Our overall stay was good. The hotel is very clean and breakfast was good. One complaint we had was the ac/heat unit was very loud. Loud enough it would wake us up throughout the night. Our other complaint is the swimming pool, it was freezing. We only used it once and not for very long.

Hotel was good for a family trip to KC. I did worry a bit about the location since they lock the exterior doors at 8pm, which was kind of inconvenient if you arrive after 8pm as you have to be buzzed into the lobby to check in, but we didn’t have any issues in the area. Room was plenty large for our family of 5 with 3 teenage children. The room did have a bit of a musty smell- like water sat too long in the dishwasher, but we really didn’t notice it after we first walked in. The beds were fine, the room was clean. The only real complaint was either the neighbors were really loud or the walls were very thin- but I think it was the neighbors… Breakfast was great and staff were friendly. Would stay again.

The hotel itself was great. There were homeless people panhandling in the parking lot. When you spend that much money for a room you don’t want to be harassed by homeless people.

This is a good place, the reason I have a 4 star is the pool is not heated or if it is, the temperature of the water was cold. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay.

Clean, comfortable property. Beds were extra comfy - considering this line of motel. Nice breakfast options. Convenient to I-35 & KCMo. Pool, while small, is nice - indoors so you can use year-round. Not a ton of stuff around the hotel, but there are good eateries within 5 min drive.

I was in town for a horse show at the American Royal Complex. I was concerned about finding a safe, clean and affordable hotel in the area but this one checked all the boxes. It was a 10 minute, hassle free drive to the American Royal Complex. Check in/Check out was fast, simple and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The parking was well lit, camera monitored and easy to navigate. Best of all, it was INCLUDED in the price! The hotel was secure, clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice beds, pillows, linens and shower. I was pleasantly surprised by the super functional kitchenette and sitting area space. The room was great! The coffee and breakfast were very good and was INCLUDED in the price. I found this hotel to be exceptional for my stay.

Parking lot was dangerous and the first night we stayed there several cars (at least 6+) were broken into that I saw. The hotel staff acted as if this was normal.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and comfortable. The location is close enough to all of the activities we planned. Everything was in working order and the kids loved the pool, which was well maintained. The only reason we cannot give 5 starts: my son found a moldy rotten apple under the bed and we found a toy in the room left by a previous guest.

It had a funky smell. Like sewer water or dirty cleaning supplies/equipment through the first level of the hotel. The room smelled like that too but I much have adjusted to it because when I would leave the room it smelled mildewy out in the lobby and fresher in the room. Considering it was a first floor room right next to an entrance and ice machine, it was pretty quiet. Everything was clean, staff was nice, good breakfast selection but a little hard to reach items on shelving unit with a utensil. Saw many people drop food. Awkward set up but very clean and fresh.

They put me in a room they hadn’t been serviced at first- the towels were dirty the pull out bed was pulled out and the second room I was in wasn’t much better. The shower had mildew and hair in it. There was food in the fridge. And the shampoo and conditioner weren’t stocked.

When we checked in that night, our floor had someones toenail clippings all over and there was grass on the bed as if someone laid down with their shoes on. We asked for someone to vacuum the floor while we were at dinner and they said yes but did not, the next day, we asked again and they said housekeeping would get to it but they never did so that evening I asked for the vacuum myself and they would not let me have it. So three of us slept in the only clean bed and we basically didnt take our shoes off until we were getting in bed. Staff was friendly though and the area was not bad at all, very quiet and very close to where we needed to be.

I really wish that I could say that I had an overall amazing experience. However, second and/or third hand cigarette contamination negatively impacted my stay, my experience, my comfortabiliy and to be honest reconsidering near future stays. I wish that I could have rates all stars however the overwhelming smell of smoke negatively impacted the overall experience.

