The only reason we havent given 5 stars, is because we found the site very loud especially after 11pm which it states in there rules. Sadky this didnt deter some of the people staying around are tent. (Not being a kill joy, but at 11pm which young kids, you'd expect loud music to be switched off, and unruly kids screaming to be told to hush). Other than that, the tent was amazing, the facilities were alot better than we were expecting and we where greeted by the hostess on arrival, we could have asked for much more really. Basically, it all depends on who else is using the site while your staying (pot luck) but well worth giving it ago.

I specifically booked the type of cabin that I did as the Hotels.com website stated that this had a private bathroom. However I was informed on arrival none of the glamping pods had private bathrooms, all had to use the communal facilities. As someone with disabilities this was alarming for me. I had to visit the toilet twice in the night, at, both times having to walk from our cabin to the toilet block and there were men hanging around at 2.15am. It was a difficult walk for me. Had I known there was no private toilet facilities in the accommodation I would not have booked it. The pod looked large in the photos when booking, but was tiny in reality. We were informed we had a fridge allocated in the kitchen, but it transpired 'our' fridge was shared between 3 pods, and on arrival it was stuffed full, with no room for any of our food. The pod was horrendous, it was dirty, the beds were so uncomfortable and creaked so loudly every time anyone so much as breathed, none of us slept more than 10 minutes the whole night. The chain holding the cooking grill above the tripod bbq outside our cabin broke towards the end of the cooking, resulting in all the food falling into the flames below. By the time we managed to rescue it, difficult due to the chain being in the fire and as such burning hot (silly us, we forgot our asbestos gloves!) the food ended up being burnt, almost beyond being edible. This was not a happy event for any of us., and it was overpriced for what we got!
