The room was nicely decorated and the property is overall in a good location. The access gate into the secure parking area was either stuck or not functioning for my entire stay, which was frustrating both from a security perspective and for the (unplanned) inconvenience of having to find street parking, etc. I texted the concierge about it but the gate was not completely fixed. There is no staff on site. The property is fairly quiet and safe, and the only community amenities are a Keurig coffee bar and a pool. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Bishop Arts area. Good if you just need a place to sleep but not much else!

This was a good deal for the money. Decent location, clean room and pool. The remote checkin was a bit complicated at first but I called the staff and the man working helped me right out and had a great attitude. Loved the room themes, lobby was very hip and parking was plentiful and free and secure. I could not hear other guests at all even though I saw plenty in the common spaces. My only complaint is the bed! Very uncomfortable and hurt my back. Outside of that, worth the trip.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a bit disorienting at first that we never saw a staff person (other than one person who was cleaning rooms), as the desk remained unstaffed, but check-in went very smoothly automatically; and we had everything we needed; and the parking was good; and the pool (although unheated without much shade) was excellent. The property was clean and very close to the terrific Arts District. We would definitely return if we come back to Dallas.

This property is really nice. Its comfortable and quiet.I t's a tad unconventional in a great way. Its self check in but it all went smoothly. The pool is nice and there is a nice lounge area where I was able to work too.

We stayed only one night and wanted to be near downtown without BEING downtown. We were a 10 min drive away from the event we attended at the Majestic, super convenient. The parking lot was gated with designated parking for guests and the building was a coded entry as well. All of the codes and instructions were sent to me in an email the morning of check in and were clear and easy to follow. The room was very private and quiet. I could hear noise while we were in the hallway but absolutely nothing while in the room. There was even something that sounded like a band practicing on the morning we checked out but we didnt even know until we were downstairs on our way out. Each room has a unique theme and the furniture and artwork matches beautifully. Plenty of space, very clean and modern. I would absolutely book here again!

A friend and I stayed here for a girls' weekend and we were very impressed with our stay. Everything was contactless, but they communicated very clearly via text. We stayed in the Bali room, which had beautiful decor and was fairly spacious. The shower in the bathroom was extremely nice and the toilet even had a heated seat. Both our room and the public areas were super clean. And the hotel is in a great location. It's close to the Bishop Arts district, which has a lot of cool shops and great restaurants. The only issue we had while staying there was the gate to the parking lot. One night it didn't work at all and we had to street park and one time when trying to enter we had issues with it not accepting the code. And I do want to caution others that there isn't a elevator. So if stairs are a problem for you, then make sure your room isn't on the second floor. But I would definitely stay here again!

Great place! Super clean and comfortable. I loved the different decor in the room. The pool looked great, unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. Super easy check-in. Nice area too, easy to walk to many great restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in Dallas.

The location is pretty good, close to the Bishop Arts District (15 minute walk, not 7) and it offers free, secure parking. The contactless check in was easy, however, the room was not very clean. The remote had stuck on food, there were dead bugs stuck on the blinds, and a piece of food on the floor. When we arrived we pulled the duvet back and there were strands of hair on the sheets. We requested new sheets and pillowcases (we offered to put them on ourselves) and after calling the manager, the hotel staff member proceeded to berate my wife, telling her the sheets were clean. When changing them she dragged the comforter across the floor over to the couch and left and never returned with clean pillowcases. Also, and this is minor, there is nowhere to hang used towels. We were very excited for this stay based on the reviews, but sadly our in-room experience was not a good one.

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the Bishop Art’s District. Great food, shopping, atmosphere, and people. First time in a staff free hotel, but they were really responsive to my text so that was great! Our room smelled of really strong cleaning products on our first night but after the smell wore off there was a mildew smell that surfaced.

I love staying here normally but this stay wasn't great. The shower leaked into the bedroom and the sheets had stains. I hate to leave a negative review as i usually love this place. I came for my anniversary as i do every year and it was kind of ruined.

The check-in process was difficult because we didn't receive the email before check-in for ID verification. System was difficult. Cleanliness was adequate, was needing a deep clean. Nest thermostat was my biggest complaint. Was set at 72°, woke early hours (2a.m.) room was stuffy, adjusted it to 70°. It's programing is such that it readjust itself...by 8 a.m. it was set to 73°. If the guest does not control the temperature of the room, state it, DON'T HIDE IT. Parking at this property can be an issue.

The room we stayed in, Angkor Wat, had bedbugs!! We wrote to management to warn them but they didn’t reply. We didn’t want to leave a negative review but we thought it would be fair to warn any would-be guests in advance. Bedbugs are a nightmare to get rid of and we have had to take a bunch of preventative measures to avoid having them hitch a ride with us…

There was mold growing out of the vent in the bathroom and pools of water were on the floor. I had a hard time sleeping on both nights. We stayed in the Paris room. Otherwise, it was a cute place.

