Very inconvenient location it is not possible to walk from the hotel you would need to take a taxi. The pool advertised is so small and dirty you definitely cannot swim in it you could maybe stand in it or just put your feet in but it’s in such an awkward spot there was never anyone using it. There was no breakfast available and no rooftop terrace as promised. The safe didn’t work, the TV didn’t turn on and was so tiny and when we would come back at the end of the day we would find our room an absolute sauna as the fan and AC were shut off by the staff. Would definitely not recommend staying here we ended up moving to a different hotel. It was our honeymoon and we were so disappointed. We tried reaching out to Expedia but we’re not able to receive any compensation. Do not book

I stayed in this property February didn’t get a chance to review it. The pool is tiny and in an inconvenient spot. Don’t think it’s cleaned regularly. You can probably wet your feet in it or stand awkwardly but not swim. The penthouse apartment was nicely decorated, but not necessarily a “penthouse.” I paid extra for breakfast included, and there is no breakfast there.. The area is out the way and not near downtown (by walking). You’ll need a car or taxi for sure. I wouldn’t stay again

Příjezd a ubytování vcelku dobré, žádný problém, parkování 2 noci v boční ulici, ale nic se nestalo. V hotelu malý bazén. K dispozici pitná vody z kanystru. Od přístavního centra asi 2,7 km, kam jsem jednou jeli autem a parkovali na placeném parkovišti, podruhé jsme šli pěšky. Hotel asi nově postaven. Wi-Fi fungovala a nic jsem během dvou noci a celkem tří strávených dní nepotřebovali.

La limpieza podría mejorar bastante. No hay estacionamiento. El desayuno no se sirve ahí, pero te dan cupones por los días en que te quedas para desayunar en otro lado. Si solo se busca un hotel para llegar a dormir, es una buena opción.

Nuestro hospedaje inicio bien, si grandes complicaciones, buena comunicación, sin embargo, el departamento que nos tocó (205), pese a tener buen aspecto y gran comodidad, tenia detalles que le restaban calidad, de todo lo que ofrecen, no tenia internet (usamos el de otro departamento y obviamente no tenia buena señal); los utensilios de cocina, en pesimo estado, sucios con cochambre y cuarteados; la estufa con quemadores obstruidos; la tv de la habitacion sin funcionamiento; los sofá-cama que ofrece el hotel, estan en sala, pero no tiene aire acondicionado esa zona. Fuera de los detalles, la recamara es muy cómoda, el baño muy limpio, la piscina, con mucho cloro, pequeña, pero bonita, la ubicacion del hotel, indeseable. Quizás halla sido por tema de rentar por la aplicación, que tuvimos la mala suerte de que nos hayan dado un departamento desafortunado

Muy tranquilo, te tienes que estacionar en la calle ya que no cuenta con estacionamiento, están muy conservadas las instalaciones, en general es cómodo.

Ocupa serio mantenimiento las puertas están en condiciones horripilantes la regadera avienta agua por todos lados las toallas están viejas la puerta del baño no cierra los aires ocupan mantenimiento la piscina no servía en definitiva no concuerda con la fotos las habitaciones.

Las villa están lindas, pero hace falta mantenimiento en las habitaciones, no hay televisor con señal en la recámara. El colchón se sentian los resortes, nos comentaron que ya lo iban a cambiar, hace falta aire acondicionado en la zona de la sala y el agua caliente tarda mucho en salir. En otras áreas el personal súper atento y amable buscando ayudar. Ayudaría tener un área donde estacionarse. Muchas gracias!

Vraiment pas cher mais contrairement ce qui est dans l'annonce, se trouve loin de la plage. Environ 40min a pied. Les photos sont trompeuses et l'endroit est moins beau que dans les photos. Vos payez pour un endroit ou aller dormir et et c'est tout. La piscine est médiocre.

Es un bonito lugar , un lugar con tranquilidad para poder descansar , sus instalaciones muy limpias. Ana la recepcionista muy amable , fue atenta a en todo momento de nuestra estancia. Tiene un trato muy personalizado para cada huésped.

The room was dirty, still had clothes and trash from previous people, walls and doors were brown with dirt when should have been white, no signal on the TVs, locks on doors and windows flimsy, some broken or about to break….. gentleman at the check in was pleasant but was gone early and wasn’t back till late morning…. Just not what I was expecting from the pictures Should have read reviews better before booking

The place is very dirty, horrible smell I can’t believe how this place is open, If you can choose another hotel do it Everything is in really bad shape the picture in this website is totally fake

I highly recommend Casa del Arbol, it is very spacious and clean. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

Ouff, que dire de bien, à part que les employés à l'entrée de l'hotel sont gentilles, accueillante, toujours prêtes à nous aider, ce sont de très bonnes employées. Pour l'hôtel c'est tellement sale

Las paredes y las puertas del inmueble (intermas) cuarto y baño estan muy, muy, sucias. Tienen años que no se pintan y la vdd que asqueroso.

