Very Nice rooms but if you don’t stay on the first floor, you don’t have any equipment for your Room no coffee pot or any dishes to use for the kitchen area And they have none to give you!

When booking I thought there was dishes in the room it wasn’t false advertisement couldn’t even eat my food they didn’t have a fork. When to do laundry they have a laundry room they were all out of detergent…everything was horrible got up for work at 5am man was standing at the front door trying to get just an overall unpleasant experience. The front desk attendant was very nice & understanding that’s it!

Had a long wait to finally have someone check us in at the ‘kiosk’. Room stinks of weed. Only one little bar of soap to use for hand sink and shower. Had to run out to purchase more. Dislike not having a physical staff member around to rectify these problems.

Took a while to check in because the kiosk wouldn’t work to check in and no-one was working the front desk. The room was clean besides the floor being really sticky and a lot of hair still in the bathtub.

There was no receptionist on duty at night. We checked in through a machine. We got a room that appears was not ready to be occupied as it was not clean. We got two small pillows for two queen beds. Sticky floor, hair on the bathroom sink, no facial tissue, broken toilet paper holder, stained towel, dirty shower curtain, and not even a single clothes hanger, lol. Just glad the heater and toilet works, and beds are ok. 😳 The TV turns on but it just kept lagging. But the most annoying part was the loud noise above us (not sure what was going on! it was like someone was fixing something and/or running/walking back and forth.. it went on past midnight, noise woke me up again around 4am. Ugh!). This was our first stay at Woodspring Suites and not a good one, unfortunately.

I will never stay at a Woodbridge again. I had good experiences before at Woodbridge, but this was a serious disappointment. The room wasn’t ready when we checked in, so we sat in the lobby until 3:15. When we got to the room, even though it was “cleaned” was still very dirty (food in microwave, crumbs on floor, rice on the shelf, and toothpaste stains on bathroom faucet.)

The room was not properly cleaned. The sheets (was told were cleaned three time per policy) had small black hairs on it and one looked like they spoiled apple juice on. Floors were sticky and dirty ( hair and nail clippings). Bathroom floor including toilet had little hairs all over it. Tub had soap scum on walls. Shower did not drain. TV kept restarting and checking me out. Couldn’t watch without it shutting done. We stood for one night and moved to a Staybridge. It looks nice but they lack in the cleaning and maintenance department.

The hotel room looked clean from just a Quick Look, but since I stayed multiple days I found the floor in the room to be sticky. It coated my socks in black gunk which was gross, and I found a thick, dark, hair in my bed that didn’t belong to me. The kiosk to check in was the worst, the guy on the other end disconnected about 10 times in the 2 minutes I spoke to him. I think the worst part of my stay was that the place reeked of weed. This could be because my room was right near the back entrance to the place, but it was so bad it was disruptive to my sleep and work.

This is not a regular hotel with iron, hairdryer, soap, and there was no ice machine or ice bucket. Beds was very good and if you love hearing people walking around over your head than this is your hotel. The remote for the TV had the power button missing, but the TV was very large. It was clean room.

It was fine for the price. Could hear everything happening around you. Bring your own pillows. Bed was pretty sunk in and uncomfortable but everything was clean… Although, the air fresheners smell like a grandmas armpit.

Our room keys deactivated several times (not near cell phones or other things that could deactivate them) when I went to the front desk multiple times they said it was because I was checking out that day (which I wasn’t) this was also 2-3 hours BEFORE the posted 11 am checkout. I can understand cards deactivating the doors at 11 am check out but not three hours prior. This coupled up with having to wait over 30 minutes PAST check in time while another room identical was ready but they didn’t put us there. The beds also made an AWFUL noise anytime you moved slightly. The rooms were clean as were the linens and kitchenette area. Probably wouldn’t stay here again tho because of the overall hassles of trying to get into my room but having to continuously go to the front desk (which is also closed from 5 pm to the next morning so I’m glad my keys worked after that)

Checking in was a nightmare because the front desk was closed and their check in kiosk didn’t work. We had to wait 20+ minutes for someone to open the front desk window back up and check us in. After getting everything into our room we started hearing a dog barking constantly right across the hall…it wouldn’t shut up. I called the “front desk” extension but must have been connected with a corporate number. I asked if we could be moved to a different room that was quieter (the hotel wasn’t very full) and the foreign woman on the phone told me no because dogs are allowed at the hotel. I asked if she could call them to shut their noisy dog up and she said she would try. The place was dirty, the hallways smelled like pickles and had garbage all over the floors. The dog barked half the night, sleeping was next to impossible. We won’t be going back to this property.

