Very nice hotel. Great history to the building but very model hotel. Nice rooms, bar and restaurant. Had jazz on Friday nights. Convenient location to downtown Asheville restaurants and shops.

Bar was wonderful. Room was just right and loved the toiletries.

We took our dog for a walkable trip in downtown. The property is very appealing and clean. The only option for parking is valet, which was easy and prompt. The food service staff and housekeeping staff were both friendly and professional. The room was quiet, our request about room location was honored, and we were provided everything we asked for from the staff. This is undoubtedly the best hotel in downtown Asheville.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again! One thing that would also help is if they had an overhang by the valet parking. It was raining and all of our luggage got wet.

Hotel is a very cool looking place close to shopping and dining. Staff was helpful. Room was nice looking however both bed frames were broken in the room and tilting so badly that it felt like I was falling out of the bed. I fixed this by propping up each bed with towels but it was kind of ridiculous to have to do that - first time ever in a hotel. The room was also super noisy at night and vibrated with some sort of generator or outside ac unit running constantly. It was hard to get to sleep or to stay sleeping. Unfortunate for an otherwise cool place. Hotel was hosting a private event when we were there and even though the staff encouraged us to move freely in the property, it was awkward since the place was pretty much taken over by the one group. The small outdoor courtyard area would have been a cool place to hang out but that wasn’t really possible with the takeover. Valet guys did a good job with our car. Honestly, due to the poor sleeping situation I’d have to think twice about the foundry next time.

This hotel was booked as part of a last minute travel change. We chose it due to location and the look of the hotel. We absolutely loved the whole vibe, the staff and the valet. The hotel decor is beautiful and cozy. We were able to walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville in the future.

Restaurant staff were exceptional on all three days we ate breakfast there. Ice machine and microwave being available would have been nice. Otherwise perfect stay.

The room was spotless! The staff was helpful, polite and professional. The bed, bedding and pillows were SO comfortable! I really appreciate the makeup mirror. Women of a certain age with eyesight the same age as I am appreciate magnification!

We loved our stay at the Foundry!! Beautifully renovated, very chic and clean, super friendly and helpful staff, beds were so comfortable, great location and breakfast was delicious!! The Foundry is a sanctuary of style and sophistication offering a perfect balance of comfort and glamour! Will definitely stay at the Foundry again next time we come to Asheville!

Our room smelled like feet and it was located in the basement directly on the street. Not happy with our experience.

Beautiful old steel mill building. Clean and nicely decorated room. Everything is within a 15-20 minute walk. Note they only have valet parking.

This is a beautifully renovated hotel of an historic building. The devil is in the details. Hidden fees everywhere, some of them quite substantial. And then there were a little annoyances, like no spoon for the coffee. Flickering light in the bathroom. Room freezing cold, but you can’t turn off the fan. Check in time isn’t until 4 o’clock and believe me you’re sitting in the lobby until then.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at recently. The room was so clean with thoughtful amenities. The design was beautiful and we loved that it was made from repurposed buildings.

I ended up lining up our extra pillows under my duvet and was able to sleep ok that way. The noise level - cool but old building equals creaky floors, thin walls, and in our 2nd room, loud pipes. Our first room was so loud above we couldn’t even enjoy tv let alone sleep (someone above us seemed to be logging steps all evening and throughout the night). Positives: Breakfast - we included breakfast with our booking thru Hotels.com, and very glad we did. Service was slow but very friendly. Although I didn’t believe them at first, included is any breakfast you want. You order anything off the menu and they remove the tabs from your bill. All the food we had over 3 mornings was fabulous. The water - filtered (and sparkling) water station in the lobby. We stopped by and filled up each day, saving time, plastic, and money buying bottled. Service - every employee was friendly and helpful. They happily moved us from a 2nd floor to top after night one was too loud. Restaurant staff always nice, valets were friendly. Great location - easy in and out, perfect location to roam downtown, loads of good restaurants nearby Rooms - decent sized rooms and bathrooms, comfy pillows, power curtains and large windows. Overall after I crafted my own soft mattress and relocated to a top floor room, we ended up having a great stay.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! Everything from the staff to the room to the property itself was top notch! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was stylishly furnished and comfortable. I loved the recommendation list we were given and the access to the concierge. It is also very conveniently located and easily walkable to enjoy one of the many breweries or local shops.

We loved this hotel! Very comfortable and unique. Close to restaurants and shopping. Trey was our favorite bar tender of the whole trip! He was amazing, drinks were awesome! We loved the brunch at the restaurant. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. Highly recommend!

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, nice cold a/c

Parents weekend trip for my husband and I to explore Asheville. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, but what made our stay was the amazing bartender J (Jason). He was like walking up to an old friend every night. He gave great local food recommendations, even suggested items on the menu and he was spot on. When we arrived the room that we had chosen was amazing because it was a corner suite with an awesome view. Unfortunately, we had to switch out of that room because the heating did not work properly. This would’ve been a terrible situation, but again, hanging out with J and then visiting his suggested places really made our trip!

Almost perfection! But...the room was too warm and the ac control was difficult to use and understand. I called the front desk at 0130, and was told if you go below 66 the heat kicks on even more. It was beyond confusing and made for 2 miserable and sleepless nights.

Not the best stay, but the manager on duty definitely helped. No running water in the shower made for a long night and morning. The rude customer service at the front desk (lack of concern) was made up for by Shane being so helpful and making sure things were handled. He was awesome and so friendly! The hotel is beautiful and we will be back for sure, thanks to Shane's helpful nature.

One of our favorite hotels anywhere, but seemed to be understaffed in some areas. Housekeeping did not finish rooms until after 5pm. The front desk was very gracious and gave a F&B credit, but is something that needs to addressed. Hopefully so, as we love the hotel and location.

The Foundry Hotel is the best location- its central to downtown yet tucked away. Its was beautifully decorated, clean, and the staff was amazing. Also the valet was excellent.

Pleasant and comfortable from arrival to departure. Flawless service . Beautiful, comfortable room. Easy walk to great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. Great location in Downtown Asheville. Staff was extremely nice. Great surprise when we came back from dinner Wednesday night to hear the sophisticated groove of the Asheville Jazz Collective. They were superb!

Beautiful property. All staff went above and beyond. Bartender Tre was fantastic snd fave is great recommendations. Had an excellent breakfast with friendly service. Bartender / manager in Benne on Eagle was knowledgeable and friendly !
