Stayed 2 nights

The biggest plus point of this place is the location . It’s near down town and very walkable to famous places. Pros Washroom in my building was ok Ample parking space in and around property Food trucks on premises. Cons Whole property felt mismanaged My room was hot as an oven. I could not sleep at all at night because of the heat and no ventilation. It was even difficult to sit there. When I asked the front desk , they said they will look into this but nothing was done. There is an odd smell in the building which might be lack of deep cleaning and old carpets. Also it seems that some people live there permanently and use the rooms and bathrooms as their personal closets. Won’t stay again.

Fabulous location just a few blocks from the main entertainment district. Very nice staff. Great beer garden, beer/cider truck, food trucks, hammocks, bikes, tv room with at least 10 guitars for guests to use, sun room, sauna with great showers. Terrific!

Stayed 2 nights

The property is not safe, the doors do not lock, the mattress has a burn whole, the bathroom was dirty and when we tried to check out early for our safety no one was around. Then they refused to provide a refund, even for the night we didn’t stay. This property should not be on Expedia, it is basically like a flop house. Awful and unsafe.

Stayed 2 nights

I showed up and the staff all seemed hungover and disorganized. My room wasn’t ready. They couldn’t check me in cause the computer died. They tried to check me in anyway. They showed me my bunk and my linens weren’t clean. They all seemed like kind people. But the vibe was wack. I am not sure why the reviews are so good. Go find yourself a campground.

Stayed 2 nights

Lesson learned. Booked a 2 night stay for 4 of us. We checked in and although I booked a 4 bed private room they set us up in a 3 bed room. Our 4th person ended up not being able to make it so that worked out. But we did pay for the larger room despite not receiving one. In addition the whole house was completely trashed, fridge full to the brim with items and a rancid stench. We couldn’t use any of the communal space at all and we’re pretty much ostracized to our room only. I assume because we’re adults in our 40’s and not young wayward youths? It was the strangest experience ever. Then in the middle of the night from about 1:30-2:30am (quiet time is 11pm) a group of the regulars that stay there were screaming and carrying on after coming back from partying somewhere. Like literally screaming as if they were having a psychotic break and cursing. No clean towels for any of us to use on site. And the next morning one of the staff was found passed out on the sofa amongst the ‘clean’ towels like that was their bed for the night. At least we learned our lesson and will never advise anyone to stay here. We’ve stayed at many hostels all over the world and have never had anything go this horrible. We left a day early and booked a room at a traditional hotel because it wasn’t worth staying one more night at this place.
