Comfortable beds, good layout and great shower. cozy rooms are big enough for 2. Tea and coffee available at end of the corridors. Well insulated rooms, didnt hear any noise even located at the front of the hotel.

PROS: 1. First off, they'll give you free chocolate bars (amazing quality with caramel pretzels and sea salt) and a free drink if you opt out of room service. Very much appreciated that! 2. The room was clean, cozy, and modern, with a nice, big shower. 3. Staff are SUPER friendly! Carlos and this other young lady, whose name I've forgotten (I'm so sorry) were extremely friendly and helpful! 4. The area is super walkable with great restaurants around. There's a nice breakfast place less than a 5 minute walk away called Eggbreak that makes delicious brunch food! Gold is a 10-15 min walk away and, despite being quite pricy, makes some amazing and fresh meals! 5. Nothing Hill Station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel which makes using transit more accessible. CONS: 1. While having the bar downstairs is lovely, the prices for a drink are gobsmacking! £14 - £17 for a drink is beyond crazy! 2. While I liked the idea of having the Marshall speakers in the room to listen to, I couldn't connect my phone with it because I don't have the ability to connect it with a jack. Bluetooth connection would have been far more user friendly.

Enjoyed our two night stay at Zoe Ruby. Staff behind the bar were friendly and helpful. Pablo makes delicious cocktails. Not so keen on having to get coffee from station in hallway, had to get dressed, a robe in the room would have been useful. Great shower and comfortable beds.

For the price paid (which wasn’t too high) this was an adequate place to stay for one night - I think I spent less than 11 hours in the room/at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the although the shower / toilet set up won’t be for everyone, as a solo traveller, it was fine. What I didn’t like was having to venture to the end of the corridor for a cuppa in the morning. Also, the lack of fridge in the room for the average prices this Ruby Zoe isn’t acceptable. In summary, fine for an overnight stay but lacks comfort for a longer trip.

It’s brand new hotel that just opened in summer. Building and room were spotless. Check in was at the bar which was pretty cool. Great location and steps from Notting Hill Gate tube station. Daily breakfast was so good with healthy options but did wished they changed it up a bit. Staff were attentive and friendly, especially the morning breakfast crew who always came by to clean and check to see if I needed more coffee. Room needed a phone, a fridge and a microwave, at least that’s what I’m used to in the states. Otherwise, small but sufficient and spotless rooms with huge window looking out to the streets of London.

First for the positives: the staff at the check in was amazing, so helpful and genuinely happy to assist. The free coffee and tea station at each floor is super convenient as well. The location is perfect, underground station is close by, as well as the bus station. Now for the negatives. The main one is that the WiFi is beyond terrible. And I don’t mean that you cannot stream movies, I mean it’s completely unusable for something as simple as reading emails?!? For a new and not so cheap hotel, I would expect more. Also, mobile network doesn’t work in the hotel as well. This was a huge inconvenience for us, since we needed to get some work done at the hotel and it was simply impossible. Horrible WiFi. Second, no fridge in the room. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve been to a room that doesn’t have even a tiny, mini fridge. We weren’t able to purchase anything to eat or even cool our water because there is no fridge in the room?! Also, the bathroom door couldn’t close properly and the cleaning left a bit to be desired. All in all, will not stay here again.

Stayed here again after six months. Maybe it’s because they’ve joined the IHG group, but the vibe among the staff felt different this time. Are they short on staff? I liked it better before when everyone was a bit more friendly. As for the room, I’d prefer a mini fridge over the amp.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very friendly hotel near Holland Park. We had what was described as a lovely room. It was of a good size, very light filled and, despite being at the front facing a busy road, very quiet. Our one gripe? No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Sure, there was a coffee/tea station fairly close to our room but that presented difficulties with our early morning cuppa. Either I had to venture out in a state of dress that only my wife should suffer or I had to get dressed. Breakfast was superb. Yes, we would stay again but we would bring a kettle.

The hotel is about 5 minutes from Notting Hill Gate tube so very convenient for travel to centre. Also close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Buzzy area with plenty of coffee shops etc. The reception area is bright and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There's a nice bar/cafe area for breakfast etc. The rooms are modern, clean and quiet. Good bed and lovely toiletries.

Very impressed with Ruby Zoe Hotel. I traveled alone and felt very safe at the hotel and in the area. The hotel was located just outside of the most touristy city center so it was calm but easy and quick to get to all parts of the city. Easy check in (self check in but staff available to help) and the room was exactly like the pictures. The bed was amazing, so comfortable and the bedding really made it the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a hotel (quite soft bed for reference). I opted out of cleaning during my three night stay as it didn’t feel necessary (got a voucher to the bar as thanks) but the room was very well cleaned when I arrived so that was not a problem at all. The only thing I could say was that the bathroom smelt a little bit moist. Nothing that I worried about, just mildly noticeable when going into the bathroom. No smell in the rest of the room though! I had some problem with the pump on the soap, but I asked the reception if they could look at it on my way out for the day and when I returned it was fixed. Very pleased with the customer service of the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at the Ruby Zoe Hotel in Notting hill and I will definitely come back again in the future!

