the elevator definitely needs fixing, staff was exceptional very friendly and super helpful. The entrance and side entrance a bit dangerous for elderly people as we took our mothers and one was using a walker hard for her to get up on the high step.

Hacen creer que el hotel tiene piscina, no es asi. El cuarto estaba bonito si lo k kieres es dormir, descansar y no salir. Batallanos com el WiFi, nonos atrevimos andar en los alrededores de noche ya que teniamos a nuestra hija de 9 años y no me paresio una atea ni apta ni segura. Repito si solo quieres para dormir es una buena opción

The room was nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant right in the hotel is really great. With a full bar. Stays open until about 9:30. You need a 200 peso ( $10 ) for the TV remote and the AC remote. You have to lock your door with the key or on the knob when you go out...It doesn't lock itself....I must have left my rook unlocked all day....no problems, though. You can beat the location. I walked across, and Hotel Norte is right there. My room face the border station..It got a bit noisy with cab horns...

The property is older. It was extremely clean though it is in need of exterior painting. Limited electrical outlets I had to unplug a lamb to charge my phone. There is a room air conditioner unit and ceiling fan. I found it just slightly difficult to maintain a constant temperature. The hotel does host a restaurant. The selection was good and portion size was plentiful.

Everything was great. Felt very safe. Security always watching the parking lot. Super close to the border, rooms very large with no noise coming from outside. Breakfast was great. Will definitely return.

I like that its near to border and that it offers free breakfast. Its near many good spots to eat and entertainment is around the corner at the Mexicali Rose. The staff was very nice and friendly also.

Buen servicio en recepción, buena ubicación. Limpieza regular. Varios cabellos en el baño, eso me da un poco de asco. Si se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle, lo que dificulta conciliar el sueño. El desayuno estuvo bueno. Tardaron para atendernos a pesar de que había muy poca gente, pero una vez pasado el primer contacto lo demás estuvo bien. Por la convenencia de la ubicación y que solo fue una noche para mi y el precio accesible, fue conveniente. Yo puse sonido de lluvia en el celular para poder disfrazar el ruido de la calle y dormir.

I don’t take breakfast, The parking is good. The Valet parking is nice, The bed it look like Clean but That run smell really bad. It’s like humidity. The carpet is dirty, But the carpet looks really bad and all That room is the smell but,I don’t came back never at the hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Great staff, super clean, free parking, incredibly close to so many great spots including Chinesca (Chinatown), Cine Curto. Hotel has an incredible rich history. The breakfast (included) was great and restaurant staff are so sweet and attentive.

We liked the historical aspect of the property. We liked that there is private parking. We liked the lobby area. We liked how close to the border it is. We liked that check in was super quick and check out was ever faster. We liked that check out is at 2pm. We liked the complimentary breakfast. We did not like the carpet stench in the room. The old carpet made the room feel dirty. We did not like that the AC was not on and the room was super hot. The shower area was super slippery. There is a flood border in the entrance of the bathroom and we tripped on it several times. The elevator was functional, but scary. When it would stop on the third floor, it would be like an inch below the floor level. Lastly, the restaurant only had one waitress and she was cashiering too, the service felt super slow.

The hotel is very nice inside, outside could be a little bit deceiving needs a little bit of painting and maintenance, but the room was very clean and everything was working perfectly, I would prefer a little bit more darkness in the room because the shades don't cover completely from the outside light, and when I sleep I like the room to be very dark.

It was very humid in the room, our things all got wet and heavy because of this. it was very noisy from the street and the windows did not open. for two nights it was bearable. There is a very good restaurant on the first floor with tasty and large portions! it is a big plus not to look for something in the neighborhood

El personal de Recepción EXCELENTE. Te hacen sentir como en casa, en especial el recepcionista Rickardo y otra chica que usa gafas (no me sé su nombre) ellos son de lo mejor. La habitación está aceptable, la limpieza es muy buena (100 puntos para Housekeeping Department). Cabe señalar que la wifi del hotel es pésima.

The hotel is fine, the room acceptable, but at the time of checking in this girl at the front desk Ashlyn, she changed me around five dollars over the amount I was supposed to pay. This is the second time I checked in with this girl and she does the same thing. But this time, she kept my receipt with no explanation, when I go to Mexicali is the only hotel I like to use, most of the staff knows me, are wonderful with me, except this lady Aslyn. And is not just the stupid 5 dlls she steals from me, maybe thinking I do not know the exchange rate and probably she ignored that at the time of the reservation we receive an email with the charge on pesos. It is a shame for the rest of the staff, she does that, because young ladies as Iris on the weekend morning shift, and Veronica are so kind all the time, and the rest of the staff the housekeeper, and the ladies at the restaurant are the best, ladies as Lupita, and her daughter, Irene in the restaurant are so kind. But not this girl Aslyn. Be careful at the time of checking in, and that's for sure I won't pay again with cash, specially if this lady is working at the front desk. Or I'll look for a different hotel. Thank you and be aware of this Aslyn

The estay was good, but the service was not. The reason is because they provide a breakfast service, but was not available at the time I was need it. I was waiting at 7am because is the time they open the restaurant, but they said; “it was not available”. I asked them if I could sit and wait until they were ready. They said; “NO” that I needed to leave and come back later. I insisted in staying, because it was already 7am and the restaurant open at 7am, but the waitress refused me to stay and continued to say; “NO, YOU CANNOT STAY BECAUSE WE ARE NOT READY” I requested to talk to the Manager but was not available at the time. I decided to leave and eat somewhere else.

Our AC wasn’t very cold and they gladly switched rooms for us and it was perfect. Hotel is very Updated and beautiful. Restaurant (free breakfast) was excellent. Most pleasant stay I have had in a long time. Staff super friendly and eager to make sure ur stay is enjoyable.

What I really enjoy most, Is the hotel staff, since you walk into the property, the front desk staff greet you in great Warm way, but not only the people at the front desk, the whole hotel staff Is always so friendly and helpful. They are simply the best!!!!!. That' why when I visita muy family, I look for a room there, for more than three years now.

El hotel está bien, es antiguo pero cuidado hasta lo posible y es limpio. El personal es amable y las instalaciones cuentan con lo necesario para sentirse cómodos. Está a pocas calles de La Chinesca y de la catedral. Los alrededores por las noches no son de lo más bonito para caminar, pero es cuestión de tener los cuidados necesarios. Posiblemente toque que el tren pase a las 6 AM, pero eso ya lo sabíamos.

Sugiero que cambien infraestructuras: como que haya puertas con chapa digital para más seguridad al huésped, las camas están flojas se mueven, huele a humedad el cuarto, las toallas están rasposas, en el baño no hay cancel se escurre el agua, faltó que haya secadora de pelo, agregar un frigobar, poner más cantidad de jabón y shampoo para la ducha, más variedad en los alimentos y más cantidad sirven muy poco.
