Basic room on the first floor, handicap accessible. There are no elevators available if you stay on the second floor. Pool area was small, but nice and clean. Morning breakfast was basic, but we made the waffles and they were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. AC kept turning off before room was cooled down, but turning fan from auto to medium fixed that. This was one of the least expensive rooms in the area and we were satisfied with our stay.

The room and beds were super clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were poor. The pool is small and out of service. There really is no lobby for phone calls or meetings, it’s very small right by check in and out. No late check out options. Cash deposit required for credit or debit cards.

Pool not working, would have liked to have hot foods (eggs toast etc). Friend had a dirty sock and pills on the floor when she checked into her room. The lady at the front desk was checking someone in ahead of me and told her to go to an ATM to get $100 for a cash security deposit and had an attitude when she said she has never heard of a cash deposit. I have never heard of it either.

Nothing online said pool hours. Got there a little late checking in and pool closed at 9 so kids got to swim for an hour. All cool. Figured we'd swim in morning after breakfast. Got told to get out of the pool because it doesn't open until 12. An hour after check out !? Was ridiculous and the staff was rude. The room wasn't even worth the money paid.

It was nice that they did have a pool up in an operational a bigger size than I expected relatively warm I did not like that the breakfast is small and didn't seem to keep up on the stock people had to ask for stuff The people at work there really nice and friendly The rooms were clean so that's also a good thing didn't like that the back door you could just walk in without a key card. Also no elevators and only one luggage cart that happened to be used in check-in so I had to make multiple trips to my vehicle and then we had an upstairs room so I had to make multiple trips carrying the stuff anyways cuz no elevator

It was a nice place. We don’t normally stay at ANY Wyndham property because they never higher than 5 and are generally rundown and gross. This one was excellent! Friendly check in staff, secure parking, lobby was so clean you could smell the cleaner they used. Room was immaculate. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The biggest surprise was daily maid service. We haven’t had that since before Covid. Breakfast was the normal continental type with egg patties, sausage and waffles. A few more fresh fruit choices would have been nice, but overall typical for this type of stay. Clean area with plenty out. One perplexing thing was that we got charged an increasing amount each night. I thought when I booked it it was one rate. Apparently not. Oh well. Will be staying there again when we come back for an annual event in speingfield

The end of the hallway smelled of marijuana 2 of our 3 nights there. The bathroom door would not close or open all the way! We did like the soap dispensers in the shower. Breakfast was pretty meager with very little space!

I should have expected this at an older hotel. Room was not bad, just not anything special. It was a Room. The staff was great, although we had to wait a 1/2 hour for a manager to credit our card when we checked out early. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast instead to their food. The A/C never made it to 65 which was set, but did cool the room better than the Hampton on our way home. I was very happy to have a 1st floor room as there is NO ELEVATOR. For the money, it was pretty expensive.

This is a two story hotel that has no elevator, so if you have difficulty with steps, you should call beforehand to ensure there is a room available on the first floor. They were able to easily change my room from a second floor to a first floor once I learned there was no elevator. There were only four cars in the parking lot during our stay, so the hotel is not very busy. It was very calm and quiet, but I’m not sure if that’s always true when the hotel is busy. The room has plenty of lights, a small fridge and microwave, and the TV channels are easily discovered on a large printed guide. One of the downsides to the room is the type of heating/cooling system they use. If you do not like dry air, you will need to bring a small humidifier. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I would be open to staying here again.

I showed him my confirmation containing the total paid for two rooms, and the charge on my credit card statement. He refused to honor the second room, offering that I could pay for another room. He was rude and unhelpful. I kept the one room and shared it with my guest whose room we paid for but did not get. Second, there was no hot water in the shower. It barely got to warm and didn’t heat past that. There was mold or mildew around the drain in the shower. It was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Property is somewhat outdated, in need of some renovations. Wasn’t in the greatest area. The young girl who checked us in was wonderful. She helped in any way she could. But the morning we left, the girl on duty acted as if we weren’t there. Not rude, just not friendly or helpful.

What a wonderful experience at this Baymont location. I grew up in the Xenia area, and decided to take a road trip with my wife to show her my home turf. The pricing was reasonable, the room clean and comfortable. We didn't utilize the free breakfast so there's no review. We do need to give amazing kudos to a young lady who checked us in on Friday. Tearsa, was so so kind, very guest oriented, had a wonderful smile and extremely pleasant demeanor about her. She was exactly what we hoped that all service folks would aspire to become. She deserves all the praise she should receive! Now the 1 one negative we do have, and this is with most of the Baymont places we stay at, is the very very low to the ground toilet bowl. As embarrassing and open as I can be for a male to do his business sitting down, the water reaches the man parts which is extremely extremely uncomfortable and unsanitary. Again this is with every Baymont we've stayed.

They cancelled my room because i didn't answer my phone. Then about 20 min. Later got a message on my phone saying my room was cancelled. Which this was a very busy weekend in this area. I wouldn't have gotten a room anywhere else. Thank goodness i was in the area eating dinner before checking in, i drove to the hotel to ask them what was going on. I got my room back thank gosh. I can tell you that won't be happening again.

Check in was good, system was running really slow but associate was very friendly and made the time go quickly. Checkout there was no one at the desk, had to retrieve our receipts ourselves after dropping keycard in a basket. All considering I would stay there again. Rooms were clean, other guests were quiet. The end of the hallway smelled of marijuana 2 of our 3 nights there. The bathroom door would not close or open all the way! We did like the soap dispensers in the shower. Breakfast was pretty meager with very little space!

This is a good hotel comfort wise. There is no elevator, which didn't bother me as I had only one bag. If I had young kids or a big suitcase, I would have been bothered. The breakfast was also minimal for a hot breakfast. It had egg "patties" and sausage links. They were out one morning each and we were not late risers. The waffle maker was really good and made nice, soft waffles. There was also cereal, juice, muffins, yogurt, and juice, so it was okay but I'll stay somewhere else next time we're in Springfield as the breakfast is an important factor for my family. The room itself was good, clean and comfortable.

Great, clean, safe hotel to stay overnight while we traveled cross country. Check in was easy. Love the cash deposit (no long credit holds). Room was clean, beds were comfortable, no issues. Breakfast was limited but fresh. We had bagels and fruit. Check out was smooth. Deposit returned in cash. Would stay again.

Good for what you pay for. It was well cleaned and comfortable. I'd say the breakfast was a little gross though, mainly the juices from the juice machine had some extra stuff come out with it. Otherwise, a good place to stay. I just wish their vending machine took card.

Breakfast was disappointing. I didn't expect much but the scrambled eggs were not good. I think they may have been powdered eggs. Did not taste like real eggs. The sausage was OK. Coffee was good. They had run out of plates and had to ask for more. The staff person seemed irritated that she had to drop what she was doing to get the plates. We heard another customer asking for more sausage and she didn't seem to happy about that either. If you want breakfast you may want to visit Bob Evans just down the street. With all that said, I the check in person was efficient and friendly and overall our stay was comfortable.

Perfect location to get around to different events. The breakfast was extremely limited only hot item was a make your own mini waffles. Otherwise was just mini muffins, mini bagels, 2 choices of cereal, bread and either apple or orange juice.
