Beautiful hotel with a friendly and professional staff. The atrium housed a comfortable bar area on one side, with the restaurant on the other side. My travelmate gave the spa high marks. It's located within walking distance of most of the Siracusa points of interest.

Oasi di pace e di relax in edificio storico situato sulla splendida isola di Ortigia. La junior suite vista mare è ampia ed è disposta su due livelli con ben tre ambienti dedicati al bagno. Letto comodissimo e riassetto serale della stanza. Area relax spa davvero grande e con pochi clienti. La colazione a buffet è ricca e varia. Il personale della colazione è sempre molto gentile. Unica appunto: dovrebbero appoggiarsi a un servizio NCC o tassista di fiducia anche per tratte brevi, tipo verso Neapolis e verso la stazione. Il taxi chiamato dall'albergo ha osato chiederci 20€ per 4 minuti di viaggio verso la stazione, senza tassametro. La reception dovrebbe curare meglio questi aspetti.

There were ants in our first floor bathroom. They sent someone to clean and take care of them. They essentially just left them on the ground dead. Hotel was nice. No complimentary bikes to use per website. Pool can only be used with kids 2 hrs per day allotted time.

The best (perhaps the only) luxury hotel in Ortigia. Excellent location on the sea within walking distance to the everything. Very nice rooms. We had a Garamond Jr. Suite. The staff is super friendly and sleep good English. Service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was very nice (€50 if you prepay it). Valet parking available (€40). The only complaints we had were that the pillows were not comfortable, the mattress was super firm, there was no comforter (only a thin blanket), and that may things were not functioning. For example there were two awnings in our balcony and one could not be opened. The pool has pretty mosaics but no chairs to rest near the pool. Hamas/steam room and some of the showers didn’t work. The pool has nice chairs inside the pool with spa jets but none of them worked. Still in spite of all that we would defiantly stay there again since it’s the only luxury hotel in town

This is a lovely hotel, with an exceptional staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, and kind. We loved the bicycles that were available to rent! We had a great time tooling around Ortigia and Siricusa although scary at times!

It's a very cool hotel that used to be a post office, so there is an interesting mix of old and new building design. Overall, the room we stayed in was very elegant with high ceilings, velvet curtains and chairs, and antique furniture, with modern technology and bathrooms. The location is great -- just over the bridge which makes it easy to get on and off Ortigia -- and within easy walking distance of all the things to do and see on the island. The only downside is parking which is near impossible to find on your own, so we paid the 40 Euros a day to valet park. Also, the front desk is sorely understaffed, which meant we were always waiting for help. A hotel like this should not have one person working the front desk during check out!

Food: Judging from breakfast, restaurant probably very good. In conclusion: If the bathroom was larger and better, it would truly be a 5-star experience, otherwise I feel it's only 4-star.

Pour résumer au mois de janvier le chauffage ne marchait pas dans notre chambre qui n'était pas le premier prix on nous a proposé une deuxième couette. Insonorisation de la chambre avec le couloir inexistante. La douche fuyait dans toutes la salle de bain les contenants shampooing et apres shampooing de la douche étaient vide. Le petit déjeuner a lieu dans le hall d'entrée.

We had such a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were always welcoming and treated us so well. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was located in an excellent location: bus to airport was a 10min walk away; bars, restaurants and shops just a short stroll; it was also very quiet so not disturbed at all. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Syracuse

Hotel realmente de luxo, com excelente atendimento em todos os lugares (recepção, restaurantes e spa). Localização privilegiada, próximo de restaurantes e pontos de interesse. Ficamos hospedados num apartamento lindo, enorme e moderno. Utilizamos o estacionamento em frente ao hotel, muitíssimo mais barato do que o serviço de valet.
Hotel realmente de luxo, com excelente atendimento em todos os lugares (recepção, restaurantes e spa). Localização privilegiada, próximo de restaurantes e pontos de interesse. O hotel é bem estruturado e bem localizado. Os quartos são pequenos e só cabem camas casal comum ou queen. O hotel tem muitos quartos e pouco pessoal para um hotel 5 estrelas. Atendimento lento no café da manhã, na recepção e não porteiro tempo integral. Temos que carregar as malas.

Anna checked in with me before we arrived. She upgraded our room and provided us with tips on how to get around the neighborhood. Had a great dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Food, atmosphere and service was top notch. Concetta gave us a great check out experience. This hotel is very modern and updated. It’s very close to the old town for eating drinking and shopping.

Beautiful hotel, but lacks service. We had several issues with the hotel from being locked in the bathroom (they had to break the door to open) to another room flooding out. It was all handled, but no apology from the managment or anything. Wrote hotel and only received an immediate response from Marriott, not Ortea.

The best (perhaps the only) luxury hotel in Ortigia. Excellent location on the sea within walking distance to the everything. Very nice rooms. We had a Garamond Jr. Suite. The staff is super friendly and sleep good English. Service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was very nice (€50 if you prepay it). Valet parking available (€40). The only complaints we had were that the pillows were not comfortable, the mattress was super firm, there was no comforter (only a thin blanket), and that may things were not functioning. For example there were two awnings in our balcony and one could not be opened. The pool has pretty mosaics but no chairs to rest near the pool. Hamas/steam room and some of the showers didn’t work. The pool has nice chairs inside the pool with spa jets but none of them worked. Still in spite of all that we would defiantly stay there again since it’s the only luxury hotel in town

This is a lovely hotel, with an exceptional staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, and kind. We loved the bicycles that were available to rent! We had a great time tooling around Ortigia and Siricusa although scary at times!

Beautiful historical building with common areas that have a “wow” factor. Room was specious and had a view of the water. Everything on the island is walkable. Enjoyed being in proximity to the market and shopping. Only minor piece of feedback was this was the one and only hotel during our trip to Sicily that did not provide complimentary breakfast. Seems like that could be considered given the price of the room.

We had such a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were always welcoming and treated us so well. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was located in an excellent location: bus to airport was a 10min walk away; bars, restaurants and shops just a short stroll; it was also very quiet so not disturbed at all. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Syracuse

Lovely staff at the check-in desk who were so welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast was great and made to order options included was a nice bonus! The rooms were beautiful and clean. Easy to notice since everything is white. Self parking is just in front of the hotel. It’s a public lot and 15 Euros for 24 hours. Hotel will register your car for you with the municipality. There’s valet but not worth it when you can literally walk outside and get into your car yourself and go. Location is central to many sites and easy to navigate. Only downside was that it was a bit warm in the rooms. Thankfully the windows open and it was cool outside during our late May visit. Overall we would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Pour résumer au mois de janvier le chauffage ne marchait pas dans notre chambre qui n'était pas le premier prix on nous a proposé une deuxième couette. Insonorisation de la chambre avec le couloir inexistante. La douche fuyait dans toutes la salle de bain les contenants shampooing et apres shampooing de la douche étaient vide. Le petit déjeuner a lieu dans le hall d'entrée.

The in-room WiFi wasn’t working and they said it wouldn’t be working. That the in-room was a third party and they had no control!! Out coffee table was about to fall apart. Maintenance did come to try and save it but they couldn’t. So we had to live with it for the duration of our stay. The bar was never staffed and we had to go search for someone to assist. This is not a 5 star or 4 star hotel. It is in desperate need of help
