The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean and we had a great view. We had breakfast included and the selection was fab! The rooftop bar is lovely - we went up during the afternoon when the sun was shining and it was perfect. My only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 overall was because I’d asked for a couple of favours to make the room extra special for my fiance as it was his birthday but they weren’t very helpful. It was a short notice booking though so I’m sure this may have been different had they had more notice.

Have stayed at this hotel approx 6 times. It’s gradually gone down hill. The lifts are constantly breaking down and when you have 39 floors you can be waiting ages for one to stop on your floor. Pool is nice but poolside shower wasn’t working in December and still not fixed April. Staff joke about the lifts but two of our party got stuck in the lift twice over a weekend stay. Of course the city views from some rooms and the roof top bar are stunning but sadly company has not invested in keeping this hotel 4 stars.

The room was great. Very clean and tidy. The bathroom had a foul odour in it that we couldn’t get rid of. The staff are lovely and helpful. The pool/sauna area was also great to be able to use during our stay. Thank you