Kiosk instead of manned front desk fron 5pm to 9am a negative. The pillows are the worst I've ever encountered, only 2/ bed and flat(useless). When asked for replacement at front desk was told everyone asks for replacements and there are none.

We didnt like that they didnt have any soap or shampoo in the bathroom when we got there.We had to ask for it from the front desk. They also didnt have a hairdryer in the bathroom, had to ask for it from the front desk. The front desk clerk was very helpful. The bed is also very old & make’s a lot of noise.

There may not be breakfast or coffee, but there is this amazing deli, literally a 30 second walk from the hotel, and not only that, there’s a Tim Horton and other foods in the shopping center right next door and they were amazing! Bed was SUPER comfy, pillows were a little thin, but you can grab more. There’s a burner and cutting board and a microwave all in the room as well as their fridge. Will be booking again next time I’m up there!

Our first room was on the first floor and it was a little too noisy. The front desk moved us to a second floor room and it was much better. The staff is very friendly and caring. This was our third or fourth stay. We recommend to other friends and they enjoyed their stay also.

Checking in was off putting, the person that checked me in on Sept/18/25 was acting as he was tsa or something, asking me to take off my mask among other things I’ve never experienced, but I got through that…on Sept/30/25 approx. 0915 I went out to the grocery store and when I returned I couldn’t get into my room when I arrived at the the counter to activate my key I was hit with the rudest and nasty looking person I’ve ever encountered and I travel all over this country for work. she had red faux dreads and was just a disgusting person I wanted to speak with the other person that was working I thought he was intervening bc of her nasty attitude, she activated one key I told her I needed two but she literally started helping another guest behind me the guest themself said “just go ahead and finish taking care of her” I said yep that’s the way it usually works. On Sept/19/25 I actually extended but had I encountered this person I definitely wouldn’t have. I must say as long as I’ve stayed with Woodspring this is the only time I’ve experienced such behavior.

On check in that person Woodspring had working is absolutely ridiculous she was one the nastiest people I’ve ever encountered at the Woodspring and I stay there often on my work trips. I plan to report her to corporate

The check in was the WORST!!! You are not told that after 8pm you will need to use the kiosk. Great! The kiosk is horrible. We waited almost 30 minutes before someone would come on the kiosk to help! 30 minutes!! Asked to speak with the manager, she came on and was rude.When asked if she could check me in, she told me she was in her pajamas and was unable to assist. When I called the customer assist number to ask for help with checking in, the lady on the phone was focused on signing me up with a rewards account. Our heater didn’t work. Called for help. No help came. A chilly room it was. Would not recommend this stay!!! Absolutely NOT. Checked out well before checkout time!!

Do not come here if you will arrive outside of their office hours. I called the day of to confirm that we could check in late (after 2am) and the front desk lady said we would be good. We had to use the kiosk, but their system was undergoing an audit and we were unable to check in immediately. This was after hours of driving and needing to just get a bed to sleep in. The kiosk had someone via zoom who told us to come back in 30 minutes but instead we stayed at the Tru hotel by Hilton next door (great service) and when we came by the next day, WoodSpring marked us as no shows and gave up our room. Thankfully, the front desk guy helped us get a full refund and we just stayed at the Hilton. Not a great experience but glad Expedia did right by us.

I am an IBEW member here on business for several weeks. The hotel is in a good area, ckean and bug free. There are no junkies or homeless people hanging around. For the greater Detroit area this is a unicorn. The staf is helpful and friendly. Rpoms are clean. The only complaint I have is the shower water pressure could be better.

There may not be breakfast or coffee, but there is this amazing deli, literally a 30 second walk from the hotel, and not only that, there’s a Tim Horton and other foods in the shopping center right next door and they were amazing! Bed was SUPER comfy, pillows were a little thin, but you can grab more. There’s a burner and cutting board and a microwave all in the room as well as their fridge. Will be booking again next time I’m up there!

Noone at counter to welcome us. No coffee in room or lobby even though the welcome screen on tv said there would be both. Told i could buy a coffee pot from them. Tv volume broke. Thermostat broke.

The room was still dirty and didn't look like it's been cleaned the hot water don't work and you have to pay for dishes and dishes. You have to take out your own trash no pool or no breakfast and the staff were very rude and disrespectful and they put me and my children out of the room late at night at 11 clock and this stay was the worst experience I ever had
