Outdated, not clean, lowest quality liquor & food, not worth the price. They are very pushy with upselling their elite member membership

The facility was clean and we had a nice stay with great amenities. The beach and pool were well maintained and pretty. The staff was excellent other than the people trying to upsell their membership/premier packages, which distracted us from our ability to relax and simply enjoy our vacation. If you are looking for a variety of meal options this is not the place to stay, but the food they did have was good and the restaurants staff were very lovely.

Overall, we did not enjoy our stay. While the room was beautiful and spacious and the pools were wonderful pretty much everything else was a bust. Our balcony overlooked a run down property next door. The evening entertainment was so loud we heard every single word and constantly felt the bass from our room. Do your research and understand that rip tide and wave warnings may stop you from swimming on this stretch or beach for large parts of the year. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions know that the staff are virtually useless and will not help you even if you speak Spanish. The entire time we felt like we were trying to be sold something whether it was their return customer package, spa package or something on the beach. Despite constant communication about things you can buy any request for help went unacknowledged. We tried to book with the Japanese restaurant multiple times with no success and when we showed up as recommended we were treated horribly by staff. I also didn't realize when booking that the restaurants are not open every day. Our air conditioner stopped working part way through, we had to call several times to get extra sheets and water, and one of the two tiny elevators was out the whole time when we were on the 7th floor. To top it off, the sell aloe in their convenience store for 30 USD. When I called and asked for a refund they said they'd give me one and never did. Go literally anywhere else.

This hotel was great. The employees there go above and beyond and they make the experience even better. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a view of the ocean and the city from our balcony. Great view. The pools were the best part for me. Water was crystal clear and very clean. They were also never overcrowded because there’s 3 decent size pools which was very nice. The food was also great. The Italian restaurant was especially good. We also loved our waiter Alan. Overall this was a great vacation spot and I plan to go back.
