We loved staying here. Breakfast was amazing every morning. There was a ton of space in our room with 2 queen beds and then a fold out couch in the living room. The kitchenette was nice and the full size fridge was plenty big. My only complaint is the pool is a bit small and can feel very packed when busy. There’s also no loungers at the pool. Only metal chairs and tables and 2 umbrellas over the only 2 picnic tables at the pool so shade was limited and tanning was impossible. We still enjoyed ourselves though

I always try to book at a Homewood Suites when traveling. It's my favorite hotel. BUT I am DISAPPOINTED that I am now being charged for Parking. In the past, since it was self-parking, there was no charge, and now it's $15.00 a night and it's still self-parking. So sad. I may have to search and find a hotel that doesn't charge parking for my future trips.

Staff was professional. Hotel was very clean with lots of attention to guest. They provided social hour with drinks and snacks, which was a wonderful surprise. The complementary breakfast had many options and all were great. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and all very clean. The pool was great for the littles and the basketball court was the best for our teen boys. The beach is just walking distance. The only con is having to pay for parking.

Hotel was nice and it was being cleaned a lot, but dodging the cleaning staff in the common areas was challenging. However, we asked for more shampoo and shower gel to be refilled in the bathroom, completely out, when we left for lunch and an event when we came back at 6 no one had refilled it and was told the cleaning staff was gone for the day. Besides that the hotel was worth the savings. I would stay here again. Staff was friendly, pool was nice, basketball court was great and gym has a Peloton! All in all would rate it 8/10

The room was in very poor sanitary condition. As soon as I entered, I found an unknown red mark on the switch. I wiped it off with toilet paper despite my nausea. There were black marks all over the wall. Unknown liquid was leaking from the bottom of the toilet. There were long hairs on the floor in the shower. If I hadn't already paid for 3 nights, I would have left immediately. It's hard to imagine this is a Hilton brand hotel.

Absolutely terrible from the start. It took 4 hours to get my room. She said they were trying to get it clean. Well we finally get in and theres still hamburger meat in the floor. Not a huge deal. But we unpacked and went to bed. Woke up itchy the next morning, couldn't figure out why. But went to breakfast that morning. It was gross, everything is fake food. Eggs, gravey and potatoes were not edible. But McDonald's was close. No big deal. On to the 2nd morning, we wake up with bites all over us. 3 adults and 4 kids. Covered in red bites. Yes bed bugs! They were all along the mattress and the border on the walls!!! I told the people downstairs and his response was: its not his problem! Absolutely terrible hotel. Im in a hotel almost every weekend! Hilton is off my list

Fault of workers involved in cleaning, shower door not washed for sure because when it got steamy in the bathroom you could see writing on the shower door from previous customer, walls of the shower had leftover hear and soap holder totally not cleaned from previous customer. Makes you wonder about things you can't see. I really expected a clean place taking in consideration that the room coster over 400$ per night unfortunately. I'm hoping management can do something about it. Place looked fairly new and clean other places.

When we arrived for check in the lobby was filled with different groups of people, unsure what was going on. When we checked in we were told our room was not ready, it was just past check in time. We had a wedding rehearsal to get to and calmly and kindly explained that. We were told to wait in the lobby with everyone else. We waited over an hour before rooms became available. When we got to our room O pulled back our sheets and there was blood on the sheets. We went to the desk to talk to them and were told, sorry but we were in a hurry to get rooms done as everyone was waiting. Eeeew! The ceiling in the lobby areas was cut open due to some water issues I believe. The area around the hotel was abandoned and not exactly safe feeling.

Not very happy with cleanliness. Carpets looked dirty. Walls and wallpaper need a big updating. I definitely didn't wanna walk around barefooted. The couch in the bedroom was dirty. Mattresses on the beds were uncomfortable. Sheets were clean, but I overall felt dirty staying there. The only positive thing was the breakfast. There was a pillowcase in the middle of the hallway when we checked in and it was still there when we checked out.

Great room Very spacious It would be nice to have a table and chairs to eat at. Also did not know you charged for parking which in my opinion should be free since we were staying at the hotel. Breakfast was not great but was edible. We passed after trying it once.

Shower was clogged, but besides that, we enjoyed our stay. It's just not ideal to shower in a puddle of water. The breakfast was very good and the pool was surprisingly good as well. If shower was not backed up, and staff was a little more attentive, I'd give it 5 stars for overall value. We will be back to see how next round treats us. Easy walk to Stewart Beach.

Good clean suite. But basketball court is too close to the rooms. Very noisy when people are playing basketball day and night. Court should be moved to the end of the hotel parking lot.

The stay was inconvenient. The first room we were in had an electrical problem so we had to switch rooms. Also, we did not get good enough sleep. The curtains did not close all the way and when the sun came up it blinded us. There needs to be some black out curtains.

