Homewood Suites by Hilton San Jose Santa Clara

Loved our stay at Homewood Suites. Super clean, super comfy—slept so good after a 7-hour drive. Check-in was quick and easy, which was a lifesaver. Really appreciated the EV chargers on site too. Staff was nice, breakfast was good, and check-out was a breeze. I’d totally stay here again next time I’m in town. Thanks for the awesome stay!

Property was nice. Didn’t like that you had to pay for parking.

We spent a week there and had a great time. Pool was clean, breakfast was always great and the staff was very friendly. The pool table and ping pong were a fun addition as well

So if this was just a rating for the room i would've rated this higher. The first issue i have is the $15/day parking fee. There is nowhere else to park so you're stuck with this fee. It's not like the lot is secured or anyone keeps your car safe. You just get to pay for the privilege of parking your own car in a first come, first served lot and they go around every day and mark whether your car is parked there. We needed to use the laundry room but it was out of service for the entire stay (6 days). The pool was out of service when we arrived and one of the elevators was out of service for a day. There was another elevator but it was on the other side of the complex necessitating that you walk all the way around the building to use it. The hotel is right next to a freeway and has a major street in front of it. Traffic noise wasn't too bad but you can hear it. There is a convenient Target just on the other side of the freeway. It's also very close to Levi stadium which is just one exit further down the freeway. I've stayed at other Homewood Suites before and having a separate living room and small kitchen was nice. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful too. The breakfast isn't bad for a hotel breakfast. Breakfast is only until 9am on weekdays and 10am on weekends. So overall I'm going to rate this property a 3. It could be better but you could do worse too. But the parking fee still sucks.

The resort was a bit of a trek to great Americas however was only a 45 minute walk in the mornings. Close to target and a number of dining options, as well as right next to the highway which made ubers a fast option as well. We waited until 7pm to check in for one of our three rooms when we landed early and had requested an early check in. They don’t have a bell service to hold luggage however did hold all of of suitcases which lightened our loads significantly. Their amenities were one of our favourites with the games room, pool area and outdoor seating and bbq. Our family was there for 4 days and beyond the situation with check in it was perfect.

The upkeep on the property was not what it should be. The barbecue was not working. The pool was closed. The Internet did not work in our room and the technician wanted to take our TV because it wouldn’t connect however, I do believe that they keep the premises clean it just isn’t maintained, we

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is clean. However, I stayed here for 3 weeks and the laundry room was always out of service. This is unacceptable. Had I known this before I arrived, I would not have chosen this place. Additionally, the sound insulation is poor; I could hear loud snoring from my neighbor every night.

Dish washer not working. Free parking unless you’re in a crowded city like San Francisco is a must.

Check in time is at 3 but when we got there around 330, there were no rooms available for us. We had to wait an hour before we could finish our check in. That was the only inconvenience for us. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and apologized many times for not having anything available. The property is very nice and clean. My family and I were able to utilize all the amenities like the pool, the gym, and the game room. It was a very pleasant stay. Would come again if we needed somewhere to stay in the area.

Overall stay met our requirements. However the front desk reception was not overly friendly or welcoming upon arrival. Main reason for staying at this location was the kitchenette which served the purpose although there were no cleaning materials within the room to clean up with, additionally ants located in the kitchen both mornings.

The first major issue we had was with the hotel room we booked. We had reserved a non-smoking room, and the entire hotel was supposed to be non-smoking. However, it was clear that the previous guest had smoked heavily in the suite and even tampered with the smoke alarm. The smell of smoke was very strong. About four or five hotel staff came to inspect the room and confirmed the problem. After some time, they informed us that they couldn’t move us to another suite because nothing was available. On top of that, the suite was dirty — it was not cleaned properly. They mentioned that we could get a refund, but said we would need to handle it ourselves because the booking was made through a third-party website.!

The breakfast was poor quality of food, bed super soft and uncomfortable, room was not very clean especially the bathroom

We were happy to get a reservation here for our one night stay. The staff and the breakfast were both very good. The only negative thing was the BLEACH. The smell of chlorine was quite powerful when we entered our room. There was so much bleach in the bed sheets that my skin was getting itchy and burny. Same thing with my eyes. I requested new pillowcases and that helped for my face. Next time I would just request the staff to use less bleach in the sheets. I also thought it was "nickle and diming" to charge $15 for outside, uncovered parking. There were PLENTY of spaces and no reason to charge other than to squeeze the customer a little more.

The room wasn't completely clean. There were bobby pins on the carpet in the bedroom.

