Stay for our daughter's nearby graduation. It was perfect. The gentleman in the lobby directed us to great options for food within walking distance. Our short stay let us to new friends and a love of Salem and The Hotel Salem.

no phone in case of emergency, bathroom doors would not completely shut for privacy, heat was turned off for the season and needed heater.

Very clean & updated hotel in central Salem. The rooms are "micro", so not much room - but if you don't require much room you'll be fine. Parking is in the Salem Central parking deck ($20/day) that can be a ceased in the building directly across the walkway, so you won't get wet if it's raining.
