Room very clean, staff very friendly and helpful! The bar near the pool lacking in both choices for food and alcohol. Staff they are very friendly. Breakfast restaurant also very limited in choices.

Staff were friendly and excellent in a real non-corporate speak kind of way. Bed comfortable, pillows acceptable. Room had some damage/heavy scuffing on one wall, not typical of the rest of the hotel. Room price was supposed to be "all in" without extras, but a resort fee was added at the end. Hotel looked good in a minimalist kind of way.. Pricey... but not stupid expensive.

The Kimton Rowan is a very well-located hotel and very nice. But it’s very sterile and corporate feeling, almost like a very large 1000-room convention hotel. For this type of atmosphere, it should be priced at about $400 a night or less, not almost four times that like they charge. There are better, more interesting and intimate options.