The bathroom was NOT cleaned properly. There was hair in the shower. There was hair in the bathroom sink and on the counter.

The staff members were exceptionally courteous and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was not only spacious and spotlessly clean but also offered a fantastic view of Levi’s Stadium, which made the experience even better. The breakfast served was delicious and included a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall, everything about our stay was excellent, and we will definitely be booking here again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a wonderful stay!

Ants were all over the room, all in the bed, the couch and the kitchen.

All in all our stay was good, very clean facility, rooms were great, bed comfortable, spacious room and friendly staff. The issue we had was that we experienced alot of wind noise and air breezing from under the AC unit in our room. We had to stuff the extra bed sheet in our closet and wedge it between the gad under the AC unit where it is mounted to the window. We also had howling wind from under our front door due to the wind from the window. We took a large towel and propped it along the bottom side of the door like a door sweep and it settled the noise. We didnt alert the front desk as it was late at night, we were tired and wanted to go to bed.

The room was surprisingly big, clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome stay the only negative thing I would say was the difficulty to get internet service on property and it was hard to connect to Wi-Fi.

Great property, clean and safe. Big room with lots of amenities. The only complaint was with the king sized bed; it was old, lumpy, and bowed in the middle. Everything else was great.

The room size was perfect, better than we expected. The staff was friendly. The breakfast could more variety, such as yogurt, biscuits and gravy. But overall the food was cooked just right.

The Homewood Suites in North San Jose was an extremely pleasant place to stay on my visit. The staff was very helpful and professional. The room was clean and in good repair. Only downsides were that the mattress felt older and not as comfortable as i was expecting (but still vastly better than a Motel 6), and there was some road noise because of the hotel's proximity to the 88 freeway (my room was also on the freeway side).

Nice comfortable suites. Very spacious and modern. Very clean. One of the best we have stayed in in a long time. Close to the freeway and can be a bit noisy. Need a car to move around.

The breakfast was delicious! Good variety. Close to a lot of restaurants and right off the freeway for easy access. The only complaint I have is the noise from the freeway the windows must be old because that kept us up and made it hard to fall asleep. It was also close to the stadium and Great America

Everyone was so nice and helpful.

This was a beautiful clean hotel. No complaints other than the employee working who was checking people in. He was slow, and trying to be funny. When he got to me he didn’t even go over anything, just asked me to tap my card.

Check in was at 3. Upon our arrival at 4:00 they told us our room was not ready and to come back in 30min. We had travelled for a concert at Levi Stadium, which started at 6. We left, grabbed a bite, came back and got our key around 4:30. We had to wait in line a third time to get directions to the room as they were not clearly marked. Then, when we got to the room at nearly 5:00, it was still not done. Very frustrating.

Asked for 2 queen beds and was only given a 1 bed king room. Had multiple guests and no where to sleep. Very disappointed when asked staffed downstairs they were no help and had to stay in the same room.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, rooms were nice and clean.

Was woken up around 1am with people being loud outside and couldn’t fall back asleep. Cakes the lobby and still being loud. Was woken up by people on another floor. House keeping twice came into the room with only knocking and not announcing themselves twice.

I had to. Wait 40 mins because the guy at checkin shutdown the systems and couldn't get us checked. I had my two young boys in the car wait until 130am to get our reserved room. A bit cruel from my perspective, also no offer of any late checkout nor any comp breakfast. We sure as hell can't wake up that early for breakfast especially after this additional wait.

Had to walk 1.5 miles to get food.

There was broken glass all over the parking lot. Assumed from car windows being broken. When we asked we got a non answer as to the cause.

Nice clean place with big rooms, but there's is literally nothing around it. You are in an office park. Again, a fine place to rest your head and the free breakfast was better than most, but that's about it. Good biz hotel, as long as you aren't hungry.

Overall it’s a great place for quiet and comfort. I did witness homeless individuals car prowling.

Great service,, stayed new years eve, which was busy for them but still got fast friendly service with check in, getting extra items, ect. The rooms looked and smelled extremely clean, there was a mini game room. Hot breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, toast, bagel, oatmeal waffles, and potatoes. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our room was very nice and clean. Very quite. The breakfast was really good (a full breakfast) and the area was very clean and had an attentive staff.

Stayed with our 4 month year old and it was great. Hotel had a crib for our baby and the room had a small kitchen area to sanitize and wash babies bottles and things. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great.

Great room and value for all the room amenities. Full size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher! The breakfast on the other hand was not as good as I expected. Stale breads, sour coffee and the overall taste was bland.
