First time staying here. Was worried it was just a little too far from the beach but it really wasn’t! Lots of restaurants around and shopping. It was clean. Wine and cookie hour was nice. The indoor pool and outside hot tub was clean and nice. Will be back.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Cannot beat the amenities. Free off street parking, free breakfast daily, free coffee and tea all day, free shuttle to the beach, free beach towel service, free beach chair service, really nice fitness center, and a really nice hot tub! Great location near all the boulevard shopping and restaurants, and a short drive to Tanger outlets. Highly recommend.

My family loves staying at The Avenue, it is easily our favorite hotel in Rehoboth. We love how clean it is, easy to park, amazing location, lobby smells amazing, great amenities including the gym, pool and roof top deck with hot tub. Breakfast is delicious, and every night they bake chocolate chip cookies for the guests. If you run out of any toiletries or need free & clear detergent to do laundry they provide that for you. Everyone that works there are so kind, we never utilized the beach chairs or the golf cart chauffeur service but it looks like guests love that as well! Fantastic hotel, we will be back!

Did not stay in the main hotel. The room was big and comfortable but the don’t vacuum very well, don’t move long coffee table, gross stuff under it or clean bathroom sink drain, wouldn’t drain so pulled it out and it was caked with gross stuff. Other than that everything was wonderful.

We were lied to about having a balcony. That is why I was staying at this hotel was because it had a balcony. And it doesn't have one, and then I leave a message saying that we have an anniversary and it was completely ignored. And while staying there, seeing other people that had things done for their anniversary. Was pretty upsetting and for 500 a night i shouldn't be seeing black mold in the shower.overpriced and over rated

The Avenue II part of the property smelled moldy, the old-fashioned type keys were hard to work, and even though it was built as a motel, the high price should’ve included more upgrades

Positives: Arrived earlier than check in to take advantage of the parking to hit the beach before checking in and we were able to get into our room earlier than check in. Breakfast was fantastic, every option you can think of. Wine and cheese was fun and something different. Beach chairs and ride to beach were nice bonus. We stayed at the II but it was quiet despite being next to purple parrot although it was a weekday. Easy checkout. Walkable to beach and other fun stuff. Negatives: Front desk staff had passive aggressive attitudes at times. Received a big orange sticker notice of parking violation/going to be towed, plastered to the side of my driver's window because I forgot to put the pass up - would have thought they'd check license plate first. Unfortunately I couldn't scrape off the sticker due to extreme heat and had to drive back to PA which became a safety concern until I could stop and purchase razor blade scraper to get it off. Parking lot small and extremely tight to get in and out. Last, the room could have been cleaner such as fridge/microwave had not been wiped down, walls and baseboards were also dirty/dusty.

This hotel has so many amenities from the complimentary breakfast to the daily wine&cheese hour to milk&cookies at night which both adults and kids LOVED to the close distance to the beach with the luxury of having a buggy to drive you one block without having to carry the beach chairs. Did I mention the warm salt water pool and sauna which you can enjoy after coming out from the pool. The rooms were spacious as we stayed at two different types of rooms, both of which have a sitting room. The staffs were friendly. We were so glad to have chosen The Avenue Inn. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. We would come back again next time!

Clean and convenient. Only downside was my King Room faced a bar with a live band, * and not the best music, if i'm being honest. If you had kids in the room it would have been a problem. Otherwise, perfect stay, great beach town.

We chose the Avenue as a special treat for our trip. After confirming, I received an email stating we would be staying at the Avenue II, which is not the main hotel but down the street and next to a bar which may be noisy. When we checked in, the main hotel is beautiful and the staff perfectly pleasant. The Avenue II is a motel down the street. For the price we paid I was disappointed by the lack of amenities at the property itself. You had to walk to the main hotel for anything. The room was neat and clean, the bed was comfortable. We could not keep the room at a comfortable temperature despite the AC on full blast 24/7 and therefore did not sleep well. The bathroom was located at the back of the room and was not ventilated. It was excessively warm and carried an odor. The morning of check out I found what looked like a cockroach however when I showed the front desk I was told it was a “water bug”. We could hear a lot of street noise and some from the bar next door, but nothing that couldn’t be drowned out with a white noise machine. The location is ideal, can walk to anything. Overall it was a very mediocre, motel-8-feeling accommodation for which we paid four star hotel prices. We do not plan to return when I know there are superior accommodations in the area at the same, or cheaper, price point.

The room was fine except the location of the bed. The heating and air conditioner system was right next to the bed and a small dresser. When the air was on it blew directly in my face. They need to change the layout of room 301 and switch the bed and the larger dresser.

We came to celebrate our anniversary. We were welcomed by Ashley and checked in early. Everything was so clean the aroma from the spa was nice. The only things we didn’t like were the view from the balcony. We didn’t sit out on balcony at all. The other thing is the king bed felt like a box spring no comfort at all. We actually hurt both mornings we woke up.

I've stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and it is always excellent. The main lobby is warm and inviting. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well apportioned. I would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area for leisure or business.

We have stayed at The Avenue numerous times and this experience was different in terms of service. Our room\'s air conditioner did not work, and we requested it to be fixed several times by maintenence and the GM. It was never fixed, nor was there any follow up by the GM. When I was asked about how our stay was at checkout, i explained the A/C challenge only to be asked if we reported it. I stated that we did. The response that I received was" would you like your ereceopt printed or emailed?"

Great spot to be close to beach and Boardwalk, plus many other restaurants and entertainment. The Hotel itself has great amenities with breakfast included, cookies in the evening, fire pit to enjoy drink around, and so much more. Very comfortable and right in the heart of everything. IF you want sleepy quiet location, this is not it. enjoy being in the middle of everything, then you will want to be in this place. Parking on site is huge in this area, because parking is so scarce.

The staff at the Avenue Inn and Day Spa are always relaxed, helpful and welcoming. They and the ambiance always brings calm to every visit. I always enjoy the rooftop hot tub and indoor pool. Just tried the Blue Hen for dinner and it was delicious! The breakfast buffet is also spectacular. was thrilled with the baked pears!

My absolute favorite place to stay in Rehobeth!! Went down for my birthday weekend and had an AMAZING dinner at the Blue Hen and got a couples massage at the Apothecary Spa next store!! Top notch service at this hotel and a really good free breakfast buffet. Will definitely be going back!!

Great property. This was our fifth stay. Quiet and clean rooms. Only negative this trip was breakfast. Normally very good. Not this trip. Only ham as meat option. Only juice was tomato. No regular coffee. Would stay here again and again.

After many stays, the hot breakfast continues to disappoint. If you are going to provide food put thought, pride and care into preparing it. Any way the eggs are cooked is always disappointing.... dry, tasteless, some kind of cheese substitute.... the kitchen can do better.

Everything was great - rooms, common areas, staff, 24hr coffee bar. One terrible thing is the sad breakfast and the sad guy who serves it to you, it’s a buffet but not self-serve.
