Needed a hotel near the U of MN hospital and this newer hotel was nice! I chose this more upscale hotel for the pool/hot tub and they were a comfort to sore muscles. A drawback is you pay to park if you have a car. Breakfast is available for purchase…I didn’t need.

Parking was awful (and expensive) if you were coming in later in the evening. Available parking lot across the street, but you have to go all the way around of walk through a drainage ditch to get to the street. Hotel itself was nice and staff were nice.

The parking was awful. The logistics were difficult. There wasn’t enough room to leave your car to check in and you had to get a key to the room in order to get into the parking garage. There was a backlog of cars.

Overall great stay. Parking is tight in the parking garage especially if you have a full size vehicle like a pickup or large SUV. Suggest taking a smaller vehicle if you can. Staff was super nice and friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant/bar. We did not opt for the breakfast due to the time we needed check to go to the U of M hospital. Location is GREAT if your destination is the hospital. Bed is comfortable for the price. Would stay here again as needed.

There is no sign telling arrivals where to check in at. The streets are busy and it would be nice to know where to enter the building. $30 to park in their small, narrow garage? Really? There is no other choice but to pay the fee. I don't remember seeing this expense listed when I booked.

Clean and bright hotel with good amenities. Only gripe is the overflow parking fee of $30. It’s one thing to charge that price for onsite/inside parking, but when it’s not even connected to the building, acrosss the street and not covered the price seemed a bit much.

Good location, walkable to the campus areas, restaurants. Restaurant/bar at the hotel was not open which was unfortunate. Room was very warm, had trouble with thermostat and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. Kids loved the pool. Overall would definitely stay again if traveling to that area.

The parking at this hotel was not great. They charge $30 for covered parking but only have a few spots. If you don't get a spot which you probwont they have you go.accross the street and park, also for $30. Breakfast was not worth the $12. This type of breakfast is included at other hotels.

The room was very nice, personnel in the cage were great, but front desk seemed oblivious to the on goings in the hotel.. People were smoking Marijuana inside the hotel in the rooms on the 4th floor and more then likely elsewhere in the hotel too, and just outside the exit door near the garage... I MEAN JUST outside the door .. if your company is ok with this, I'll find other accommodations for my next visit... Recommend to all the pot heads loving that stink crap.. enjoy.

The entire facility looks like it needs to be deep cleaned. We didn’t even want to touch our bare feet to the shower floor because of how unsanitary it was. The place looked a bit under the weather in so many words.

I needed time to think about this section so here it goes. I was tired when I checked in I didn’t have to chance to go through the room but the next morning inside the bathroom was hair all in the sink, hair on the floor, and hair inside the shower area, then on top of that I requested a non smoking room and in the bathroom smelled like cigarettes, I ask for a manager every day and I got no response even up until my last night I even gave my number and was told a manager would call me but guess what??? NO ONE HAS CALLED ME YET!!! So unprofessional. I go downstairs to ask for plates and utensils and what do they give me dirty plates dirty utensils even down to the towel the utensils were in and again I ask for a manager and still NO ONE HAS CALLED ME…

Good good good people! Very nice. The room is nice, cleanly appointed. Water pressure in shower and sink was noticeably weak. Bed is firm, sheets and pillows clean and firm. TV has nothing online, but it does have access to HDMI. AC made whoosh sounds, but not grind sounds, good. Can set thermostat to "always on" for white noise. Minifridge noticeable, but even. Good closet space. Good lighting. USB charger ports by bed.

Nice size room (one king bed) for a city hotel. There is dining on the property, even though the dinner menu was limited and the breakfast was not included (as stated on Expedia). We had to pay a lot for breakfast and the kitchen was out of some items (like the fruit topping for French toast/waffles). Since my husband and I are both diabetic we like a buffet breakfast with a variety of foods to get protein and fiber but not a lot of carbs. The parking was also extra -- $30 a night and in a parking garage. The garage had two levels and space was tight just getting around the ramps. It was quiet and clean, but I would probably stay in a different location next time, with more restaurant options, free parking and breakfast included.

Front desk guy was helpful and nice. Parking was good even though it was $30. The real problem with this place and apparently all Hiltons now is the design of the rooms. The bathroom door doesn’t shut, it’s just a sliding door with no latch. So not only can you not lock the door, you can’t even seal it. Who wants to go to the bathroom or shower with a door like that? I can’t imagine anyone would prefer this.

The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was awesome as always! But we were in room 228 and there was the loudest noise we kept hearing. We finally figured out it was the AC! It buzzes very loudly. It was a bit distracting and difficult to fall asleep to. Otherwise. A great facility we have stayed at before and will stay at again.

The power went out right when we entered the parking garage, and the backup generator wasn’t working. Because the door keys are electric and their computers were down, we waited 3 hours until power was (luckily) restored to check in. The power issue was out if the hotel’s control to some extent (not sure why their backup did not work though). They had 2 team members in the lobby. One was accommodating and kind, the other was very stressed and bordering in rude to some guests. No accommodations like free parking or complimentary breakfast were made for a lot of inconvenienced people which was disappointing. I had purchased a package with breakfast and it inly provides for the buffet breakfast, which other than the Starbucks coffee, is not an upgrade from a lesser hotel’s continental breakfast. There was only one server who was overrun, and it was a bit if a mess there, too. Location is great/easily walkable to the U. Room was comfortable.

They didn't have my reservation, so I couldn't even stay there, I SHOULDN'T BE CHARGED FOR THIS ROOM. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I've stayed at this property MANY times, as I have MANY surgeries at the U of M East Bank. This is the FIRST time I've gone through Expedia, and the FIRST TIME they didn't have my reservation. I had to drive and find another hotel 50 miles away for a 0530 am surgery with NO shuttle to the hospital. I will never go through EXPEDIA again unless they refund my money.

The TV did not work despite the staff's diligent efforts. Was disappointed that the quick complimentary breakfast is no longer available. A guest parked in the access spot next to the handicap parking making it impossible to get into the vehicle without backing out of the space.

The hilton app would not give a digital key so we had to go to guest service only to find the worker on her phone. I had to alert her that I was waiting for service so she could look away from her phone. There was nice buffet pictures online only to find out there was no buffet being served that morning on a weekend which was a huge inconvenience. Overal, I will not be staying there again.

Dining options were not adequate. The menu did not reflect availability. While staff was pleasant, there was no dinner! The air conditioner in the room was directed AT THE BED. It made sleeping miserable. When attempting to correct temperature, the thermostat was difficult to navigate and the room reached 88 degrees at one point. The television did not work properly. I was told it was interruption from the rainstorm, yet some channels were not effected. Overall, this Hilton experience was VERY POOR.
