible. Stools in the kitchen were dirty. Stains on bottom of the ottoman. Did not even stay the night as planned because the room was not worth the money. Dirty. Definitely would not recommend. I’ve stayed in rooms half the price that were much better and clean.

We got a two bedroom suite and one of the rooms didn't have a door. When we asked the front desk they said that they knew. Because they have sliding barn doors that have gaps a person sitting on the couch in the den could see someone on the toliet on the one room

The fold out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We could hear people in the room above, although it didn’t seem like they were super noisy. We were placed in an ADA compliant room (although we did not request it) which had a sliding “barn” door for the bathroom, leaving little to no privacy when using using the restroom, due to the gap between the door and wall, and no lock on the bathroom door. Breakfast and pool were great. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stay was horrible. Got in one room with torn carpet. TVs did not work. Had to pack up everything and move to a new room where the TVs also did not work.

We heard ALOT of commotion above us, people were very noisy... I recommend getting a top floor room.

the rooms were very spacious

While we only stayed one night, all 6 in our party really enjoyed the hotel. We rented a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen and a living area. Aside from a couple small tears in the carpet and a couch that could use an update, it was more than we could have asked for. Beds were super comfy, the hotel was clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The area felt safe and was conveniently located near a gas station and highway entrance. Nice selection for breakfast, but only one meat choice. The only thing that could have made the suite better was a cardtable and chairs to sit around. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were huge. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, & living room. I hate to leave too good of a review as they will probably be booked up with no vacancies.

When we walked into the bedroom of the suite there was a huge bug on the side of the bed staring at us. We figured he snuck in, and since he wasn't inside the sheets we took care of him and continued getting ready for bed. When we got into bed, the sheets felt slightly damp. We weren't sure if it was the humidity or something else. It was late and we didn't want to fuss with getting another room, so we just wore long pants and a sweatshirt to bed. Throughout the night we heard the guests above us flush the toilet and run the water several times. Needless to say, it wasn't our best night's sleep. In the morning when we went to shower, trying to get consistent hot water was a struggle. Also, pushing the handle warmer made the shower squeal. Finally, the lights and outlets in the kitchen weren't functioning properly. Ony half the outlets actually worked, and some of the lights just flickered when you switched them on. This hotel is tired.

In need of some updates. Upholstery on couch was worn through. Carpet was in rough shape at edge of bathroom entrance.

The property was beautiful and my room was emmaculate. You can tell my room was actually cleaned and it takes me a while to get comfy in a hotel but I warmed up pretty quick here. Shopping and dining was literally like 5 min up the road. Loved the seclusion of the hotel yet closeness to shopping. Rashanna at the front desk was AMAZING!!! She was very helpful answering questions a week prior to my trip and during my trip She was soo friendly and personable and you can tell she is just that way naturally and she also loves what she does! The lady that made the breakfast every morning unfortunately I did not catch her name, she has reddish brown hair she was amazing and very friendly as well. She made you feel like you were eating breakfast at a relatives house, homey vibes. Gabby is housekeeping was amazing and friendly as well! I would highly recommend this hotel. :)

Main reason for low review os our room wasnt ready for 3pm as ot should be ... we didnt get in our room till 6pm 3 hours late is unacceptable

This was a great trip and a very good experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed.

Due to flight cancellation from Chicago to Detroit on Friday evening, I had to drive to Northwest Ohio for an 8am event on Saturday. The front desk was notified that I would arrive after 2:30am. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk to check me in for nearly 30 minutes, and then they couldn't find my reservation which was paid in full ahead of time. Very frustrating to wait for service after a long day of travel.

Staff was very accommodating Had issues with bedroom TV and they came and fixed with a new box right away! Very clean

The front desk was only manned in the afternoon. There was a 6:30 fire alarm going off for 20 minutes and no one was around to advise what was going on. Finally, after 20 minutes, I located someone at the front desk and they said there was no fire and the fire department was on the way to shut off the alarm. It was 50 degrees out, little kids were barefoot and in their pajamas. Someone should have been letting people know what was going on. Very poorly handled.

We called the hotel that we would be checking in very late. On arrival no one was at the desk. We waited for 15 minutes and called customer service. The clerk finally showed up, irritated at us! The bed was saggy and uncomfortable. Breakfast did not have all of the items ( bread for toast) and the sausages were cold. Coffee was weak and awful tasting. Not worth over $200! Ridiculous.

The staff, from the front desk to the kitchen were incredibly kind, helpful and professional! They went above and beyond accommodating my family and other guests! Highly recommend.

I didn't like that my room wasn't ready until 5pm when my check in was 3pm. I paid in advance and should have been offered a discount and something off my stay because of the inconvenience it caused my family. I also had to ask for sheets for my daughter's double sofa bed. They wasn't in the room. The excuse i wasn't given was that they are under staffed.

Super close to everything

The staff was extra friendly and nice. I had issues with the tv. I couldn’t get a signal so one of the receptionists came up to reset the tv. It worked fine until the next day when it needed to be reset again. Oddly, the clocks in the room weren’t set (not even the microwave). Perhaps, there was some type of outage. Lastly, we didn’t sleep well. We could hear traffic throughout the night.

Close to highway

Traveling with a dog, lots of grass and a sidewalk for walking around the hotel. Very easy access from 80/90, and lots of food options within 15 minutes

The room accommodations was spacious, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast, unfortunately was not up to par. I am well travelled and have been to many hotels that offer free breakfast. I don’t expect five star quality meals, however I also don’t expect burnt tasteless eggs, and moldy bread and bagels. Definitely not worth the extra money for a free inedible meal.

We enjoyed our stay at Staybridge Suites. Easy check in and out, very clean, great breakfast. Nice mid point between Hollywood Casino and Port Clinton to go over to Put-in-Bay.

Free breakfast is the morning is outstanding. Best breakfast ever at a hotel that I have stayed at over the years.

Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was bad and soda dispenser not working. For $265 for a one-night stay we’d expect something better than dry, overcooked sausage and mediocre powdered eggs for breakfast.

We had an amazing stay here- the room was immaculate, our kids loved the pool, and the breakfast buffet was the best we’ve seen on our trip! Everyone who worked here was friendly and helpful, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

They moved breakfast to 7:30 and we had to leave each morning by 6:45 therefore we didn’t get breakfast and that’s part of the reason I booked the room