The lobby and elevators smelled like sewage, the elevators were freezing and so was the pool - we always love to stay at Home2Suites for the spacious rooms and kitchenette but this one needs some work to it

The elevator smelled like week, I went in there with my husband, 18 month old and 6 week old and we immediately got out and told the front desk. Took the other elevator and our floor smelled like weed, better yet, reeked of weed

Hotel wasnt quite what we expected for the money but was in good location for us by hospital. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and breakfast wasnt anything to talk about, but overall the hotel was decent and clean.They need to replace the mattresses, they were pretty worn in our room. Was a little noisey in room next to us and above, but not unbearable. I would probably stay again if needed but for less money a night. The staff was friendly!

The room was nice and spacious. It was really nice having a kitchen. The only issue with cleanliness was there was a hairball under the bathroom pocket door. The kitchen sink and bathroom sink didn't have hot water but it was fine since the shower had plenty of hot water. It was really nice having the kitchen utensils, microwave and full refrigerator.

Our stay was great! The staff were polite and responsive. The hotel was clean, as was our room. However, there were two drawbacks for me: 1) the sheets and blankets were old, worn and thin; 2) the refrigerator leaked. Otherwise our stay was great!

Everything was great except for the clerk, JonShee. She would not answer the doorbell, so after several attempts and several minutes we walked around to another door and rang that doorbell. Again several attempts and several minutes. Finally I phoned the hotel and she never answered but she did come out and unlock the door. Never greeted us and never made eye contact, she was rude. A very cold reception after a 10 hour drive. The room and the rest of our stay was fine. Good location for the event we were attending at the T mobile Center. The room was comfortable and parking was convenient.

Wonderful Stay, great breakfast. Our daughter left her stuffed sheep that she has had since birth and we called after getting back home, 3 hours away and housekeeping found it and saved it for us to pick up at the front desk!

The staff member at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet! The stay was exactly what we needed for the time. It was only less than 10 minutes from downtown which was not bad. The breakfast offered a variety of different options. The room was clean but there was no hand soap provided to us. Besides that we were very comfortable and pleased with our stay!

We checked into our room and it smelled pretty bad. We checked in with Bester and she couldn’t get us into the same room type til the next day, but offered us some air freshener. We then discovered the remote and tv didn’t work. First thing the next morning Audrey got us into a new room, and it was great. The cleaning staff got it done immediately And we spent the rest of our stay in that room. Breakfast was great, lots of options between waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, eggs and cereal. Vanessa was there every morning with a smile and ready to help us find what we needed. My daughter adores her and she made breakfast even more enjoyable.

We had an issue with our booking the night before our stay. The manager worked with us and we were able to stay in the room we had planned. I feel the room could have been cleaner. I personally get grossed out if I see hair and I did. Other than that the staff was great!

First attempt to check in at the hotel waited 10 min cleaning lady passed me multiple times asking if i had beed helped advised no i think she whent to look for someone but never came back. Decided to leave so we could make it to our event on time even though we were tired and needed to clean up. Came back got checked in ready to relax got to first room and it had not been cleaned from last occpance beds unmade trash everywhere bathroom had to have had like 20 sopping wet towels from clogged over flowing toliet. Contacted front desk waited another 20 minutes and we were placed in a different room. They only person who seemed to care was the cleaning lady but no one even apologized for the mishap.

We drove to Kansas City MO for a football game and stayed at the Home2 Suites in Kansas at KU med center. Didn’t know when I booked that it was across the state line. We were very surprised and pleased with hotel and location was very convenient to everywhere. Will stay there again.

We enjoyed this hotel from the moment we walked in—friendly staff, hot teas, cocoa, coffee, and cookies daily, all free. The room was large, with an extra seating area and a curtain to draw for those heading to bed early while others wanted to stay up and catch their favorite shows. The kitchen was a plus as we cooked daily. Breakfast was offered for free, and it was delicious! It is an excellent location as we travel to the convention center daily. We would highly recommend and would stay again!

This place is a great value. Very friendly staff, very clean and a good place for a family to stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool area is nice. Breakfast has plenty of variety for everyone. I will stay here again.
