Stayed 1 night

A nice, bright (double aspect windows) apartment in a very quiet close, on the edge of Cambridge. Clean and fairly well appointed (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine, iron and board). No hairdryer as far as I can see. TV and Virgin box. Comfortable bed (I do hate poor mattresses) was a blessing. I'm sure that before booking it claimed to have parking, because I declined several other properties because they had no parking. However in the confirmation they stated that parking is on the street and is limited, which is due to the nature of modern estate design. However the location is at the very end of a close, there's no through traffic, and I was able to park right outside. It's 3 or 4 miles to the centre of town, fairly easy drive for Cambridge. There's a very big Tesco within a mile, if needed. Don't go there as a noisy late night group. I was solo, and was out until 11pm at the Corn Exchange to see a gig. I sat using my phone with the TV on at a moderate level (IMHO) but got some terse knocking on the wall or ceiling from below after midnight. It really wasn't loud, but I guess modern build often comes with limited sound insulation. Not a big deal for me, I wasn't going to be watching much longer anyway, but I imagine some groups of people might find that they have an issue.

Wasn't expecting any parking but found it easy to park in a visitor's bay, after checking with a local resident. Nice to have tea, coffee & biscuits too. Thank you.

Did the job for a one night stay. Just used the beds / bathroom but looked reasonable equipped. Will use again when back in Cambridge.
