Easy to access off the highway, comfortable and clean, nice hangout area. We bring our own food so it was nice to have dinner at tables. Didn’t use the pool it is stormy but fitness center is decent with quality equipment. Nearby shopping for things you might have forgotten. Approximately 30 miles from port. Overall a good choice made.

We loved the games in the lobby. Traveling with the family and it was great having a fun place to get together.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. It offers free parking and free breakfast, which is very convenient.

Tru doesn't disappoint. Eric was professional and polite. Phenomenal customer service. As in many Tru hotels a great appointed lobby with a variety of snacks and drinks you can buy, a good breakfast, 24/7 coffee and tea and easily work/ great collaborative spaces. Great room with several essentials such as a fridge, iron and boars plus spacious bathroom. Long quiet hours help keep noise down. No microwave in room but didn't think it was a big deal. Foos ball, exercise room and great overall location very convenient to Johnson Space Center and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend and easily would go back.

The Gym was OOO. no coffee pot in room. Construction going on outside our room.

This is the only property we stay at now when visiting Houston. It is always reasonably priced, quiet and tidy. Parking is hassle free and the rooms and property are always clean. There's free breakfast in the morning and free coffee any time of day which we loved. The gym is a good size and has a range of equipment including a peloton (you need your own existing membership to fully use it). The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Room smelled weird, like they use heavy cleaning products to cover up mold or mildew smell. Room was hit and humid even after keeping AC at 68. Interior areas didn’t seem to be kept clean or exterior areas either. Trash can at entrance was full and area around it was sticky due to spilled drinks. Staff wasn’t very welcoming and barley spoke. Breakfast was very lackluster and barely had any options. Pool was murky and overcrowded. Wouldn’t stay at another one of these Tru locations again.

The room felt musty, the soap dispenser needed cleaning. I felt icky the entire time I was there and we only stayed for the night. The place definitely needed to update the linings and towels. Fresher rooms

Our bathroom had hair on the counter near the sink area- the floors didn’t feel very clean either. Shocked for it being a Hilton but just was not impressed by how beaten up Things looked in the room. I went down at 9am to get breakfast for my 5 yr old who was still sleeping and the cortisone was already closed and everything out away. Garbage cans were literally overflowing and I was surprised at that considering I saw 4 employees frequenting the area. Just was a bummer because we arrived at 2:30am for a one night stay and didn’t even get breakfast.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property itself is extremely nice and new. The room was spacious but not really clean. A different hair texture was found near the beds and in the bathroom sink. Some attention to detail is needed.

Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The hotel is in a good location, it’s clean in main areas. Our room was dirty, the bathroom wall was dirty, one of the pillowcases on the bed had makeup on it when we got in for the first time and the floors could have been cleaned better, hair specifically that was not ours. Overall it could have been worse but also could have been better. It’s also very noisy. We didn’t sleep very good, not sure I would book this location again. Surprising because the reviews were pretty good which is why I booked there in the first place

Very clean rooms

Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was spotless.

Easy to locate property and parking was easily available. On check-in, front lobby area was nicely layed out and decorated. Initial staff was welcoming and helpful but there was an issue with our reservation. Host stated that the computer said I had already checked-in and my room was unavailable. They had to look at the video cameras and make a bunch of phone calls and do some computer research. It took about 30-40 mins for them to figure out it was a computer glitch, and they weren't going to let us into our room until "IT" figured it out. I asked a 2nd employee to contact a supervisor to give approval for us to go to our room while they figured it out (because she was telling me she wasn't going to let us). Thankfully the supervisor on the phone gave approval and I assume everything was taken care of because nothing came of it again. The room was comfortable and clean. However, the lobby was dirty and the lobby bathrooms were disgusting. It didn't appear that anyone had even attempted to clean the lobby area since after breakfast that morning. Overall, an average stay. I would potentially give this property another chance.

Really clean, safe and family friendly

The staffs are amazing and helpful. The room is nice and clean. But it’s not quiet and you can hear the room next to you. Even the room above you too. Overall I give 9/10.

Room was tiny. No desk. Only a small counter with weird chair. No closet. Wall hooks and a rack on the wall with a few hangers. Shower had no soap dish, shelf or anywhere to put shampoo, etc. Breakfast didn’t look good. Tried one bite of sausage and decided to go elsewhere.

Great location enjoyed the property. The staff could be more informed about area attractions and were unable to assist with solution to Wi-Fi sign in problem.

It was our first time staying at a Tru. Clean room, great shower, BIG TV, friendly staff and close to shopping, freeway access and restaurants. There was also a mini fridge, but no storage/drawers for clothes storage.

The rooms were nice. I liked having hardfloor for a change. Seems more sanitary than carpet. Although rooms are small they seem updated. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, overall it was a decent experience.

The stay was great up until bedtime. The bed was uncomfortable. It was clearly two beds pushed together and kept sliding down on the frame. Overall it was uncomfortable and clunky as if there was milk crates supporting it.

