MOXY Seattle Downtown

Upon entry to the hotel I was hesitant, as I was not sure if it was the check in desk. But rest assured it really is. You enter into such a warm welcoming space that has a full service bar and lots of wonderful seating. The staff all weekend were so kind, considerate and helpful. Their "small bites" breakfast menu was just perfect as well as their grab and go sandwiches. The rooms are so warm and cozy. They are the perfect size with everything you need so incredibly, decoratively organized! Housekeeping staff was so effecient and accomadating. I cant say enough about this hotel. It was absolutely perfect!!! Be sure to try their signature cocktail 🍹

I liked how welcoming the staff were. Also I like the shuffle board, corn hole and other games available in the lobby.

Extremely overpriced hotel. The room was mediocre: small and minimal amenities—no closet, safe, or refrigerator. The sink leaked water on the floor. The gym was adequate but had only one bench. The check in and reception done at the bar. The staff were all very helpful and tried to be accommodating but not worth the overpriced rooms.

No parking available, had to park on the street.

MOXY was great! The staff were super friendly and the room was excellent! The lobby/bar was a great spot to start our night!

The lobby and vibe is pretty cool. Different games and fun bar in the lobby. Their check in process was slightly hampered due to the Crowdstrike outage but they managed and staff was friendly and apologetic. One of two elevators was out. Good location, a few parking garages close by that turned out cheaper than their close by competitors own garages. Room is small but clean.

The lobby is a bar, with all these cool games, shuffle board, see-saw, lifesize chess, and many more. fireplace too. Room is narrow, and industrial (Very NYC) comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Great view of city.

The lobby area was nice, clean and offered entertainment. It was centered to a lot of the activities we had planned for the weekend. The staff was very friendly.

Rooms were clean, equipment in gym was in good condition, good vibe, plenty of on street parking on the weekend (a little more difficult on the weekday).

We waited almost 2 hours after check in for our room to be ready in the lobby. When we were told on 10 minutes a couple of times. My partner was really frustrated, we were given room keys when we still couldn’t check in. We kept being told they had to “check if the room was clean.” And switched us from the 7th floor to the 8th but neither rooms were ready. The gal up front seemed like she was trying her best but it’s obvious the other staff wasn’t communicating with her. Upon arriving in the room it was dirty. Outside the room was an abandoned housekeeping set up and we never once saw anyone’s there. On the elevator ride up a lady on the 3rd floor said they got to check in early (we also arrived 1.5 hrs early) but the gal said housekeeping has been there and were really loud. We waited so long we decided not to call down when entering the room because we would have had to wait even longer. We got a couple of free snacks and gifts which were already apart of our room set up because my partner proposed last night and asked ahead. We were late to the show we drove 4 hours to see. At night they don’t tell you the price of snacks in the lobby until after you pay. There aren’t prices on anything. The lobby bathrooms were filthy and trash was all over the floors. Like I said this weekend was a proposal and it really was almost ruined by how frustrating and gross the experience was. Upon entering the room my partner was already upset, they were late and we had to clean the room

Had to change rooms 3 times until we finally got a clean room without broken furniture and house cleaning didn’t coming clean during our 2 night visit

One elevator was down for my entire stay and it wasn’t very clean. Good location though.

I like the location. I found thug underwear that was not mine. Dirty shower with dark mold. Dirty floor no, cabinet for coat. No dresser for cloths . They had hock for what? Terrible...

Everything was good about our stay. The only complaint I have is that there is no closets or drawers to put our clothes in.

I recently stayed at Moxie Hotel in Seattle for a work trip and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, the hotel's internet was down—a significant inconvenience for anyone traveling for business. While I appreciated the offer of a house drink as a gesture, it didn’t make up for the disruption it caused to my work. The room itself was very small, and I was assigned one next to a service closet, which meant constant hallway noise throughout the night. Sleep was difficult due to the interruptions. The hotel's main advantage was its proximity to my workplace, which was convenient. However, overall, I found the stay underwhelming given the price point. In my opinion, the property is somewhat overrated for what it offers.

