Croft Court Hotel

Easy check in. Let me park early well before the check in. Room was smallish but clean. No issues wit( anything. Good value

Location is good and trustworthy. There are enough area for parking in front of the hotel. The room was clean and 2 times cleaned by housekeeping in 4 days. There was only bad thing about hotet that stairs smells moisture. But only stairs. I think it's usual in London

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Excellent for what we required. Easy walking distance and also reception was so helpful in allowing us an early check in and gave directions to the Church. Perfect and with parking.

Character-limited review: We stayed in a top-floor triple room at the Croft Court Hotel for the Shabbat of July 11-13. On foot, it's close to plenty of shuls, but not to as many restaurants or shop as some other accommodations. By bike, bus, or car, though, getting around to those shops or restaurants won't be a problem. The hotel is just a couple of bus stops from Golders Green Station, and another minute or two down the street, so getting there by public transit is quite convenient. HOWEVER, if you're planning on bringing larger, heavier bags/suitcases with you, try to call or email ahead to see about getting a room on the first of second floor, as there's no elevator. I'm capable of lifting our large suitcases up sets of stairs (and did), but I can't suggest it for everyone. The hotel has a nice, generally up-to-date look, especially in the lobby and dining area, and has a wonderful, spacious garden and lawn in the back for lounging or eating. We had our breakfast out in the back on Shabbat morning and it was a great way to start the day. David, the hotel's main receptionist/manager was exceedingly friendly and conversational, and ensured that all our needs were handled during our stay. Our room was modern, and more spacious than we expected. Our beds were wonderfully comfortable, the in-room A/C was a welcome change from the first hotel we stayed in, which had none. The in-room mini fridge was more than large enough. We'd definitely stay again.

Great value hotel a few mins walk from Northern line and local shops and restaurants. Had a lovely meal in one of the neighbourhood Trattoria’s. The Garden Room No1 was spacious and light, comfy kingsize, looking out onto lawn and trees. Staff super friendly and approachable. We have stayed in lots of budget hotels in London and will definitely stay here again.

Ideal clean hotel to visit the daughter. Parking, and a good front of house gentleman by the name of David. Recommend.

I arrived at the hotel and found a space for parking which was a bonus. As I entered I was greeted by a gentleman saying hello you look tired. Good observation. Checkin was done online before hand. I was on the top floor. No lift. No heavy bags thankfully. The stairwell was a bit grubby with lots of scuff marks on the wall. My room was clean and the bed comfy. The room was looking tired and could do with new furniture and a lick of paint. Tea coffee and free water in the room. Safe deposit box also. The en-suite was small and cramped as was the shower. The water pressure wasn’t the best and it ran cold for quite a while before then running scolding hot. Very very difficult to regulate the water temperature. The hotel advertised a restaurant but they didn’t serve food and there was no breakfast apart from coffee from a machine. Just up the road there are some restaurants and a Tesco express. Overall it wasn’t too bad 5/10 a bit over priced for what you get.

Lovely hotel. Really appreciated having a garden room. Friendly check in. Let us leave our car for several hours after checking out. My only comment would be to encourage you to add milk to the coffee making facilities in the room.

Staff were courteous and helpful yet we asked for 3 single beds and were given a double and a single. Persevered and staff ensured we had three singles. Was disappointing as had emailed hotel earlier in week asking if 3 single beds as query from automated check in form. Didn't receive a reply. Room was clean and tidy, quiet, toilet seat was wonky

Nice place to stay in quiet area. Our toilet seat wasn’t attached properly to the toilet so it slid. We told the office but it couldn’t be fixed over the weekend. The rooms are very clean. I would say to skip the breakfast. The continental is VERY expensive for what you get (American sandwich bread). Overall nice stay and would stay again.

Nice hotel in a quiet suburban area. Receptionist David was very nice and room was very clean. Air conditioning unit was very noisy in the night however and some furniture in the room was showing some slight damage. Would stay again.

The property was small and clean. However we had flies in the bathtub and a few ants in the room. There was a strong bleach smell from the bathroom so it meant you had to keep the door closed at all times. The furniture was nice and modern.

When we saw our room, it was more like a single than a double. The window looked out at a brick wall with a mattress propped against it. The room had no natural light, and because we are Shabbat observant, we could only use a very small light for 25 hours of the stay and we couldn't see what we were doing. We were climbing around each other. The bed was up against the wall on one side so one of us had to crawl into bed from the bottom of the bed. On the second night we slept top to toe to give ourselves more room. We did ask to be moved but the hotel was full. I don't like to complain publicly so we did approach the manager and ask him to mitigate our miserable stay. He said that he could call us back the next day, but he didn't.

I needed the place to crash and that’s all it was for me. Super thin walls and you could hear people talking super late in the night as well. No breakfast until 8:30 and that too VERY basic, not even decent coffee. I would not recommend this place for families, but if you need a place to crash then go for it. It’s only .5 miles walk to train station and took 30 mins early morning Uber to Heathrow. Wifi was good..

friendly staff and quietish location, however to have a broken glass in my window to match the broken mirror in my room was disapointing. my room was clean, however the floor was covereed in lino rather than carpet, which was very prctical when you climbed out of the smallest shower in the world with wet feet, but not condusive to a warm midnight toilet run.

They were very accommodating as we arrived late. The bed was very comfortable. The only problem i had and this is because i needed a cuppa, there wasn't any longlife milk for a morning cup of tea.

The hotel owners were friendly and accomodating. Perfect place to stay in a convenient and accessible location for central London.

Great little hotel just outside of London. Good value and about a 15 minute walk to the tube (northern line). We will be looking to book again next time we come into London from Shropshire.

Despite the property being welcoming and warm, the hotel needs updating. The decoration is quite dated with peeling paint and some rotten woodwork, particularly around windows. However, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Also, despite the hotel requiring some updating, it didn't spoil my stay in any way. The room was warm and comfortable, and I had a very comfortable sleep. The area is full of fantastic for restaurants and transport links to the city of London.

I won’t be staying here again despite the nice room and clean facilities it was the breakfast experience that really let the hotel down. Coffee was cold, there were no non dairy alternatives for me (not much to ask in the 21st C) and boiled eggs were out of the question for my wife because they “take too long to cook”. What really pushed it over the edge was having the Rightwing GB News playing on a big screen in the breakfast room that really turned my stomach. We won’t be going back.

I stayed at this property many years ago and though the property was conveniently located I found the rooms very old fashioned. One of my relatives told me that the hotel had a makeover and was clean with nice bedrooms. I decided that as I was going to London for one night, and wanted something close to the Jewish neighbourhood and also close to the M1 motorway I would take a chance, and booked a room. What a surprise, the hotel has undergone a total refitting, and I understand that there are more changes in the pipeline. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. I was impressed with the quality of soaps in the room and the coffee and teas. I think that in this category of hotels I would put it in the excellent marks. If there is one thing I would recommend it would be that there should be a mirror near the seating area in the rooms, as I needed to stand while applying makeup, (this is just my opinion) I was impressed with the service, and the kosher breakfast was very good
