Check in was great. The pool was clean and accessible. The room was larger than I expected. overall Id stay here anytime I am in Dallas

As soon as we walk out of the elevator it smell like weed like sooo... bad! Two mights in a row 2 different strangers nocking at our door. First night around 2am and second night around 11pm it was scary. Property was dirty. Bad experience over all. The only good thing was the Denny's across the street and the easy parking.

Water pressure was amazing! Much better appointed than usual Motel 6! Had Hair dryers! Coffee Maker! Iron & Ironing Board! Great for business travel! Walking distance to Market!

The Hotel and the room is good , service , I think my only think suggest you should move your Laundry should be at the middle ground not on the 2nd floor, for safety as well if you want to come wash your cloth late at you don't have to go far away . Thank you but other wise the room is good, hotel is accessible in all !!! Thank you ...

Clean front entry. Rest of the common area is a different story. Doesn't look like it gets cleaned often. Room appeared clean and put together except for some dust. Full size fridge in room but someone's fingernail was in there. Nice for longer longer term stays or need for keeping things refrigerated.Bathroom; the light is tied in with a very loud exhaust fan. There is no shampoo provided, so if hair washing is needed provide your own. Towels and wash cloths were not great and had stains. I stayed 2 nights and was not happy that they came into my room after the first night to make my bed and mess with my stuff on the bathroom counter-not necessary! Really do not like the idea of them touching my stuff! Pool is definitely not ready for people to be in. Filthy furniture and sitting area. They do not offer morning eats-they have a coffee dispenser but who knows how long it was sitting there. Not a very clean area. All-in-all, if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep while doing things in the Dallas area-this is a very low cost place w/free parking and easy access.

they didnt have any hair products at all. additionally the gym was unusable because they put refrigerators everywhere.

Floor in room very dirty. No amenities in bathroom. Elevator not working part of the time and I use a cane. No non-slip bottom in shower

Property is dated. Pool looked clean. Decent room for the money. Good location for what I needed to do. Roaches came out at night. Lots of them 😠

I went for a swim and the lady told me the pool closes at 7pm. IM SORRY BUT I THINK IN TEXAS DURING THE SUMMER..... NO POOL SHOULD BE CLOSED! ESPECIALLY ONE IM PAYING MONEY TO USE AND AFTER A 6 HOUR DRIVE! Then on top of that our door didn't shut so we literally slammed it every time just to close which probably woke up everyone on our floor. Other than that .. it was just a room for a couple of old ravers to rest their dance feet so yea.... It was decent.

Cheap and quiet enough place to stay. Unfortunately there was a GIANT outdoor light pointed directly into our window and the single curtain was not enough to help. Had to throw one of the blankets from the bed on the top of the curtain and stick my shoes in the window to get any semblance of darkness. We only got 3 towels for 3 people and a 3 night stay, and when we asked for more, we were given some bath rugs and told to make do. The elevator heater was on even though it was 80-90 degrees during our stay. Found a roach on the bed when we were getting our stuff together to check out, so that sucks. Pillows were tiny and only 2 per bed. I like that this hotel still has vending machines though. Would probably stay again for TFF, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. It's easy to get to the con hotel via the Dart or a quick drive. (Just park in the of the garages downtown.)

This place was not clean. Odd smell in the reception area, mold in the bathroom, bathroom door did not shut, AC was cool, not cold. I could hear the tv in the room on the other side of the wall. All together, I'd never stay here again

Best thing about the hotel was the staff - reception and housekeeping were very friendly. The room was reasonably comfortable but in pretty poor condition, curtains were ripped and the balcony door would not close properly. The bedsheets and towels had yellow stains all over them and we found roaches in the bathroom. If you can afford to go anywhere else, I recommend that you do.

Filthy and I mean filthy. It starts in the lobby, the luggage cart carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they built the Hotel. The mirrors inside the elevator were disgusting. Now for the room, it probably was nice at some point in time, but after years of neglect and failure to maintain you are left with a nasty room that you have to share with the cockroaches, the shower looked as if it had never been cleaned. Do not stay at this place.

There was a broken mirror on the closet door, a window left unlocked, black mold in the bathroom, and the room smelled like cigarettes.

Sheets were stained, water pressure was low, there was no ice machine or water fountain. There is NOT a continental breakfast. Fridge had a rotten odor, furniture was dirty. They did however have hot water and a smart tv. That was a plus.

I stepped on a live mouse. Then took at least 20 minutes to get someone up to my room. They didn't have another one available. Had to sleep with all my belongings on the bed. Disgusting!

Terrible. The room smells ugly due to very old carpet. The fridge had a cheeseburger from previous guest. Small roaches in the bathroom. I booked for 2 nights but I stayed only for 1 night. I walked away to another hotel for similar price but CLEAN.

We found small spiders in the room. The smelling was too strong, I believe is the humidity. The cleaning service just came and spray the room.