Contactless worked well. TV did not work. Omar, very nice, tried to fix it. Could not. He moved me to a much bigger suite. Beautiful room. TV still did not work. Bed super comfortable. Every room a different style after a different country. Pool was freezing but beautiful. Bistro Arts District wonderful walkable neighborhood with great restaurants, shops, and more.

This is a great facility and a great room. I booked one of the suites that had a little kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. And an extra sitting room. Very roomy. I also love the fact that this is one of the few hotels where I could screen mirror my streaming device the TV. That was a great feature.

Easy check in process. Property was near a cool area of town. Room was beautifully decorated, but wished it had a few more amenities. A USB port to charge phones would be helpful. An iron and full length mirror were two things I could have used when getting ready. It was a quick trip, so it served the purpose.

Space is great. Well kept, safe/gated parking, cute rooms and comfy beds. Location can’t be beat. As others have mentioned, the towels are in bad shape but everything else was good/clean. The A/C in our room didn’t work. We got in really late and were leaving for a flight at 5am, so we didn’t mention to try get it fixed, but was a bummer to not have AC in Texas summer.

Overall the room accommodations were good. The biggest drawbacks were the lack of storage for your clothing. There was a bunch of artsy furniture, but nothing with a drawer to put clothes in. Also the closet barely had any hangers which could have helped to alleviate this issue. Also it would be nice to have some convenient USB plugs available on the nightstands. Please keep in mind there is some kind of community theatre group operating out of the the hotel's basement so there's always a bunch of people milling around in the hotel hallway and lounge areas. Also would have liked to have some of the typical hotel things like an ice bucket 2 glasses a notepad and ink pen.

This was a good deal for the money. Decent location, clean room and pool. The remote checkin was a bit complicated at first but I called the staff and the man working helped me right out and had a great attitude. Loved the room themes, lobby was very hip and parking was plentiful and free and secure. I could not hear other guests at all even though I saw plenty in the common spaces. My only complaint is the bed! Very uncomfortable and hurt my back. Outside of that, worth the trip.

we arrived at the hotel and walked in to a nice roome well decorated clean, no staff on site at all. Within 2 hours the electricity went out in the building. There was no communication about this at all for almost an hour, The room was not tolerable due to the 100+ degree weather, we left the hotel, because, it was too important to be up for our jobs in the morning to not know when the electricity would be on. Once I was home, there was finally communication via text, that stated the power should be on by the power company within 1.5 hours. I paid $140 + dollars to stay here for 3 hours. The Text person, said they could not refund our stay, because it was booked through your site. They offered a 50% off on next visit -but not sure I would visit again with these challenges. There were no other businesses in the are or homes without electricity, not sure what the issue was, but we should have been communicated with immediately and had some type of proactive offer to make this right,

Very nice boutique hotel. There aren't a lot of services but the hotel is well appointed and the price was very good! The parking is secured which for this city-dweller is always a plus. The Bishop Arts district is charming and walkable. We would stay here again.

The property was very quiet, clean, well decorated, cozy, and safe with gated parking. Less than a mile to Bishop street shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend! Only suggestion is install a ceiling fan.

I needed a one night stay solo at the onset of my business trip. I arrived earlier than planned. They offered use of lobby and pool if my room wasnt ready however they responded almost immediately that my room was ready early. Found the greatest Mexican restaurant in walking distance and the pool area and hotel is so clean and charming. Safe and lovely location. Would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed only one night and wanted to be near downtown without BEING downtown. We were a 10 min drive away from the event we attended at the Majestic, super convenient. The parking lot was gated with designated parking for guests and the building was a coded entry as well. All of the codes and instructions were sent to me in an email the morning of check in and were clear and easy to follow. The room was very private and quiet. I could hear noise while we were in the hallway but absolutely nothing while in the room. There was even something that sounded like a band practicing on the morning we checked out but we didnt even know until we were downstairs on our way out. Each room has a unique theme and the furniture and artwork matches beautifully. Plenty of space, very clean and modern. I would absolutely book here again!

A very nice room with upscale decor. A treat from typical cookie cutter hotel room s. The parking, entry, and room access were all clearly laid out in an email from the property and it all worked flawlessly. Only two things left me puzzled. There is an ice bucket and bottled water in the room, but no cups. What are you supposed to put the ice in when you want a cold drink? Then there is no coffee maker in the room. You can make coffee in the lobby, but that requires some proper attire and venturing out of your room while waking up for the day. Still, a very pleasant stay i would certainly do again!

Absolutely lovely. So convenient to hospital. Amazing restaurants nearby. A fun area without the hustle and bustle. Staff friendly and helpful. Just because it is a no frills doesn’t mean they skipped out on tasteful decor or quality necessities. After all, if you are staying in this area it is because you are there for the fun so get out and enjoy then come back for a great nights sleep then go grab a great breakfast at the many delicious choices waiting just down the way!
