The rooms were clean and well appointed. Easy walk to the beautiful Bocana beach. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the sunrise from the 3rd floor lounge area was beautiful. Nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel as well as some other local restaurants nearby. Servers could stand to be more attentive though. Food was fairly good, but not always consistent. No pool service was offered for food or beverage and you weren't supposed to bring your own. Pool was a bit cold, but okay. There weren't many chairs or umbrellas though and a few pool float rests would be a nice addition. The most difficult part of the stay is the noise from the birds and dogs which wakes you several times at night. They may supply earplugs, but you have to ask for them. They also don't restock the coffee pods in the room automatically.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was nice! I didn't get to use the pool or lounge on the rooftop but both seemed very peaceful. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs, and the restaurant was good too! It's in a quiet pocket of Huatulco but I liked that you could call a taxi and get anywhere pretty quickly. The front desk helps with booking tours to see attractions while you're there. I'd recommend this hotel and stay here again next time I'm in Huatulco.

Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. They made sure to check in on us and offered suggestions on where to visit. Restaurant had great food options. The rooftop bar had gorgeous views of the ocean and very good drink options. Hotel is very pretty; purposely decorated to feel like it’s part of the landscape. Rooms are kept very clean. Definitely staying here again.

The rooms, public spaces, pool were all comfortable and well designed. Service was top - from front desk to restaurant - all friendly, helpful and prompt. We ate most of our meals there and every one was delicious. The location is ideal if you like isolated, peaceful areas. Walking Playa Bocana each morning for sunrise was our favourite. We did the Wahaca Cooking school next door and it was incredible. A very short and cheap cab ride to the centre.

Property and room are clean. Front office and restaurant staff are friendly. Stayed 7 nights, the staff made us feel welcomed. Girlfriend experienced slight dehydration creating stomach issues for 2 days, restaurant made sure they prepared special food for her without me asking.

The room was very clean. I loved the decorations of the hotel very original the atmosphere was very pleasant and quite. The staff was very attentive, polite and helpful. Specially Melina she was very helpful and good to us. Overall I enjoyed my staying at this hotel. I really recommend it 10/10.

Beautiful property. Only feedback is that the water pressure and shower drainage is not great. If you maximize the shower head there will be a ton of water overflow in your bathroom. Other than that, this place is amazing.

Hotel staff were great Melina and Rey in particular. Restaurant is overrated and overpriced and service is very slow. Dogs and chickens are noisy all night. It's too far from town (about 25 km) The area is not busy and very safe, if you want to be away from the tourist crowd this is a good area.

Lovely room, spacious and super comfortable however this was my worst night in Mexico due to a dog that kept barking all night long, I barely slept due to that. When I tried to call reception at 3 am to see if something could be done, nobody answered. It is also in the middle of a construction site, works are happening during the daytime (3 buildings were being built a few meters away) The price was way too high for the services provided, and the area itself offers nothing (no shops, no restaurants, no pharmacy). Breakfast is NOT included and is overpriced, directed towards the ex-pats and tourists who stay in the area. No coffee was offered except on the first day, not even in the room. Their restaurant is closed on Monday and there is no good alternative within walking distance; had terrible fish at the dirty place they recommended on the beach. The beach nearby is worth going to for sunset, and stunning views but for the rest of the day, try to walk 25-40 minutes further on the road to enjoy more beautiful ones (Conejos, Punta Arena). I had no car but luckily I stayed only one night if you plan to stay there longer a car is really highly recommended. I found the area itself boring, too new, and not authentic. The area I stayed in earlier for three nights was much better with plenty of excellent restaurants, activities, higher quality hotels at a cheaper price, and stunning beaches (Santa Maria - 20 minutes drive).

Desde la llegada la recepcionista con muy mala actitud, o quizá así recibe a los huéspedes de esa manera, pero no me pareció. Y al final, igualmente la encargada corrió an mis familiares que solo querían conocer el hotel, le expliqué que era para mostrárselos para que fuera su próxima opción. Súper mala actitud, jamás me había tocado personas tan pedantes. En cuanto al servicio de alimentos, excelente. Los meseros y el chef súper amables. Y la verdad, el hotel muy bonito muy acogedor; pero reitero, no pueden tener personal que no tienen idea de lo que es un negocio de esos. Tenía pensado regresar en agosto con un grupo de amigos, pero la atención de las señoritas, da mucho que desear..

Disappointing stay on a few levels. AC leaked in the room. Power cycled on and off at 530am. Check-in was tedious and took longer than it should. They are trying to be something they're not good at.

Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. They made sure to check in on us and offered suggestions on where to visit. Restaurant had great food options. The rooftop bar had gorgeous views of the ocean and very good drink options. Hotel is very pretty; purposely decorated to feel like it’s part of the landscape. Rooms are kept very clean. Definitely staying here again.

Nice hotel. We had an overall good experience: rooms are clean and beautifully designed. Breakfast is not included (personally something they should consider for the price). The hotel’s location is not the best in Huatulco but hopefully it will improve in the next years. The Restaurant is good however a bit pricey. Only one suggestion: the “pasta rellena” (stuffed pasta) is nicely prepared but they only serve you 3 ravioli… a bit expensive for a 300MXN dish especially considering this is not a tasting menu and they sell it as a main dish. Really not acceptable.

L'hôtel est vraiment bien, le décor, la piscine , le restaurant tout est haut de gamme. La seule shose, j'aurais aimé avoir plus d'options pour la restauration, il n,'y en a pas beaucoup dans le quartier. La plage est très belle, sauvage et peu fréquentée mais non adapté pour la baignade.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. Easy walk to the beautiful Bocana beach. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the sunrise from the 3rd floor lounge area was beautiful. Nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel as well as some other local restaurants nearby. Servers could stand to be more attentive though. Food was fairly good, but not always consistent. No pool service was offered for food or beverage and you weren't supposed to bring your own. Pool was a bit cold, but okay. There weren't many chairs or umbrellas though and a few pool float rests would be a nice addition. The most difficult part of the stay is the noise from the birds and dogs which wakes you several times at night. They may supply earplugs, but you have to ask for them. They also don't restock the coffee pods in the room automatically.

Hotel staff were great Melina and Rey in particular. Restaurant is overrated and overpriced and service is very slow. Dogs and chickens are noisy all night. It's too far from town (about 25 km) The area is not busy and very safe, if you want to be away from the tourist crowd this is a good area.

Casa Bocana was a wonderful respite after a week in Mexico City. The whole hotel was beautiful and calm. Our bed was super comfortable- I haven’t slept that great in years. We loved the food in the restaurant! They went above and beyond for New Years Eve!! The concierge staff was helpful and kind. The wait staff could use some training when it came to seating guests. But other than that, they were great. Absolutely fine dining! The location of the hotel was perfect! It’s located in a neighborhood that has a masseuse, two or three restaurants l and the beach is a very short walk. We loved our stay at Casa Bocana!!
