I was disappointed & dissatisfied! I would think all levels of Hilton would be of excellence. I am not sure who is giving 4 & 5 stars. It has to be the employees/review generators. Pro: Good location, accessible rooms are a good size, & kind people that are helpful, cute breakfast bar. Cons: 1. When I first booked it, I read the reviews. Someone commented on the mattress pad with blood stains. I figured ok, no problem, that was taken care of…NOPE! We received the same mattress pad! I wanted to throw up. My husband & I went to get the front desk clerk. He was sweet. He put on gloves, & changed everything. I had my Lysol (of course). We couldn’t change rooms because the hotel was sold out with double beds & accessibility. Upon leaving I told the front desk manager and the gentleman that changed the mattress pad to throw it out. That mattress pad should not be rotating throughout the hotel! DISGUSTING! BTW, we still paid full price, never mind the grossness! Hilton should be ashamed! 2. The breakfast bar is mediocre. They had the cute pancake maker. Impressive, until the pancake is hard and taste like dough…image frozen pancake lightly cooked. We were looking for bacon.No bacon during our stay! Hilton, most people eat bacon, not assorted style sausages. The omelette had veggies, I had boiled eggs. 3. Small intimate pool…water should have been slightly heated considering it’s indoors. 4. Business station is not a room, so no privacy. 5. Wi-Fi is NOT free. Only members

Room was great. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the swimming pool. I enjoyed the fitness room. Breakfast was great!

I loved the pool table they had in the waiting area near the front desk but I didn’t like that we weren’t able to use the pool at any time. We came down for work and family time but by the time we got back to the hotel we couldn’t use the pool.

The attention from one of the receptionists was very bad, my family and I were in the pool and I know that it was 10 pm which is the time they close the pool, it had happened to me with 20 min, it was not for him to go with a terrible and rude attitude in which he went and said that it was no longer time to be there, it was not the right way, he looked at us in an ugly way, he stood there until we left.

We stayed here for the pool, it wasn't heated though 😂 otherwise the room was clean, bed comfy and breakfast was nice. Friendly check in and staff!

Very clean cool atmosphere with pool table in lobby clean rooms. We actually use the heat one night and it worked perfect! Mattress, pillows and comforters very good and extra towels in bath which was nice. Free laundry facilities Would stay here again.

This property charged very high prices as if it were a Hilton, but was nothing like a Hilton. The room was dirty, you had to make a reservation to swim (and could not swim as a family), had to ask to have your room cleaned, you had a pole which was very high to hang your clothes on, open wires on the wall, and empty containers of soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. We paid $420.06 for two nights and it was not worth it! We had two family members who's planes were delayed and even though we asked to have their rooms held, the hotel did not. One family member is disabled which left us in a difficult situation. Don't waste your money !

Surfaces were not clean. The sticky residue leftover by previous guests were not wiped from sny surface. Found residue on all tables, top of the refrigerator and top of the plastic shelf. Front desk tlod me that there are no microwaves in the room. However room had one.

**Bed bugs beware** checked in around 7pm bed bugs found in first room and 3rd room.. Front cleck was nice and changed our room . 2nd room was not clean or done by staff, sheets on floor towels all over, wet spots, soda cans ,food etc looks as if not ready. We then was provided 3rd room which we found another bed bug crawling at this point we wentk downstairs and ask for a refund since we paid through expedia was told by district manager that the sent message to expedia and we had to await 24 hours for a response. We were traveling from Florida and had to find another hotel that night due to this.

Theirs are so many food and shopping options in the vicinity. But for some reason our floor (vinyl) were extremely shiny and slick. We thought that maybe it had just been cleaned so we tried to wipe it up with a towel and the towel wiped up black and dirty. It

Bathroom shower had alota mold in the corners at the bottom of the shower as well as around the shower door.

This hotel is a bit of a drive off I95 but the cost is less accordingly. Even though it is a newer hotel it is quickly getting a bit worn around the edges. Things were dinged up pretty badly,especially in high traffic areas in rooms. For some reason it did have a full additional refrigerator which was nice to refreeze ice packs. I unfortunately found several long black hairs in my linens - both bed and towels - which is offputting. The staff checking me in was great.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. There was no closets for our clothes for long stays. My iron was spitting out water and it was extremely hot. I asked for extra towels because our stay was 6 days. I was told I had to call every other day to get more wash cloths and towels. The room wasn’t as cleaned as I liked. There was only one person at night(who had to take care of everything by herself. ) The only best thing about this trip was the coffee; which was very good at all times. The noise throughout the night from other rooms was very loud, at night times.. Loud talking and it sounds like dragging of furniture. Also, the smell of marijuana was heavy in the hallways on the day of check out. nowhere to put your clothes no drawers for last six days we lived out our suitcases. Very small room for $169 a night. We are Hilton timeshare owners and we’ve stayed in plenty of Hilton facilities and this by far was the worst . The facility is new and we wanted to try something new. Never again.