My partner and I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The building is new construction, and everything from the common areas to the rooms was kept spotless. Rooms were very quiet and comfortable and adequate even for longer stays (11 nights). There are no “extras” one might expect from a hotel (pool, room service, spa), but honestly we hardly missed them.

We had a wonderful experience!! One of our rooms smelled like dog pee. My husband told the front desk. They immediately went with him. Agreed. And got him a new room! We would stay again!!

The hotel is new. Check in is via an iPad and your card shoots out of a vending machine near your knees - my seven year old self would have loved this. Staff were super friendly, Carlos went especially out of his way to help. Reception is a bar a spills into a colourful and eclectic seating/bar/restaurant area full of vynal and mid century furnishings and a vintage car to boot. Largely underused and a nice space to relax in. The rooms, by contrast, are white and stark. Clean with a very comfortable bed. Yea and coffee making is available on every floor at ‘The Galley’. Windows are vast and if you stay in rooms on the front you get a cracking view towards Holland Park. Rooms on the rear have uninterrupted views of the brutalist Trellick Tower and Hampstead Heath. A few minutes walk from Notting Hill Tube, on a major bus route, walking distance to Portobello & Kensington Palace and surrounded by interesting dining options. The WiFi is beyond terrible. I stayed in three rooms and in two I barely registered a signal. The TV is very basic and in my second room had been programmed to come on spontaneously.

Styled as a lean luxury hotel the Ruby is too lean and not that luxury compared to other boutique hotels. Leanness means limited storage space, an "in room" sink and a corner loo and glass box shower concealed by an exterior curtain, one uncomfortable chair and a station in the corridor for drinks and ironing. Too lean in my view and just one up from a Bloc airport hotel.

Nice hotel. Great location. Rooms a bit quirky when you see the way the shower/ basin is configured. One suggestion is that they put a small fridge in the room which would help when temps are in 30s but AC was excellent

I stayed for four nights (one night was using a Hotel.com free night voucher). The hotel is new, the staff were very friendly. The lobby is stylish and the rooms are a good size and very minimally decorated. The massive windows, looking towards Holland Park or Hamstead depending on which side you are on, make the room feel even bigger. Each floor has a tea station rather than a kettle in the room. Toiletries were nice. Bed was very comfy. The downside was the poor wifi. It’s a new hotel and has some wrinkles to iron out. The TV spontaneously can on in one room is was in. The staff were very obliging and moved me to an alternate room.

Unhelpful staff that were clearly prejudiced and didn’t want me in their hotel. Kept changing their policy to suit their ever changing biases. Didn’t clean my room once during the entire 3 days stay and it is safe to say I will not be staying there again.

It's a very nice lobby and restaurant/bar, however the room aesthetic is more industrial/stark hospital chic, which isn't my vibe. We were only there for one night, so it fulfilled our purpose. The beds were comfortable, but there were a few things we needed in the room but there was no phone to call reception. I have never been in any hotel where there's no line to reception. That was quite jarring as no one is going to go downstairs multiple times for items needed.

Splendid value for money. In fact one of the best-value hotels I have used in the last few years in the world. If one is familiar with the London hotel scene, as I am, that is saying a lot. The location is perfect. Two metro train (tube) stations within 5 minutes of a brisk walk ensuring that one could be anywhere in central London in less than 20 minutes. Less than 40 minutes to Heathrow Airport by tube (saves money). Great cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets within 2 minutes walk. The property itself is impeccably clean and is in excellent condition. Spacious room with everything in the right place. Only minor negatives are: a) someone forgot to put the complimentary water in the room (despite promise at reception) and laundry service is external.

The hotel is perfectly situated in close proximity to the Notting Hill Gate station and a short walk to Portabello Market, countless coffee shops, M&S, Tesco, etc. The hotel is as hip as London itself…the staff was always friendly, professional and eager to assist with any issues that arise. I’m already planning my next stay when I visit London again in a few months.

Perfect location, close to Portobello Road, famous Sat morning market. Notting Hill Station a 3 minute walk, super easy access to the center of London. Hotel is super hip, great decor, and super lobby for working, eating or hanging out. Rooms are a tad small but super functional, and cool. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, headed back for a couple of days this weekend.

Stayed here for business. Breakfast is poor, rooms are weird and cold, bar shuts at 12am and you have to leave the bar area at that time too. It’s a fairly cheap hotel, but not great in reality and breakfast is probably the biggest let down with no hot option other than beans or porridge, who has a random bowl of baked beans for breakfast?
