Tru by Hilton Sterling Heights Detroit

The hotel was clean the room was super clean and the hotel has a nice scent throughout it and the staff is always friendly and helpful

There is a huge crack in the shower that is obviously known because it’s been caulked over, but caulked very badly. Secondly, the outside window blind is broken

Room was gross, someone literally wiped poop on the wall and it was left there. Crumbs all in the bed frames, weed coming through the vents. People screaming and running in the hallways until 4 am. A guy literally smoking a blunt right outside the front door and the staff says nothing. Yogurt machine? Empty. Pancake machine? Broken. Milk was spoiled. There was a sweet girl at the front desk that worked at night and one elderly gentleman that cleans that’s nice but other than that it was not a great stay. I came here for a hockey tournament and I’m the one that convinced our team to stay here because I always love staying at the Tru but this one was not good. I do have videos and photos to prove what I’m saying if you’d like. Thanks

Everything was wonderful, the only thing I would say that could improve is the breakfast options.

Quick stay with the family. Pool was great for the children. Would recommend this hotel!