Perfect hotel. Yes you don’t have a fridge or a closet. But I was here for the weekend and everything was so accessible. This was a win for Pride weekend 10/10

I had to stay in a room without AC or heat and was so uncomfortable, it was ridiculous. I called the desk in the AM and was told a "pump" was out.. it would be fixed. I left for the day, came back, and it was still out. I called again and was told it would be fixed. I came back around midnight that night and SAID NOPE! Not again. I was offered a fan, I think NOT. RIDICULOUS. This should have been taken care of the night of. So, I was moving into a new room at 1 AM and leaving the next day. What a mess. The room was small, tight, and honestly not impressive outside of being suffocatingly stagnate air the two days I was there. What a nightmare.

Nice hotel, but the rooms were too small. I understand the concept of a more European experience of a hotel, but there was literally no room to put anything down. With bags/suitcases on the floor, it was difficult to maneuver through the room.

Staff was really nice

The establishment was clean and had entertainment in the common area. The general manager gifted my wife & I after having a good conversation with us. The staff were ALL pleasant & when our iron stopped working, it was replaced with a new one within 1-2 minutes. One of my favorite stays!

This was one of the best check in experiences. Natalie at the check in desk is amazing, she epitomizes customer service. Our stay was top notch.

I cannot praise the staff enough! They brought extra blankets and an extra chair so my husband and I could sit in the room. They were responsive to requests . When my husband was having discomfort walking they found a cane someone had left to loan him. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return myself.

They need to have a dedicated front desk instead of having the check-in at the bar. Also, bartenders do not tend bar very well. I asked the female bartender for a lime, she gave me a look like I asked her to end world peace, and then handed me the lime with her bare hands. Very tacky. Other than that had a nice stay.

The check in process was a bit disappointing as my room was not ready when I arrived at 5:00pm. However, the room itself was great and the staff were friendly. The representative at the front who I spoke with, Elias, did a great job of managing a long lineup of guests as best as he could and was helpful in keeping me updated on the status of my room as I waited for it to be assigned. A general recommendation for hotel management is to add at least one more staff member to the check-in desk during the busier check-in/out times.

Fantastic staff who allowed us to check in early after shuffling some rooms. Made a pleasant experience even more enjoyable. Complimentary drinks on arrival. Highly recommended

Overall I enjoyed this hotel. It has a unique quality that I liked. The common area was both cozy and lively. I live in the same city where I stayed and would stay there again. My only complaint is that I made 2 attempts to call down to the "front desk" and my call went unanswered both times.

Our stay in Seattle, while brief, was beyond our expectations. Thank you to the staff at Moxy for making our stay much more memorable and enjoyable. Elijah was the true star of our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent; allowing us to check in 4 hours before our check-in time was honestly the best part of our first day and any recommendations he made for us were much appreciated (we visited two spots). We know where we are staying for our next trip. Elijah and Moxy Seattle made the choice that much easier for us. We cannot wait to come back. Happy Holidays, and thank you (from two Chicagoans)!!

Safe walkable it feels like a Jen so close to lake union and space needle

The Moxy is a very unique type of chain, very focused on creating social spaces for adult travelers. Please know that the rooms will be smaller with little furniture. I have stayed at several and this has been my favorite. Excellent staff, really comfy beds, safe area of the city, walkable to the space needle and pike place

This is a very well located minimalist hotel within easy walking distance of Lake Union and Seattle Center. Recommended.

We loved the Moxy, Highly recommend to book! Close to the pike about a mile or so, good dining options as well, comfy bed, amazing staff. All around would book again

We were in town for one night, the Moxy was very convenient to get to off the freeway, close to restaurants and bars. The hotel is fun and eclectic.

The Bar is nice but the quality of craft cocktails is poor. I don’t mind spending $20 for a martini but it should be a good pour and shouldn’t have stale olives. Room was nice and bed was comfortable but I had to call for a plunger cause the toilet had issues. Some Staff did not seem to know the area well for recommendations.

My only complaint was the bar closing at 10 But the price was very fair and the experience was great

Super cute, clean, and quiet with check-in and check-out. I love that they give you drink tickets for the bar, but at other Moxy properties I’ve stayed at, the tickets work for wine and beer, too, not just coffee or one signature cocktail.
