Really great views from those rooms on high floors, we were on floor 30 and it was great. Cleanliness especially in the swimming pool sauna area was poor and we did report it to guest services as dirty underwear was left strewn across changing facilities, there were no towels and the hairdryer wasn’t working for example. Breakfast and particular was great and a tip is to try and get there early to get a window seat.

Staff seemed slow and highly strung. Never enough people on checkin/check out. Roof top bar closed. Bokan restaurant had a strange fish smell. Sauna was out of order. Door in bedroom badly designed. Made a loud noise every time trying to close it.

Great hotel with a pool and a sauna! Beautiful rooms with a nice view on the Canary Wharf. We liked how clean and tidy it was. I recommend this hotel to someone who would like a getaway from the daily routine with addition of amazing pool and gym.

Amazing hotel for a short break- fantastic rooms and views! The food, bar and staff were fantastic. The pool was a little cold and the queues for the lifts were only slight negatives.

Nice hotel and location was perfect for what I needed...was walking distance to where I was coming from and where I needed to be. The room was nice and clean and had excellent views to south of the river. The restaurant had an even better view. I was disappointed with the leisure facilities, in particular the size of the pool...it only took a couple of strokes to get from the top to the bottom. Another downer was the changing facilities...in the ladies changing room there was only a single shower and that was located in the disabled toilet. Obviously, priority is given to disabled people to use the area, but those who are not don't have an alternative (stripping off to shower at poolside isn't really an option 😱). If you are paying them for breakfast, and you want a continental or pancakes, tell them before they swipe your card as they will automatically charge for the full English (which is the most expensive option). Would I stay there again... absolutely - the pluses outweigh the minuses.

this was our second tie past two years.me staying here in the past two years. the staff are exceptional. One stand out was Antonella, one of the breakfast hostess/supervisor. She was observant, efficient and most of all very friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff are terrific. The all you can eat full English breakfast is enough to make you want to stay here. the views are amazing from the top floor bar and restaurant. We had a couple of minor glitches which were taken care of with a phone call to the front desk Our only real complaint was, it seemed almost every day the housekeeping staff missed something, no towels one day no milk and coffee the next, etc. rather than complaining it was simpler to just make a phone call to the front desk, we would have whatever we needed within minutes We stayed in one of the Executive suites which was nicely furnished and comfortable. Room service was prompt Overall the terrific staff made up for the occasional shortcoming.

Only one English Breakfast tea bag in room on arrival Room not cleaned even though ‘clean room’ sign left out which meant no teabags or coffee available again when got back to room. Called down to reception but no answer so had to go to reception myself only to be given two teabags. Check in was quick and easy. Lift to our floor was quick. Room was much more than expected. We booked a double but added a request if a double was available, it would be preferred and our request was completed so we found ourselves in our preferred room type with an amazing view of the London sky line too! The bathroom was clean, room was comfy and clean. Can’t fault our stay here, would go back again

For a hotel that’s meant to be high star there was no toothpaste or any body cream, the shower head was dirty with limescale, the vent in the bathroom is dusty. The surface of the table by the tv was dusty. We were only given one towel. This has to be one of the worse hotels I’ve ever stayed at

The lady on reception was especially friendly and helpful (I think she was from Italy) she was a credit to the hotel! The room was clean and spacious. The only negative was that the pool water was dirty as there was lots of tissue/paper in the pool. I was unsure if the filter was not working properly? Other than that minor issue, I would highly recommend the hotel and surrounding area 🙂

Overall a good hotel in a convenient location for public transport. We arrived during an immigration protest- it was peaceful but worth noting the hotel across the road is being used to accommodate immigrants. The bed was comfortable although the carpets were dirty and the pool didn't appear to be well maintained with quite a lot of hair present. The sauna was great and the bar food was decent, though the main restaurant was closed when we arrived on a Sunday.

Room was ok, expected it to be a bit larger considering I upgraded, but for me personally what the biggest let down was the TV did not have any streaming apps not even Netflix which was very disappointing as the TV itself was large and a good brand but wasted as I had to watch standard channels. Staff were exceptional very friendly and approachable.

Handy location and pleasant, efficient staff. The room was adequate but needs more attention to detail for the price point. Bed and bedding are thin, tired and more of a Travelodge standard, curtains don't close sufficiently to block out light, shower extremely low pressure, shower gel and other toiletries were not adequately stocked.