Internet went down middle of our stay, so small and no washer or dryer

Only real complaint I have is the pillows are terrible. Very flat and over used.

Newer hotel and things were still clean, but the rooms had cheap unattractive laminate flooring, wallpaper that was already peeling, bath door that wouldn’t close properly, and very low water pressure in sink and shower. The sink faucet was too short and barely extended over the sink, so you couldn’t even get your hands under the flow without water going everywhere. The beds were mattresses on platforms instead of box springs, and that would have been fine except that they were horribly uncomfortable. The mattresses also slid around on the platforms and continually had to be pushed back into place. The air conditioner unit did great at cooling its corner while the rest of the room was hot. Overall, one of the most uncomfortable and unpleasant hotel rooms I’ve ever experienced.

Clean room, Friendly staff

I always stay here. Newer hotel and very well maintained. Only complaint was with the number of days/nights I stayed, they should have cleaned my room and replenished towels, emptied garbage cans, etc. one time. They did not. Service is supposed to be every other day.

the Manager at this was very quietly unhelpful. She did not offer any solution to the issue rather than "I am sorry" statement. Not very helpful at all. The unspoken attitude was very unsettling.

There was NO breakfast at 8 45 AM. The breakfast close at 9 AM. The staff was very rude and told that the dont required to keep cooking until 9 am and suggested we eat th le cereals kept there. I approached the hotel reception for assistance and they cared very little. I asked for the name of the rude person incharge of breakfast in order to make a report and they did not share details. The hotel did not have hot water in bathroom for bathing. It was just warmer.

Great property, efficient staff.

Excellent bed, new rooms, very clean. Only issue was the staff who checked me in. She was texting on her phone when I walked up and continued to text as I stood there! I never had this experience before in my life.

Close to Costco and NASA.

The property appears to be just alright. In my opinion it's a bit overpriced. I thought it's close to NASA but turned out it's not as close as I thought, still requiring about 10-15 mins of driving. The worst part of the stay happened when I discovered a large molded bagel in the bread container. It's not just some small mold but the green mold pretty much covering the entire bagel and it's placed right in the bread container where lots of breads and toasts are placed. I'm pretty sure all the other breads are covered with the mold spores even when it's not visible to the eyes. I was shocked by the seen so I was alerting people around without realizing the girl who attends to the breakfast bar was behind me. The first thing she said to me was not to apologize for this situation or for the negligence of her work, but to scold me for speaking up. She said "why do you have to be so loud?!" What worst was when she said that this isn't the first time. Horrible! Who knows for how many times they have served expired, molded breads or could be other breakfast choices to customers. When I took out of my phone to take a picture she quickly removed the tray and trying to prevent me from taking a picture of it. Luckily I still got it on evidence.

A little off the beaten path but very comfortable

Stayed overnight on our way to galveston for a cruise. Very clean hotel, safe neighborhood with lots of eating and shopping options nearby.

I went to visit my daughter. The hotel was a great location. When we wanted to go shopping or eat we didnt have to go too far at all. The lobby was beautiful, with a great selection at the hotels personal market. I really enjoyed teaching my princess how to play foosball. Definitely coming back to this hotel on my next visit. I loved it.

Great area to stay in.

Not easy to see or locate

We stayed for one night on the Fourth of July. I attempted to check in online, that was problematic. I thought it was successful, but when we arrived I had not checked in. The room was clean, but the bed was as hard as a rock. We were given a handicap room that we did not request. The following morning we had breakfast, and that was a mess. Very few options, and what was available was either out or sparse. No one was monitoring the breakfast scene and it was completely unorganized. Unfortunately this was just not a pleasant stay and we will not be returning to this hotel. There are other less expensive hotels in the area that are much nicer.

It was great - cute trendy hotel. Breakfast is only served until 9:00 am. That’s a real bummer.

We loved the breakfast!

No eggs for over 30 minutes and every other item besides the cereal was picked over and there was no coffee either and we even waited for that too.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly, but upon arrival we were given a room with a damaged refrigerator so we had to change rooms. Additionally, the breakfast is the worst, the bacon looks like fried plastic. For all the people going to breakfast they only have a toaster with two loaves of bread. There was no milk, neither hot nor cold, it really couldn't be worse. The ice machine is on the first floor, so if you need ice, you have to go down to that floor for it. Regarding the rooms, very clean and comfortable, but a bit smelly. I think the pet friendly rooms should be apart from the normal ones, since the two days we were there, we were woken up by a dog crying early in the morning.

Clean hotel with great breakfast options.

This place is easy to find, but a little difficult to get out of if you need to go north. Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in dispensers. We enjoyed our 3 night stay there. The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. The pancake machine was out of order and the skillet with the eggs and sausage didn't work the 2nd morning so they were cold. They had 4 kinds of juice, 4 kinds of cereal, grits, sausage and scrambled eggs, apples and yogurt. The only bread/pastry item was a bagel, which was delicious when yoasted in their toaster oven.
