The room and complimentary breakfast were great, but we felt that the price for parking was a bit extreme. The complimentary drinks were horrible and we dumped them out. The pool was extremely small for a hotel of this size, so we didn't get to enjoy it.. We did however enjoy the easy access from the hotel to the baseball game without having to go outside.

Great location in heart of downtown. Clean place, w/big open rooms. No parking/forced $55 valet. We parked at Mayo Clinic across the street instead (booked online only $19 for 24 hours). Being our 1st time here, there were some oddities/learning curves that the staff failed to mention at check in that would have been helpful. We didn’t initially realize that you have to use your room key to get anywhere in the building, even to use the elevator. So we were trying to figure out why the elevator wasn’t working and had to go ask the front desk, and they were kind of rude about it. They knew it was our first time there when we checked in, so it would have been helpful for them to say “Here’s your room key, you’ll need it to access the building, to use the elevator, and to access the pool” instead of us fumbling around trying to figure out how to get to our room. When we got in the room we looked for a directory to find the pool. There’s no paper directory, only QR code. So we scanned it and were told that the pool was located on the 1st floor. We got to the 1st floor wandering around in our suits only to find out from the front desk that the pool is actually on -2 floor(small pool btw, no hot tub). If you’re going to force us to use an online directory, at least have it be accurate please. All in all the place was oddly confusing to navigate for the first time. Now that we know everything, it’s all good. But it would have been nice to get some guidance from the staff initially.

The elevators were only 2/5 working and it is not easy to just take the stairs. Breakfast was ok but at 9:30, they were out of everything. Location is great for sports stuff but I got sick of waiting for elevators.

Breakfast was great, as usual for Embassy Suites. Service wasn't great as our room wasn't cleaned one day and we had to ask twice before they brought a remote for the bedroom tv. Parking charge was excessive so we found a place a couple blocks away that charged less for three days than Embassy Suites charged for one.

The elevators took forever. We waited 10 minutes to get to lobby and pool from floor 7. We couldn’t figure out the steps between floor 1-3 so that wasn’t an option. The evening reception was one person working drinks and no fountain pop for kids. The pool was freezing. Rooms were huge and we were able to park at a parking garage very close for less than half the price of valet. Perfect for going to Target Center.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved the layout of the suite and especially enjoyed the hotel gym. It’s pretty spectacular for a hotel gym. We didn’t like the barn sliding doors on the bathroom (there were tow entry points to the bathroom). They are noisy when people are sleeping and they are hard to maneuver to complete close the doorway and they don’t have locks. Also, our fridge didn’t work the first night causing all the food I brought to spoil. This is a perfect location if you are going to a Timberwolves game. We used the valet parking. It’s not cheap but very convenient. Breakfast is good too.

The hotel was nice. There wasn't any free parking. The nearest parking garage was $50 for one night. My biggest problem was the bedding in our room. There were large stains on the blanket and sheets, and there several tears. The breakfast was good not great, although they did offer some made-to-order items. My room also did not have any coffee for the coffee maker, though it had several different teas.

I would have gave 5 stars but one of our rooms had a permanent bad smell. I tried using Lysol spray it did not help. Also we were unable to use the refrigerator because it was dirty. Our favorite feature at this hotel was the breakfast. As always the Embassy Suite omelettes are very well known.

The suit was super dirty! To the point where the hotel management moved us the another room. But the other room was equally as dirty and out dated! The pillows were yellow, stains everywhere, and it was just a complete mess. We didn’t have an options but to stay since we had a wedding to attend the next day. But by far it has been the worst experience ever. I think it would have been better to stay at a motel 6! And that says a lot! I provided a couple of pictures but I should have gotten more.

Our family - four adults stayed in a suite that was supposed to sleep 6. Sitting area / living room space very small. Bathroom has sliding doors which leaves cracks when closed so you can see in the sides when door closed. Poor ventilation in the room especially the bathroom. Only have valet parking 55$ a day… very expensive. The free breakfast is very good, also get two free drinks in the lounge and appetizers which is nice.

Have stayed here before. It’s a convenient location for walking to concerts and games. Valet parking attendants went above and beyond. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Room safe, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Great location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Did have a little bit of a sour(musty towel) smell around the bathroom like maybe they are nothing fresh cleaning solution. Also temperature in night one was good, it was a little warm on night too. Overall good stay and so recommend!

We were in the area for an event at the Target Center and the walk to the event was super short and we felt safe. We chose Valet parking, which is expensive, but super convenient and helped with my anxiety about finding parking! There were some characters around the area that made my young daughter feel a bit uneasy, but this was her first time downtown in a city. I never felt threatened/endangered. The hotel is right near the transit stop that takes you to the Mall of America, so we took that for the day. It’s about a 40 minute ride, but completely worth not having to drive! The hotel was very nice—the breakfast was awesome for being complimentary. The chef made-to-order omelets were perfect for our various dietary preferences. Most of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We only encountered one person that kind of acted as if she didn’t have time for us upon checking in, but she wasn’t terrible, just off from the others we encountered. All being said, we would definitely stay here again!

Call front desk first night and asked for an extra pillow which they said will be sent right up. No show. Called next afternoon asking again for extra pillow, the reply was the same, it'll be sent right up. No pillow. Day 2 I heard cleaning staff knocking repeatedly and calling into door of our second room. I heard it and told the maid to go ahead with the room as my son and family were not in there. Only the garbage as emptied. No towels or bed service. She then knocked on my door and I told her go ahead and freshen the room but leave the beds. She emptied the garbage and was leaving and I caught her and had to ask her to restock the towels which she did. She then left our garbage in the hall by our door for more than 3 hours. It was eventually picked up.

