We decided to stay at the home 2 because of the high rating. What a mistake, under staffed the whole 7 days of our stay which meant no room cleaning for the first 5 days, limited breakfast service, pool closure due to no cleaning of the pool or the bathroom which was beyond disgusting, we felt very bad for the workers who did show up. We will stay at the hotel we normally chose when visiting Bloomington from now on.

Spacious rooms with great amenities, kitchenette, breakfast, Pelton gym, pool, laundry. Staff was extremely friendly. And reasonably priced, especially in the area on an IU visiting weekend!

Spacious room, great layout. Has clean fitness ctr, pet area and pet friendly, nice pool. Sorry breakfast is really lacking. Ample parking. Beds were squeaky.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast staff so friendly, and yummy. Elevator door sticks sometimes so you may get claustrophobic but overall a great stay! Beds super comfy and free water.

Love ample parking, gym, pool, spacious clean suite. Pillows and bed linens were soft and cozy. Suite layout was functional with curtain between beds and pull out couch. Clean room, lots of outlets located in functional spots all over the room. Good lighting, love the kitchen area, frig, dishes, sink. Only thing I disliked was the breakfast. Nothing tasty.

Kendall is awesome. She helped me with managing boxes I shipped there and assured me everything was fine. A great employee!! The bathroom wasn’t perfectly clean, there were hairs in it. Overall a very easy place to stay for move-in and we will stay again.

Room was very spacious and loved the extra counter space. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were cozy. Staff was very friendly. Decent breakfast. Only downside is that walls/ceiling are thin so you can hear people walking above you.

This property was conveniently located for the graduation held at IU and dining, shopping . Only issue was the AC, no matter what it was set on always hot during the night. It would seldom cut on.

Not allowed to check-in. Secured a five day stay with a credit card. The hotel cancelled our stay without even so much as a heads up phone call. The woman working at the front desk was belligerent and hostile, wouldn't allow check-in and stated the hotel was full. There was inventory available online at the hotel which made him assume this statement was false. We did not even receive an e-mail to notify us that Home2Suites had cancelled the reservation prior to his arrival. We were charged for one night and parking despite no stay.

I would give this property 5 stars, it’s a great location, it’s clean, everyone is nice BUT there were zero working elevators and the staff seemed completely unconcerned. Several said, “the left elevator works, it’s just acting up a little”. That acting up meant it didn’t actually come up to the 4th floor and we witnessed the “1” flashing and the door opening and closing on its own. We first noticed problem at 5pm on Saturday, when we came back at 11pm and asked if someone was fixing it, we were told it was too late to call someone. What about 6 hours earlier? At 11am it was still not working and the front desk staff still didn’t seem interested in calling maintenance. Luckily we were ok walking up and down 4 flights, but what about those who can’t?

We drove from 4 hours away into time change and check in was ridiculous. It took over 40 minutes because the guys didnt know what he was doing. They over booked rooms and had broken beds in others. He then said sorry but the pool closes in 5 minutes. So we booked a hotel with a pool and never got to go swimming. My son was very upset. Dealing with a young man that disabilities and hormones in tough enough at 17. That was what he was looking forward to doing before bed.

Great stay. The staff were so friendly and when I asked for an ice scraper to tackle the snow and ice on my car, Jalen, at the front desk offered her own from her car! That is going so above and beyond. Thank you so much, Jalen! You turned a would be stressful situation for a Floridian into a smooth and welcoming visit despite the challenges. Hats off to Home2 and their great staff.

Great hotel, fair service. Overall the room and hotel are very clean. Breakfast staff was somewhat overwhelmed but the breakfast was acceptable with prepackaged breakfast sandwiches. Our room was very clean. We requested housekeeping during our stay just to empty trash, replace towels and refill soap dispensers but they never came.

Loved this hotel. It was a great location that was convenient for a campus visit to IU. Our room was modern, clean & cozy with lots of extra room and storage. The kitchenette added an extra convenience if we gad been there for a longer visit.

Very nice staff. Very clean in the room, common areas, and pool area. Pool was neat, clean, and warm. It was very loud above us until 10:30 pm- it sounded like running and jumping above us. I didn’t contact staff, since I figured I’d give it some time and eventually it quieted down. The breakfast buffet was very nice, but kind of slow to be restocked with oatmeal and coffee.

I did not like the multiple large utility trucks and trailers parked in the hotel parking lot. I also did not like how much activity I could hear in the rooms next door. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The area to eat breakfast is very small.