There was no closet or safe.

Its nice and new. Spacious rooms, great lobby. Parking lot next to property became a hangout next door, which created trash being left on and near hotel property, which was still there in the morning. There are absolutely no drawers or cubbies for belongings, leaving you to live out of your suitcase.

The beds were very comfortable. Staff was helpful. Some noise from cars going by.

Very nice hotel I appreciate no carpet in the room. The only complaint I have is the window shade wouldn’t do down in room 211. Other than that the hotel was nice.

It was family friendly, big bedrooms, spacious. I love everything about the hotel. I dislike the fact my son couldn't setup his gaming system the wifi sucks

Stayed two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole property was very bright and modern. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were easy. This was a good option for a solo traveler and short stay, BUT I think the small room size and lack of a closet, shelves or dresser would feel cramped for a longer stay or if traveling with a family.

Convenient location near Shaw AFB and easy drive to Columbia Metropolitan Airport. The room is clean but shower pressure was weak. It’s a great stay for a couple of days max. The hotel is starting to smell greasy maybe the mop chemicals that they use is not exactly good as floor cleaner. Overall, I’d stay there again and again only for no more than a week as long as the property keeps the cleanliness

Liked absolutely nothing. This is merely a place to lay your head for the night. Unfortunately it was a uncomfortable night. The bed is horrible. I woke up with a backache. The sheets need to be replaced they were so rough and scratchy that I slept on top of them. The floor was sticky and greasy. I guess I'm spoiled at other hotels because it was disappointing that they didn't even offer bottled water. Front desk associate is young and unprofessional. She actually had someone on speaker phone listening to the conversations. I know because she said as much whenever they commented. Definitely will not return. The only thing good was the grits with the free breakfast.

Room was dirty. Hair and food crumbs at the top of the head board. Bed linen smelled like dirty dog. At 1:30am guest above us began jumping like they are playing basketball bouncing a ball on the floor and moving furniture around. Called front desk she didn’t answer. Waited tried again still no answer. Finally went down at 3am. She sitting talking on her cell. When I informed her of the issue she just got up and walked away.

The staff was excellent. Always greeted you no matter the time of day and if we needed anything. The staff is what made the excellent rating.

The front desk worker was on the phone and lacked any customer service. She didn’t offer tell us where the elevator was, what time breakfast started and ended, or any other amenities. She continued on the phone gave me the room key and asked me if I needed anything else.

The property was clean, breakfast ok, the room was very sterile looking and not enough storage for clothes if staying for acouple of days. The staffg Gixed a problem we had with room next day. Little road noise being by major road.

Property was convenient to get to. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Didn't provide in room coffee, and no ice buckets. Had to go to ice maker for the bucket. No restaurant in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, some visible trash outside. Breakfast was "OK", not great, Whatever was used to clean/wax/polish the floor in the room had a very strong odor & the floor was noticeably slippery in spots. It was difficult to figure out the heating or a/c & the fan. Very comvenient location with stores & restaurants. We will stay at Hilton properties in the future but the cleaning agent odor was not pleasant.

Perfect hotel to stay at when visiting family at the Base. Clean, friendly service, close to the base, quiet.

First time stayed at a Tru. I would certainly stay there again if I’m ever in the area. It’s a great little hotel. It’s not a super fancy, and it’s on the much higher end of a low budget hotel. I’d they can to keep it nice, clean, and on the higher end of low budget, it won’t become a seedy hotel. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in that area.

Very clean, awesome amenities delicious continental breakfast with multiple options. Will definitely stay again.

I liked the overall cleanliness of the room but not the size. I liked that breakfast was included but not the pancake machine that kept malfunctioning.

I had a wonderful stay at Tru. I gave a 4 star because of the breakfast. The breakfast was just okay, it could have been better.

The breakfast was nasty. Running Microwave eggs, greasy sausage literally sitting in grease. Both pancake machines were down. Said the Orange Juice was out but the other 3 juice options were basically water. For the cost of the room the breakfast was horrible. The staff was nice the rooms were clean, the bed’s uncomfortable but clean.

Staff was friendly. The area was clean and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.

My 10 year old really enjoyed making her own pancakes for breakfast.
