Elevator was broke. Staff didn’t tell us until after we had completed check in. I have a bad knee and going up and down stairs was not appropriate at the time. Staff was not accommodating and acted like they didn’t want to be there either. I, personally, will never stay there again.

Hotel was very clean, staff was great. Only negative on our stay is the elevator was broke while we were there and we were on the 3rd floor, so taking our things back and forth wasn't easy.

Hotel was very clean and nicely appointed. Staff was friendly and amenities exceeded my expectations. The dining/living common areas were spacious and furniture was comfortable. The outdoor fire pit and patio space was perfect for a mild January evening.

Location is close to KU, so a great spot to sleep while catching a game. The front desk service was excellent. There is a nice fire pit and a great lounge area.

Pool area was small but open til midnight & fire pit area was right outside pool nice & inviting even on warm night breakfast was absolutely delicious biscuits n gravy scrambled eggs some yogurt waffles if ya want cereal bagels toast juice all that goodness room space was wonderful & beds were slumberlicious short drive to town center which was adorable & walkable enjoyed my stay definitely book again thanx

Great hotel on the east edge of town. We were the game weekend and the place was well cared and clean. A little tricky to get to from 23rd. It would be nice to have an EV charger(s) on site.

It seemed unclean. The elevator was dirty. Only 2 hand towels for 3 1/2 days. No cold water and we were in 2 different rooms and still none. Hard to take pills with warm water. Bed linens looked worn out and blah. Just gave off a yucky vibe

This is a newer hotel in an area of the city that is developing. As such I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the public areas. Of course a midnight fire alarm doesn't improve my impression. The desk clerks refusal to offer any compensation for the inconvenience of the midnight alarm was icing on the cake.

Overall, it was fine. Not exceptional, but fine. The beds are not very comfortable, and the pillows are pretty terrible. Our bath mat was a ratty, threadbare mess. It would also be nice to have a shelf on both sides of both beds. Breakfast options were very basic, but fine.

We were in the very first room 119 inside the hotel to the right. This room shared a wall with the elevators. We heard these running until late in the night. Our room was also directly across from the pool and lobby. The pool does not close until midnight. Several youth travel teams were staying at the hotel and there wasn’t much supervision. Our daughter was trying to exercise and several teenage boys came in throwing stuff around and took over the area so much so that she had to leave. The teens continued to be very loud until front desk told them to be quiet around 11 pm. We had a 500 plus mile trip to complete the next day so this was upsetting that we didn’t get the rest we needed. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself was clean however with the rudeness of some of the other people staying we would likely not stay here again.

The room was clean, had everything we needed for an overnight stay while traveling. Building and lobby were nice. Beds were comfortable. The only negative was the pillows are horrible… flat, no support. Breakfast was what you’d expect. Would return… with my pillow!

I stayed here because it was close to KU and had great reviews. Unfortunately, they were wrong. This hotel has NO internet connectivity. Their excuse was that the hotel was "very full" and that explains why the wifi was so slow as to be unusable. Sorry, in 2025 that is unacceptable for people who need to WORK and need wifi. The hotel is also built like a bunker so I got one small bar on my cell. In addition, the beds were like slabs of concrete and the towels were see-through rags. Radisson, come on!

Had a very unpleasant experience at this property. Was staying here for about a week for business. About halfway through the trip, I got in from work at around 9pm and still had some reports to do on my iPad. My partner was already asleep in the room so I decided to do my reports in the lobby. I went inside, minding my own business, and while I was not in a great mood, I didn’t say anything to anyone, I just wanted to finish my work as quickly as possible and go to sleep. The staff member Renee was working that night and was sitting in the lobby and just glared at me as I sat down. I looked at here, looked back at my iPad, and then looked up again shortly after and she was still glaring at me. I asked her if I could help her and she condescendingly asked “actually can I help YOU?” I responded no, that I just wanted to do my work and go to sleep. She then just kept staring so I finally said “do you not think I’m staying here or something?” And then proceeded to jokingly tell her she could check my key and ID, which she took and returned to me about 10 minutes later, no apologizing for how rude she was. I told her it was rude of her to stare and make customers feel unwelcome. She told me it was rude that I wasn’t letting her do her job and that I wasn’t a customer I was guest. It was a very unpleasant experience that ruined the stay. I spoke to Justin about it the next morning and sent him an email about it. He told me Ivan would get back to me but he never did. Terrible stay.

The rooms (had two rooms while there for business) were clean, very functional, and stocked well. I couldn't complain at all about the environment itself, but I can absolutely RAVE about Alicia who seemed to work nights. She was ALWAYS welcoming, willing to help or provide information about where to eat and go, and gave protips on the area. All the staff was friendly, but this woman deserves a raise! While I would probably have chosen to come back if I need to be in Lawrence again for work if the price was right again, I will return no matter what knowing that she works here. I travel a lot for work, and usually don't expect much from the staff beyond being friendly and the rooms in good repair and clean, but this visit just made the bar higher for all of my future travels.

The staff at the Country Inn and Suites completely took my situation in mind and was so courteous. After arriving in town from Chicago for a tour of KU I realized we had a vehicle issue that morning and had to drop the car off at the dealership. Not knowing when I'd get it back my family was forced to uber to the campus and around town. Justin and fellow co-workers allowed me an my family to check out late while we got our car situation taken care of. Luckily it wasn't a major problem at the dealership and we got the car back at 1pm. Thanks for being understanding when emergencies like this occur.

I asked for bed to be made and clean towels daily. I stayed 6 days. Room was done once and fresh towels twice. Breakfast potatoes and sausage was too spicy to eat. Scrambled eggs every day--more variety would be nice. lifting a gallon jug of milk, approx 8 lbs, waws not easy. Why no individual containers. Visit that area often. Won't stay again.