We stayed overnight for a concert at the Target Center. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. It was located in easy walking distance to our venue. The downside - valet parking. There were long lines to check in for valet parking. I had to wait 15 minutes to ckeck my car in. Then to pick up my car i waited 25 minutes in a hot hallway. Cost $55. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

Our stay with Embassy Suites has been great! From checking in to our room, to getting drinks in the lounge, to valet parking, then checking out... everyone has been helpful and friendly. Our room is clean and comfortable, and the hotel is surrounded by lots of businesses with a plethora of options for food, and of course, the breakfast buffet is filling! 5 stars!

Our stay was great from start to finish. We were checked in by a young lady named Alex, and she went above and beyond. She signed us up for the rewards program and gave us a small goody bag for our anniversary. She even shared a few of her favorite restaurants with us, all with a smile. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The rest of the staff were wonderful as well except for one guy who was a bit rude when we asked where the valet was. All in all, a wonderful experience with a clean, spacious room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and lots of perks and amenities. Five stars! Well done!

I kept asking for room service and no came. And when room service came they just changed the garbage. No vaccum, no making the beds nothing. I kept asking for my room to be cleaned and nothing. I had to keep asking for towels and toilet tissue due to them not wanting to clean my room. I will never stay here again. I wish i could get my money back. Just the worst.

My stay was good. The soap dispenser was out of soap, but we only stayed 12 hours for a concert so not long enough for us to care. However, on Monday when checking my card, I noticed two charges of the same amount that for the same stay of one night. I called and had the unfortunate luck to get Scott on the phone. Who first jumped down my throat and told me off about not allowing enough time (only 1 business day) for the transaction to properly post to my account and before I could pose what i was calling about. I was calling to dispute the 2nd charge. I asked for a manager and dont believe I was transferred correctly so I called back. He picked up the phone and when i asked who i was speaking with he just atuomatically transferred me away again. Again, to the wrong extension. I called back a 3rd time and still didn't get a manager and was told to dispute my 2nd charge with my card provider. Scott said he was too busy to listen to my issue and provided the worst service I have ever experienced in my 42 years of life. If I was thinking of a return stay, that is gone after the most unpleasant interaction with the rudest human on earth. He should find a different job if he can't answer the simplest of questions with poise and during high traffic times.

Great stay for a quick overnight. We had an event at US Bank Stadium and it was a quick 15 min walk to and from. We enjoyed the evening reception shortly after checking in, breakfast was good. Selfishly I was sad there was no pancakes, but I'm a breakfast foodie. The staff were super friendly. The gentleman at the front desk jokingly tried to take our gourmet brownies we bought. Parking was easy to find and navigate. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The rooms were spacious and just perfect for our four day stay to watch the Twins play. Its just a short walk to the stadium, and the hotel offers a happy hour every night which was a nice perk. We also loved the complementary breakfast. The light rail was one block away making Embassy Suites our best option.

Embassy Suites Minneapolis. The location was excellent as it only took 3 minutes or so to walk to Target Field. The security for the hotel is excellent as well! It was super easy to check in and fast unlock other places. We had valet parking which was a luxury that I chose to afford because navigating in the city of downtown Minneapolis is crazy, so this luxury was well worth it! I have always loved the breakfast at Embassy Suites, but this particular location left something to be desired. The scrambled eggs were cold and dry. The sausage links must have been boiled in water instead of on a grill or in the oven. They had the texture of a hotdog. There was not enough seating for the amount of people having breakfast and the set up was so wrong and created over crowding and you could not even get to the omelet station or the hot cereal area. This is an area that needs to be focused on and remedies right away! The room was super nice and clean. I loved the tile floor that looks like wood! The bathroom was cool with 2 different doorways. The blinds were excellent for blocking out any light from the city. The small living room was great to watch tv in. I recommend this hotel for sure, but maybe do not have high expectations of their breakfast.

The cook that cooked my omelet YELLED at me for asking if there was cheese in it. Saying he already asked me if I wanted cheese while I was standing over there and pointed to a place in the room. Mind you, he never spoke to me until that moment. I told him I never was asked and he yelled more. I asked if I could have some cheese and he THREW it!! Someone stepped in and told him not to talk to me that way. The rest of the hot breakfast bar was COLD.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We were staying at the hotel to attend a graduation at the University of Minnesota and Twins baseball game. The location was very convenient for both. It’s a very walkable location for the Twins games - a 5-10 minute walk. The Lion’s Pub is attached to the hotel, and it was very good. We ate there a couple of times, and the food was excellent, the quantities plentiful and the prices were extremely moderate. I would highly recommend eating there. The only disappointment was with the breakfast. They had an omelet station that looked good, but the general breakfast was buffet style, and both days we ate there all of the heated food (eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc.) were cold. The toaster didn’t work very well at all, and several people ran bread through multiple times to toast, and finally threw them away because they wouldn’t toast.

We had an event to attend at the Target Center so we decided to find a hotel that was walking distance, especially since it was February. The Embassy Suite's blew us away! It was so gorgeous and well kept. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a great variety. There was also a free social hour in the afternoon that had some yummy Margaritas. Everything was extremely secure, needed a key card to get in. The valet was extremely convenient as well! We will stay here again next time we visit downtown Minneapolis!

Very convenient location to the metro and other downtown locations. The staff is super friendly. The daily happy hour was a lot of fun. Restaurant food and drinks were well priced and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. Daily breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.
