To start, The hospitality upon arrival was great. The room was clean and comfortable. I called for extra pillows and they never arrived. The sofa couch, which was used as an extra bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was old and lumpy. I think it would have been better had I just slept on the couch. The worst was the drapes that would not close all the way. The room was next to a lamp that let the light shine though. That was annoying. I can’t sleep with any light. The pool was warm, as stated. That was great because it was cold outside. Some pools say they are heated and are still cold. The breakfast food was good and warm. At check out, the front desk attendant asked how our stay was and I mentioned my Grand daughter was disappointed the popcorn machine wasn’t operational. She loves popcorn. The attendant apologized and told the children to pick out something from the market. Of course they did and were happy. I was grateful because she didn’t need to do that but her kindness made all the difference to me. My grandson wants to stay there again. So we will be back in the summer. Thank you.

I highly recommend staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Chula Vista. The hotel is very nice and clean, with a friendly and customer service-oriented staff. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of options for the whole family. The hotel was quiet, and there were TVs everywhere for convenience. My kids especially enjoyed the pool, and we had a blast playing basketball. The on-site convenience store was fully stocked with a wide variety of items, which was a big plus. Oh, and did I mention the gym and laundry room? Both are clean and well-maintained—very nice to have during a longer stay. I honestly have zero complaints, and I consider myself a tough reviewer! 😊

WOW! Pet-friendly! We got a studio room for 4 people and it was just enough! Service is amazing and room quality is amazing! Anytime we're going to a concert at the amphitheater we will definitely book here again! :) Shoutout to the crew that helped us out with our pet ! We apperciate you so much! Workers def deserve a raise !

A lot of construction around the property, no signage visible from the road and location is recessed, so it was difficult to find. No hot water for showers. Water was luke warm.

It was a nice new hotel near many restaurants and stores. Good for long term rentals as it has a kitchenette. My o my qualm was that our rooms AC was not working and there was a portable unit and it made the room muggy.

The lobby and breakfast was outstanding, as was the staff. The bathroom was the best I’ve been in - loved the shower! The full kitchen and dishwasher in the room was so handy. I also used laundry. But room layout makes it impossible for person in bed and kids on couch to watch tv at same time. Only way to fix it is 2 tvs.

Nice property. Serious ant problem that they are aware of. Kitchen, bathroom, living room area, all crawling with ants as soon as we walked in. All they did was acknowledge and apologize. Considering the prices, I expected a little more.

I would not recommend this hotel. During my stay, I found visible mold in the showers, which is unacceptable for any property claiming to provide a clean and safe environment. Mold poses serious health concerns, and it shows a lack of proper maintenance and care for guests. For the price, basic cleanliness should be the minimum standard. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the issue immediately, but based on my experience, I would not return.

Room was dirty and clearly not cleaned properly, underneath bed was empty Gatorade bottles from previous stay. Order towels and had to call twice more because of the long wait. Also they are not prepared for busy weekend since there were zero luggage carts available our entire stay so we had to make multiple trips to our hotel room.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I liked that the bedrooms were separated from the living room & kitchen. I also really liked the normal size fridge & kitchenette area! Main reason why we stayed. Also the staff are over the top amazing! So courteous & polite, & were quick to help us with our crib request. Would recommend & would stay here again.

Thus was probably the best and cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. Perfect location for upscale shopping. We enjoyed our visit. Rooms are spacious. Kitchen was a wonderful addition with fridge, microwave and dishwasher. High recommend. Safe and upscale area in Chula Vista.

It was a convenient location for going to a concert at the amphitheater, and we were pleasantly surprised. Front desk was quick to check us in and attended our request of a room on the ground floor. Room was roomy, beds were comfy, breakfast had a great variety of foods. Hotel looks newly constructed, as is the area it’s in. Walking distance from an outdoor mall with great eateries and an awesome brewery - Novo Brazil brewery.

Folks at desk very helpful. Housekeeping is poor or understaffed. Gladly signed up for every other room cleaning but they never came. After I called Front desk they did but did not replace missing items, towels. Etc they made the bed.

This was a great place to stay for my daughter and myself while we were attending multiple concerts in the area. I'm sure it will be much better once the construction is completed in the area because it was a little difficult to locate the entrance.

Amazing hotel! We will definitely be coming back I fell in love with this hotel. The stay was amazing . The room was perfect I never slept so good until now. The staff are so friendly very accommodating and so clean. The breakfast amazing they had everything restocked and never empty . Sad to leave but excited to come back !

This was our first time staying at this location and it was a great stay. The breakfast is okay- wished potatoes were offered everyday but what is offered satisfied the morning a bit. Regular Coffee was out a couple of times that I went just for coffee and had to get decaf since that is what was available. Overall no really complaints. We would definitely stay at this location again. We loved the spacious room we had and worked perfect for my daughter in a wheelchair.