El lugar es más pequeño de cómo luce en la noche, prendimos el aire acondicionado a las 8 pm que llegamos y enfriaba poco, a las 10:30 menos y 11:30 nada, era imposible dormir, estaba muy caliente el cuarto, ya no había nadie para apoyarnos a esa hora, nos fuimos a dormir a otro lugar, le avisé por WhatsApp a recepción y su respuesta fue: OK, solo OK, ningún interés por ayudar o disculparse por el inconveniente, NADA. Pésima experiencia

Apartment was clean but warn out. Paint was warned off on doors and walls, toilet seat bolts rusted off, stove was covered in rust and baked on grease, dishes stained from years of use, and broken safe. The kitchen was not functional. Fridge did not cool, stove propane full but could not get pilot to light, minimal cookware. Selected condo to prepare meals, had additional $2,000 in food expenses since no functioning kitchen. Not told until arrival that you could not flush toilet paper down the toilet. This is common but it was not stated on Travelocity posting. Pictures on the posting were misleading. Property owners posted pictures for all the units available plus sister property. Pictures I thought would be our condo turned out to be for Casa Luca. Pictures must be from first built because the unit was very much worn out and not fresh as the pictures displayed. Pictures gave an appearance of more space. 2nd bedroom did not have air conditioning unit. Door must stay open at nighttime to receive cool air from common aera. Cement furniture and bed bases with thin mattress. This is common but should have thicker padding to not feel cement while sleeping. WIFI not consistent. Strong signal if in the common area but no signal in bedrooms. Pool was small and close to units. Pictures made pool appear larger and hid closeness to the first-floor units. To respect tenants, we could not use the pool as we would accidently splash on to their sitting area or the kids. Loud neighbors.

Nous avons couché deux nuits à cet endroit. Nous étions au 6 ième étagé. Très propre, ultra gros balcon, lit confortable. L'annonce indicait qu'il y avait un divan lit. Ce n'est pas le cas. Il s'agit d'un lit extra qui se trouve sur une petite mezzanine que tu montes avec une échelle. Parfait pour les enfants qui peuvent s'amuser. Point négatifs = Les murs sont en carton donc on entend parfaitement les communications du voisin. Aucun essuie à vaisselle pour essayer.

THE STUDIO PENTHOUSE IS NICE. REAL BIG BALCONY. I WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN BUT THE BED IS OLD AND CHEAP. MY BACK HURT. ONCE THATS FIXED WE ARE A GO!!!!!!!!

Check-In unkompliziert und einfach. Das Apartment liegt in einer größeren Anlage und ist eigentlich eine vollwertige Wohnung. Leider hatten sie einen Rattenbefall, deswegen war das Sofa noch nicht wieder hergerichtet. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, um seinen Aufenthalt zu genießen. Das WLAN funktionierte nicht, man konnte aber die Zugänge der anderen Apartments leicht nutzen.

My room was very spacious. It was clean I enjoyed the two balconies and the bed was very comfortable m. Dishes, pots and pans were not the greatest, but if you complain, I managed to get two brand new frying pans! In the kitchen, I only had one water faucet, cold water. I had to hear my water for dishes. That wasn’t too bad. They did not supply drinking water. That was a tough one, because my water supply was transported on my back (71 yrs old). The staff were friendly except for one sour puss at the office. Zucette was in the office was a sweetheart! Language barrier with all the staff

Our stay at Casa del Arbol was great! The pictures weren't 100% accurate but we got a GREAT price so were not complaining. The place was very clean. There was no patio furniture or anything outside on the huge patio.. just a cement table. Unfortunately the receptionists couldn't remember the wifi passwords so we had no wifi for the first night. We also noticed that the shower and the bathroom tap were shocking us while using the water. We did feel a little unsafe and that the electrical definitely isn't up to our standard. But again, we paid next to nothing for this penthouse so it wasn't the biggest deal. But this room was in a nice, safe and quiet location in Playa and allowed us to easily explore the city.

Es un bonito lugar , un lugar con tranquilidad para poder descansar , sus instalaciones muy limpias. Ana la recepcionista muy amable , fue atenta a en todo momento de nuestra estancia. Tiene un trato muy personalizado para cada huésped.

The overall stay was good and the price was very reasonable for what was offered. However, we were given a different room than the one we originally booked, which was disappointing. While the alternative room was still open clean and comfortable, it didn’t have the specific features or layout we were expecting, like a loft bed we had anticipated for our 9 year old son. It would’ve been helpful to have been notified in advance or offered a choice. That said, the service was decent and the location worked well for our needs as we spent a majority of our time out exploring.

Very dirty and outdated place. We could not stay there for the time of our vacations. Communication with the staff only in Spanish nobody speaks English. Stay away from this place!!!! I

Excelente atención. Limpieza. Transporte cerca. Pará llegar caminando un poco solitario. Pero voy muy contenta. Cuando vuelva a playa del carmen. Me quedo de nuevo ahí. Excelente servicio

This location is off the beaten path and away from the loud and overwhelming tourist zone of the Playa. Note that there is a shopping centre, grocery store and Oxxo all within a 15-minute walking distance. The staff Susy and Eric were incredibly friendly and amazing property hosts. The penthouse room was clean, spacious and the bedroom was comfortable and cool. Note that the room is on the top floor so the sun will heat up the cement and the A/C in the living room will not always be able to compensate. Get a cheap stand-up fan at Walmart and problem fixed!

I appreciate that at the hotel was calm, it's about 20 - 30 minutes from downtown, so without any city noises. The service was nice and helpful if you needed some information.

Great spot if you want to be away from the downtown area. Trying to get a taxi is very challenging and costly.