The shower gel and shampoo were empty. Furniture was very worn and beat up. Could seriously use some attention. For the price of the room I expected that the provided soaps would be filled and the furniture to be in good condition. Tv stand was falling apart. Couch seat leaned back and fallin in towards the back. Plastic was pealing off bed frame.

There was no advance notice of $15 parking. You can stay at hotel but not park unless you pay or be towed. No manager available. The ceiling fan was so loud couldn’t use. The refrigerator was loud could not sleep. Microwave kept popping the breaker and wouldn’t work so I couldn’t warm up my food. I asked for a manager when checking out but she hadn’t arrived, running late.

The property was clean and close to the beach. Theyafe is all wait to check in until 4 so we waited in line a half hour to get checked in. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor.

I booked a room for myself, my husband, and three kids. The front desk staff member was very nice and check in was speedy. But It would have been great to have been given enough linen up front for all of us. Perhaps even just enough pillows for five people. (We had four) I did call the front desk and ask for additional linens, my husband even went to the front desk and offered to pick them up and take them back to the room. We were told someone would bring them, but no one ever showed. There weren't even linens available in the room for the fold out couch nor did we ever receive any. It was a little after midnight when we arrived and at someone point we just gave up waiting and fell asleep on what we had available. I don't typically leave a bad review but I was so disappointed in the experience, especially in a Hilton hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean, however, I was not told until check in that you have to pay an additional cost to park your car at the hotel overnight. Also, had to wait longer than 10mins to check in and check out the next day. Whoever was working up front was not available.

It was pouring rain when I walked in at 10pm, and the staff was there with a towel to greet me so I could dry off some while checking in. The hotel was quite, and like an apartment inside the room, with a very clean appearance. Would highly recommend!!

The room and location are perfect. I wish I could stay longer. Charging for self parking in an average, hotel parking lot with plenty of spaces seems like a silly way to charge more money; just increase your room rate by $20/night and let the market decide if you're worth it. Also, the check-in line today was ridiculous. It wrapped around the lobby for at least 2 hours. I saw it at 4:30 today, and decided to walk on the beach for 45 minutes, hoping it would have dissipated by the time I returned. Nope.

I have stayed all over the road & have NEVER stayed at a more dirty property. I will be contacting corporate Hilton also. This place was by far DISGUSTING DIRTY & I have pictures to prove it. It was expensive & over rated & over priced. The staff was unpleasant & rude & lied about the rooms they had & the times they were ready. Ridiculous & terrible experience!

Beautiful, newish hotel across the street from the beach. Easy walk to restore and shopping. Close to start of Seawall and the Strand and UTMB campus. Complete breakfast with lots of choices.

We stayed here for one night prior to catching a cruise, and we were delighted by the quality of the hotel. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The only “complaint” I could possibly lodge is that the scrambled eggs were a bit too salty and there wasn’t too much to do in walking distance. It was conveniently located to a Walgreens, but not too much else. (We’re from Michigan and are NOT used to this humidity!)

The property is near Stewart Beach and walking distance to The Strand. The room was clean and the view of the Gulf was spectacular. Only annoyance was the air conditioner being very loud. Nonetheless, I would stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Great room and view of the ocean. Check in was easy and painless. But if you want service with a smile this may not be your place. However the room only had one wash cloth and then I discovered eating breakfast without a fork can be a challenge. There weren’t any forks at breakfast many guests were puzzled. I asked the front desk manager and he went to check and the employee tending the breakfast area said there was none. So bring your silverware from your room and problem solved.

The rooms are huge, but there were no vents in the bathroom so mold was all over the ceiling. The hotel is nice, breakfast was terrible and the guests, when I went, were 200lbs over weight and fighting for powdered eggs because they didn’t have enough food for the hotel guests. May stay here again, but my experience wasn’t the best. Worst part is $20 for parking and the parking lot is huge.

My hubby and I just stayed for 3 nights with our golden doodle and labradane. The suite was PERFECT and very clean! The staff was so kind to our large boys! Even have treats in the lobby for them. Two outdoor walking areas as well. The breakfast was among the best you will see with a large selection. The bed was very comfortable! The hotel is close to everything including Menard off-leash dog park. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

The location is great and the front desk staff were very helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. However the property and customer service were lacking. (1) the pool is small, only 4 feet deep, and not clear. We could not see our feet because the water was so cloudy. There were also no lounge chairs. (2) we requested clean towels and trash service 2 times during our stay and never received it. Additonally, we were told a room clean could not happen either. (3) there was a right angle tear in our bottom sheet on one of the beds. (4) breakfast was OK - the juice was very watered down and food didn't have a ton of flavor. We were sure if the lack of service was due to staff shortages or if this is typical for this property. We think the stay would have been much better with a clean pool and new towels/trash service daily.