It was odd...some things were very nice, like the counter tops in the bathroom but some were not so nice, like the beat up full-size refrigerator in the room. It was maybe like they were renovating one thing at a time? But the bed was comfortable and it was next door to my conference so I could walk. It was an okay stay for the price.

You definitely get what you pay for, and a bit more! Full sized fridge was perfect for our group's needs. Bed and sheets were comfortable and clean. The space was in good condition, A/C didn't work in the building due to construction (which I didn't hear any noise from during my stay), but crack the window a bit at night at it's perfectly cool. A solid motel experience for my first stay at a motel. Staff at desk have a bit of language barrier, but were as accommodating as expected. I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind to stay again.

I visited Dallas to see two concerts. I just needed an inexpensive place to sleep with restaurants nearby. I chose Motel 6, located in the Design District, which turned out to be a good choice. The motel is an older property that can use a facelift, but it was clean, quiet, and the staff were great. There were a dozen restaurants within walking distance of different types of food and costs.

Not a great side of town. There was a good amount of road noise. The hallway floor was dirty. All the floors were filthy. Elevator floor filthy with dried drips and spills. Room was fairly clean. Hand prints on the glass, bugs in cobwebs. The remote didnt work. Air didnt seem to be adjustable.

Hotel is in an excellent location across from the Market Center, right next to many other chains at different levels. It's a very old building, appears okay, and is very well lighted at night that does make it feel safe. Room is as expected, bathroom is super small and barely navigable and is overdue for an upgrade. Beds were not that comfortable and were basically roller beds on a metal frame with wheels that moves easily pushed up against headboards on the wall. For the price, it is as expected, but is clean and feels safe in an excellent location.

The room was small but adequate. The walls are very thin and we were well aware of the arguments and conversations happening around us. The hotel seemed to have some pretty rough people staying at the property as there was loud music playing in a couple of the rooms. I was awakened to a fight in the hallway at 4:00 AM and several people arguing and running up and down the hallway swearing and banging into things. I am pretty sure a fight was breaking out. This lasted off and on for about a half hour. I was waiting for the police to arrive but never saw any lights outside. Either someone won the argument or they got bored and gave up but eventually it quieted down. This is a motel 6 in its purest form. She is an old rundown property with a little lipstick on her so she looks presentable at first glance. You will not have a pleasant stay here. There are no amenities and the motel needs to be demolished and reimagined. There is nothing wrong with a Motel 6. There is just something wrong with this Motel 6. You have been warned.

If you plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel itself, don't expect a luxurious hotel room. I stayed for two nights and the property is perfectly utilitarian for two nights. Don't expect total comfort, although there is a pool and there are some amenities the rooms are pretty basic, provide the bare minimum and I found a lot of stray hairs that needed to be vacuumed in my room.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The reception was terrible. Very defensive and aggressive when asking to not stay in the building but the back portion closer to the pool. The room was disgusting. I didn’t even stay the night.

I checked in and went to the room turned the tv on and it had no signal, not a big deal because I had just worked 15 hours and only wanted to sleep. So I turned on the A/C and noticed the thermostat wouldn’t adjust, it was set on 60 degrees, I turned the fan on low and went to bed. I woke up at 3am freezing, it said it was 58 degrees and I was unable to adjust it up. The next morning I reported the problems and asked for another room for the next 2 nights, they said no problem, so I went back to work for 15 hours and returned at night and Hari said they fixed everything, so I went to the room and they had replaced the tv but the thermostat was still not adjustable, I called and Hari said it was fixed, so I went to the front desk and asked for a different room and he told me no, there is nothing wrong with the thermostat. Hari came to the room and tried to so me how stupid I am and proceeded to push on the thermostat for a couple minutes before saying I need to call the maintenance guy. He finally reluctantly gave me a different room. I had already paid for 3 nights and didn’t want to find another hotel at 10:30pm. BUT I Will Never Trust MOTEL 6 AGAIN!!!!! What crappy way to treat someone. Hari is the worst.

Management was rude - manager cursed me during call to inform them I would be late checking in.

Check-in was quick and easy.

The Staff is really pleasant and aim, to make sure you have a great stay at their hotel.

My room was pretty good for a fairly low price. However, I encountered a few bugs in my room. Other than that, I enjoyed the amenities and the close proximity to the American Airlines Center for my business and leisure trip.

I visited Dallas to see two concerts. I just needed an inexpensive place to sleep with restaurants nearby. I chose Motel 6, located in the Design District, which turned out to be a good choice. The motel is an older property that can use a facelift, but it was clean, quiet, and the staff were great. There were a dozen restaurants within walking distance of different types of food and costs.

The hotel was close to the conference we attended. It was a lot cheaper and the room was nice.

Old property that needs a major uplift, other than that it was an ok place with a 15 minute drive to downtown area.
