Beautiful small hotel. We stayed in a double room. Room was tight but very clean and modern. Breakfast had good options. Hotel had elevator which was definitely a plus. Good location and easily accessible to Kensington Olympia tube station.

Incredible property for such reasonable rates. Modern, clean, quiet and well appointed rooms. Beautiful tree lined street. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely courtyard and breakfast room with large window view. Free breakfast with good selections. We were able to bike to Kensington palace and park. Bus routes at top of street. Only wish the Tube was closer. Couldn’t have been more happy we chose this place.

Fab hotel. Friendly staff and beautiful furnished room. Only a few things that were an issue. The TV had a signal issue and did not work. There was faulty light in the bathroom which made the bathroom extra dark. Breakfast was great, beautiful garden to sit in the morning. Would stay again

Very clean and fresh towels daily and room cleaned each day. Very close to Olympia Station if you want to use trains/tubes. If you want to go to Buckingham Palace, turn left, walk down to end of street, turn left and go 1 block. #9 bus takes you in to town. Great place to stay unless the elevator breaks and you have a disabled parent with you. Not so easy to take luggage up and down, either. Young man on the desk was extremely rude when elevator broke twice during our stay. All other staff were great! Breakfast adequate, but nothing special. Shower was great, but could use grab bars for disabled persons. Would probably stay again.

The hotel staff was very nice, the room was small, but clean with a comfy bed. The control/light switches were a bit odd, but we were only staying for 2 days so we just lived with it. The shower had 2 options: Rain shower or handheld. I chose the handheld but it was broken and I was worried about spraying outside of the stall, there was no shower curtain. They had a breakfast available downstairs with a lovely outdoor space. I would definitely stay here again.

What an absolute gem of a hotel in a quiet, side road in leafy Kensington. We booked last minute and this was cheaper than a premier inn but far superior in every way. Spotless room, great breakfast, great facilities, quiet, safe and cosy. Thank you 👍

Clean rooms and bed, however, we were in a small, dark basement room with peeling wallpaper, carpet that had not been laid properly, and a heavily curtained window on a remote which offered a pre-determined amount of light. Although the tv was apparently hooked to a satellite, there were only 2 channels available, featuring period dramas from the early 1990’s. Bathroom featured only two small, sour smelling towels for two people without face cloths (we did ask). The breakfast was uninspired with eggs that turned grey from not being refreshed, cold, uncovered hash browns, sausages that were full of filler, canned mushrooms and milk left on the counter. The breakfast area was not monitored by staff, very few serving utensils available leading to cross contamination, counters littered with stray cornflakes, bits of cheese, toast crumbs and dirty dishes. For the most part the staff was pleasant, although one staff member was napping at the front desk, then complained about how bored she was when we joked with her about sleeping on the job. We will not return to this hotel.

The bed was soft and comfortable. The shower was good. Water pressure in the handbasin was a trickle and drain flies were coming out of the overflow hole. The room was very small and wasn't vacuumed in the week we stayed there. I wouldn't stay there again.

No room guidance on how lighting system operated and as all electricals worked from a small about 2"x3" wall & bed mounted units with 10 very small buttons on them. No way of knowing what button to press to operate lights unless able to memorize sequence of buttons. The TV had only 2 channels that worked and retuning not allowed.

Whenever the door to another room, corridor or the breakfast area opened our door would bang as it didn't sit properly in the latch, consequently we didn't get much sleep as the door was banging during the night and early morning. The only window in the room looked into the breakfast room, so we couldn't open the curtains in the room at all.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Great location near Kensington Olympia station, easy to get everywhere with train/tube. Included breakfast was nice, the only small negative is, the hotel room was very small, bathroom also small, however everything was great. We would stay there again.

Location is great with one station across the road and 3 others around 20mins walk away. Hotel reception staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was a bonus and had a good variety. Our room was clean, well equipped and quiet. Would return.

The property is located in an area that felt very safe and was within walking distance of a train station to easily travel as needed. Was also located near several restaurants and shops to pick up anything needed. The room was great aside from the shower. The large shower head in the ceiling had very poor water flow while the handheld nozzle had much more power. My room was located on the lowest level of the property which was very secure but also a bit noisy since I could hear all foot traffic activity in the front office which was directly above my room. The breakfasts each morning were great with a lot of variety. I would recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in the London area.

A friendly hotel in a quiet and safe area. The rooms are compact but comfortable and nicely furnished. Good transport links for the city. Nice areas locally to walk around and visit. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely little hotel on a quiet residential street, close to Kensington High Street and the Kensington Olympic Station which gave easy access to all major tube lines. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Our double room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was in a lovely quiet room adjacent to the internal courtyard with outside seating. Lots to choose from at breakfast. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Kensington Prime if and when we come back to London.

Breakfast was buffet style in the greenhouse area which was nice. They had a good variety of foods available. Even though they had the same food every day they had a nice variety so you could have something different each day.

Good location for access to central London, or travel to Wimbledon for tennis. Very friendly and accommodating staff (in the main). Room in basement did have windows, but was quite dark and overall maintenance could be improved. Bathroom very dull, as one of the spotlights and the over mirror lights were broken. Informed reception (don’t think this was news to them) and nil fixed whilst we were there. It was pretty quiet at night, which was great. Pillows included a memory foam option that was comfy, but unfortunately mattresses not great. Breakfast ok - pretty limited options (same every day) and hot food not very hot.

Rooms were small but well furnished. Receptionist was very friendly (as were other staff), hotel was clean and tidy throughout. It's a small hotel, only around15 rooms. We were at the front and room was quiet, with only a small amount of traffic noise. Breakfast was a little disappointing as no bacon on the cooked option and the coffee machine was out of order (so only instant coffee available). Best bet for public transport is bus, with nearest stops a couple of minutes walk away - includes a route straight into central london (Aldwych). The nearby tube station is only open when there are major events on at Olympia

I was in the lift when it broke down. It was a horrendous experience. I did not know if l would be there five minutes or five hours such was the absence of information and confusion. By banging on the lift door l captured the receptionist’s attention, who did her best in spite of clearly next to no support from the hotel manager who didn’t even attend! The hotel has no proven tested strategy in place. I was able to call the lift engineer support who told me the incident was on their list, were sympathetic but gave no time of arrival, simply a text saying ‘you’re on the list’! The excellent receptionist somehow managed to prise open the door for me to escape, only for the door to snap shut again after. The hotel manager apparently refused my reasonable request for a refund. I was also refused his name. A disgrace to paying guests. Avoid ir if you must book, use the stairs.

Room was clean. Small but all you needed for overnight stay. Had a fridge and sink which was good. Safe, slippers and hairdryer. Shower head seemed too big for the space and only few of the jets worked. Room was right next to the kitchen which was a little noisy in the morning but could not smell the food. Staff polite and welcoming.
