Located close to IU campus and mall. Newly refurbished lobby/breakfast area. Rooms are a bit dated but clean, functional and accommodated all our needs. No issue with parking. Walkable to mall, and even campus if 15-20 minute walk is OK.

Property location was easy to get to and ample parking was available. Upon entering the 1st room, it reeked of cigarettes, even though it showed non-smoking. The manager quickly found us a room that was not smoky. However, it did not have refrigerator. Overall, it was decent. However, all the hallways smelled like stale cigarettes.

The beds and bedding were full of cigarette burns in a nonsmoking room. The bathroom was filthy, doors were not secured and doors to room looked like plywood, we were in the room for 10 minutes and left, it was better to drive 4 hours home than to stay in this horrible place

The staff (Larry) was very friendly and helpful. The female staff was very nice and she changed my room because there was a cockroach in the bathroom and I found two bedbugs in the bed. The bathtub in my room was dirty—the bottom of the tub was gray and black. I won’t be staying there any more. It also appeared to have vagrants staying there at the hotel.

I do have a couple of notes, simply run down, I felt that the pics that I looked at online before I made the reservation, didn’t quite align with reality. The physical property is a bit run down (no big deal there), I will say the location is nice. The room, it is dated, odd, the light had the chord wrapped around the top of it (so not plugged in). The tv, I had to hook it up to get it to turn on, odd. When it came to the service, the second day, they knocked to see if I needed anything, when I said, just one towel, it was if they didn’t understand me, and they needed to come in and reset the towel situation. I will say they were very nice. Look it wasn’t terrible, the bed was comfortable, it was just had to fix up the room so I could have light and a tv.

First off, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I have no complaints there. I had a non-smoking room reserved but the whole building smelled like cigarette smoke so it didn't really matter. The shower did not have a light so I was showering in the dark, and there was definitely residue buildup in the shower. The bathroom door would not shut either. Overall the building is just outdated. This hotel does not have free wifi. I was there two nights and my key card died halfway through, but that happens and again the front desk was very helpful in getting a new one. It worked and was cheap for what I needed, but I wouldn't stay here again. Should pay their front desk more.

Room was good, only problems were the view (onto a small hill), the closet (just a bar and a shelf, but no hangers, not even hooks), the shower (had only a soapdish, more shelves are better), and the reading light (one side didn't work). But these are small problems. The bed was comfy, the location was good, and the reps were responsive. Breakfast was lacking, but that was expected, as we were told it would be continental. I'm satisfied with the stay and the value.

Came to drop my kid off at college. Location is perfect for shopping. Walking distance to many stores and about 3 miles from the dorm or university. Big red flags are no WiFi in the hotel room. I went to the front desk for help and he said we don’t have WiFi in any room unless you come into the lobby area. The TV doesn't work and there is no phone in the room to ask for any help at the desk. Room is not very clean. Paid $240 per night but room quality and comfort is 0. I booked 2 days and they didn't clean the next day. Breakfast was decent but if toaster and waffle maker start together, elasticity goes down in the area. Owner really needs to upgrade. Not again.

The linens were clean (which was KEY), but there were several areas of improvement that could enhance a guests stay. The lamps were not plugged in, one of the bedside lamps did not work, the outlets kept shorting out so using a hair dryer was challenging. The staff was VERY friendly and nice!

I have stayed at worse hotels. Things were a little dated and furniture/desks were not matching which is no biggie, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and employee's were friendly. I understand the $100 deposit BUT was told it would be refunded at check out which is not the case, I was told at check out that it takes 5-7 business days (which left me having to borrow money in order to get back home ) so I would probably not stay there again due to that.

The management charged a $100 deposit. I was told twice that this would be returned when I checked out. This sounded all wrong to me. My deposit was not returned and I was told I would get it back on my credit card in about a week. Then the clerk warned me that a lot of people have not gotten their deposit back. I will not stay in a Travelodge again, and I am considering not staying in any Wyndham. And I don’t plan on using expedia again. This was a ridiculous action and a horrible experience.

The guy in charge of housekeeping ignores the do not disturb and comes in the room regardless. On one instance he only knocked and proceeded to key in and open door. I had advised the front desk that I was here for the week working at hospital overnights and needed rest during the day. 2 out of the three days I was awoken by this man.

cost for service received. When we arrived, the lobby was locked. no one showed up to check us in for 25 minutes. The cost, because of Graduation, was Terribly jacked up. We are glad that our last Granddaughter has graduated, and we will not need To stay there again. Thank goodness.

The entire property has been extensively updated and they did a very nice job. I know because I've stayed there before. The location is excellent, very close to campus and to shopping and many restaurants. Staff was helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again when in Bloomington.

It was very economical, it is definitely older, but no insects or mice or anything in my room, which was clean, place was quiet, I could walk several blocks on one safe street to Indiana University. I paid like 65 bucks a night so I appreciate what I got. They serve a little breakfast in the morning (waffles, bagles, cereal, juice, coffee) included. I stayed almost a week and encountered no problems.

Stayed one night and pretty went to sleep only. Because of close proximity to lot retail around, might as well have breakfast outside, since front lobby is pretty much check in & out, although do have extremely limited room for a very limited breakfast. Otherwise the night went well, clean enough for me and silent as well. If you don't have any high expectations, it will work just fine.

I arrived around 11:00 p.m and the staff was very warm and welcoming. They have waffles, bagels, cereal, and pastries for breakfast along with juice, coffee, and tea. Would stay again if in the area.