Lovely hotel, modern decor throughout and well kept. Fantastic views of the city and well located near to Canary Wharf. The only downside was that the room was so hot, our first room we couldn't get the inside temperature down from 27c which lead to a very uncomfortable nights sleep due to a faulty air con. The hotel did provide us a fan which helped a little. For the second night they moved us into another room which we appreciated but unfortunately it was a similar story though this room was slightly cooler at around 25c. Again the fan was helpful. I would stay here again but they need to do something about the temperature of the rooms.

Was an awful stay, rude staff, pool area and changing rooms were dirty, constant noise coming from the air vent and window of the room, also was not told of the protest that was going on outside on one of the days, police officers were in and out of the hotel, barricades were put up around the hotel. It was the worst weekend away I have ever had.

Wonderful hospitality from reservation booking request , start to finish. Check-in was smooth, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the room exceeded expectations in cleanliness and comfort. The swimming pool was beautifully maintained and provided a relaxing atmosphere. A great experience overall!

Second time staying here. The room was lovely. A few small issues that affected the scoring. First of all, the tv mirroring does not work, had issues connecting a fire stick to the WiFi as well. The in room tv lost signal as well Did not matter as was only staying the one night but was disappointing for such a nice hotel. Main issue was the random staff member coming into our room 10 minutes after checking in and asking if the room needed cleaning. Did not seem like they wanted to leave the room at all. Finally left after 3-4 minutes. Seriously unprofessional. Such a shame as most of the staff were lovely and the hotel itself is stunning. Will think twice about staying here again in the future.

We were welcomed by all the staff who saw us which was lovely. We were given information and tips on where to eat and drink as well as clear instructions on room services. This was my fourth visit to Novotel Canary Wharf, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. My only regret was not staying longer. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly valued. TJ at reception greeted me warmly and answered every question with ease, while Kevin came to my rescue when I dropped my ring in the sink- his kindness and patience were greatly appreciated. Breakfast was a daily highlight- not only for the breathtaking panoramic views, but also for Barbara’s attentive and friendly service. The facilities are excellent. I made full use of the gym each day, returning to a spotless room with fresh towels, a neatly made bed, and a fridge stocked with water. I made full use of the gym each day, returning to a spotless room with fresh towels, a neatly made bed, and a fridge stocked with water. Really enjoyed the stay. Hotel is 10/10 with incredible views of London. There’s not a lot of late night options around but there’s a handful of great restaurants for dinner options. Great stay for O2 arena events.

Nice modern hotel , our view out towards Central London was pretty impressive. Be aware the hotel does have a fence round the outside due to the ongoing protests at the hotel opposite but this no fault of the hotel. Staff friendly enough but not particularly engaging. No asking the purpose of our trip or any upsell attempts on check in for dinner or breakfast. Didn’t sleep very well with water heard running through a pipe multiple times in the night. Went to make tea in the morning, to discover the milk left in the tea tray had best before dates of May 25 and August 25 , called down, no apology but assured more would be sent up. 20 minutes later we were delivered more but again it still had the same dates on ! Called down again , apology this time and was promised more would be sent again but no luck after 20 minutes. I had to go down myself to chase up and fresh milk was eventually delivered. Not the best start to the morning and not a good lasting impression ! Again no feedback sought on check out , just took the keys off of us. Also came back for a drink before we departed , disappointing to hear who we assume the head bartender say to the other ‘don’t make me angry again’. Unsure why the comment was made but I wouldn’t expect any staff member to be spoken to like that. In summary an ok stay but needs to be better when the price tag is £200+ per night.

I stayed here to go to the O2 so it is very convenient to get there on the underground. Nice hotel with a great view out across London and rooftop bar. Nice breakfast in the panoramic restaurant. Very comfy bed with nice pillows!!

Overall a good hotel in a convenient location for public transport. We arrived during an immigration protest- it was peaceful but worth noting the hotel across the road is being used to accommodate immigrants. The bed was comfortable although the carpets were dirty and the pool didn't appear to be well maintained with quite a lot of hair present. The sauna was great and the bar food was decent, though the main restaurant was closed when we arrived on a Sunday.

Overall, it was an okay stay. Upon arrival, we were told the A/C was faulty due to the extreme weather conditions and while this wasn’t ideal, we accepted it was out of their hands. They offered to provide fans which was helpful; however, it took a while for the fan to arrive. After numerous calls to reception and then going downstairs to request a fan again in person, it finally arrived. The hotel duty manager was very helpful in his handling of a situation out of their hands however, the same can’t be said for other staff. Overall, the experience was okay although I probably will never go to another Novotel based on this experience. For the money spent, ‘okay’ simply isn’t good enough. The Bokan 37 restaurant staff were a welcome positive to our stay. Very friendly, communicative and timely with their service. Were it not for the restaurant, this would have been a poor experience.
