Suites Malecon Cancun

Le gustó el hotel - residencial. Esta en la plaza muy bien ubicado y el departamento muy bien cuidado y con las cosas necesarias para estar por periodos medianos y largos. La única cosa es que la alberca el agua está muy fría. Parece algo trivial pero no se puede usar la alberca en la tarde noche. Es muy fría

Front staff forced us to find an atm at 8pm to pay deposit instead of taking a credit. Seeing we are a family with kids had no impact. Only 2 elevators for 17 floor building. Only one was working. There are more inconveniences to get from parking to the lobby and then room. But will spare you. Didnt enjoy.

The concierge (Daniel) was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's too bad they don't heat that beautiful pool - it's so cold, we never saw anyone in it during our ten night stay. The pool has a hot tub at one end, and it was freezing cold. I'm sure it was designed to have the hot tub heated, while overflowing into the pool.

Amazing, clean, comfortable. Internet sucks but aside from that amazing property!

The property is nice in downtown cancun. Note it is connected to a mall and there are stores/bars/restaurants close by because this is not an all inclusive stay. there’s no bar nor restaurant within the hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Room is nice and spacious (I stayed in a king size balcony by myself).

Great property, friendly staff. WiFi sucks

The check in was timely but somehow I missed the deposit had to be paid in cash. I got a refund at checkout. You have to wait for your shower to warm up but the pressure will sting you. Enjoyed the pool but not many lounge chairs. Towels will not dry over night and they only clean room and change towels every other day, but you can ask and get towels. I was on 9th floor facing the city but noise was not bad. I will be going back there in the future, only short walk to the Mall and food court.

El internet fallo mucho pero me dieron solucion rapida, aunque no mejoro, el Gerente me ofrecio que para mi proxima estancia si ocurre de nuevo, me moveran a una habitacion que tenga un mejor internet.

It's showing its age. computers were't working. elevators out of service. very convenient location. infinity pool is not flowing. Pizza oven was full of trash. Unusable. Sofa has seen better days.

He ido en otras ocasiones y la limpieza ha estado increíble, sin embargo esta vez no fue así . Me encontré con una baño sucio, toallas con olor a humedad, el grifo del lavamanos sucio. Por lo demás todo bien pero sería bueno que trabajaran en esos aspecto.

Multiple bites from bed bugs and even saw 2 cockroaches.... we were told the maid would not come in if we didn't put the tab on the door. she came in and even put multiple tip envelopes in our stuff... felt very unsafe and uneasy about it. stains everywhere... on the couch, pillows, bedding blankets and sheets, towels.. entrance door to our room was in very rough condition. VERY Noisy below the complex. Couldn't even check in on time because they were not ready for us.. a tiny bottle of water was the only thing I received for this inconvenience. windows in room and sliding door to balcony don't close all the way or lock. still water sitting in the tub in the room where the washing machine was. glad we didn't spend time in our room very much. I WILL NOT BOOK HERE EVER AGAIN.

Dirty sheets and nasty pillows

I am going to leave a honest review, because I know the economy is stretching a lot of us thin, including the commercial industry. The property photos are not an accurate depiction of the area surrounding the hotel, or lobby/common area. The pool had dirt on bottom & needed to be vacuumed. There is a thick layer of dust over the lobby, and the pool table in the lobby, and the lobby smells like a sweaty casino. It is not fresh as you would hope from photos. I did not have a phone that worked in my room and was provided the incorrect WiFi password for my room, this was not fixed until my last night there. The attention to detail is why this hotel is somewhat uncomfortable, both hot tubs were dirty, my first room had hair in hot tub and sheets, my second room the outside had smeared dirt. The glass on the balcony looked like it was never cleaned. The remotes were dirty, I washed them, the plastic holding WiFi info dirty, the housekeeper introduction card dirty with food finger prints. The inside of the refrigerator dirty, we had a $100 meal that I threw leftovers away rather than use the smelly dirty refrigerator. The glass in shower only cleaned on outside I cleaned the inside with wet wipes & it shined. The room in general dusty &more attention to detail could have made this 5 star. The hotel is under construction so yellow tape in pool area &paint chips fall on balcony. The positive, there were no bugs in my room, I searched mattress for bed bugs and found none. Nice staff.

Cocina sucia con muchas cucarachas pequeñas

The property itself is a difficult to navigate for travelers because it is connected to a shopping mall and the parking situation is confusing. The check-in process was decent enough but they only accept cash deposits, which was not specified during booking or confirmation. The facility is not like the online photos as everything is old and dusty from not being used. There is no infinity pool, the jacuzzi is not in a working or clean state. There were strands of hair all throughout the room, as well as ants. The bedding had stains from many uses over time and so did the towels. Seeing as Cancun is very humid, we took many rinses and needed to request replacements multiple times a day. The maids were very rude when they would bring towels, banging on the door and not replying to our thanks. The noise in the neighborhood is not the hotel's fault but it has to be noted. We are a young couple and did not get too upset about it but it is non-stop loud music through each night here. The best part of the stay is the location, near the mall with plenty of shopping, a grocery store and lots of restaurants that are walking distance.

Der Whirlpool und das Zimmer war leider nicht sauber. Aber für eine Nacht war es OK.

Esta vez la verdad me pareció mal, desde que llegué sucias las sillas, los sillones, cojines y el balcón de la suite , me tuve que ir a comprar desinfectantes y poniendo toallas arriba de las sillas para poder sentarmos

The hotel was not clean.

I’m leaving a 3-star rating — I would have given 2 stars, but I was able to take care of the issues on my own. The hotel itself was okay, but the main concern was the cleanliness of the room. The room we were given was not cleaned properly at all. The bathroom was filthy, there was urine around the toilet, the shower door was covered in hard water stains, and there was hair in the sink and on the bed. The dressers were not wiped down, and you could still see stains from previous guests’ food and drinks. If you’re just looking for a budget-friendly place to stay and don’t mind purchasing cleaning supplies to clean the room yourself, then this place may work for you. However, overall, I was not satisfied with my stay.

El hotel me gusta su ubicaciones y acceso a la plaza. Pero es urgente cambiar colchones, sobrecamas, sabanas, toallas y principalmente almohadas por algo de mejor calidad. Todos sus blancos estan viejos y deshilachados.

The location is great. It is attached to the local shopping mall which is very large. There are a lot of choices for food and entertainment nearby. The room was enough space for our party of 2 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was enough to make our own meals if we chose to. Our children has their own bathroom and shower. It was nice to have our own bedroom with a view of the ocean and lagoon. Locating the parking was a little strange at first but easy to get the hang of. The traffic around the hotel can get busy but not terrible. The balcony of our suite had a nice view as well. Would stay again.

Beds a little rough. Kitchen is nice. Washer but no dryer. Nice view and amenities. Great location. Very loud.

Staff was generally friendly helpful and supportive. however the cleaning crew would agree to an alt cleaning schedule and not show up. Room upon arrival looked like it had been cleaned but hadn’t been used in a while and no new cleaning prior to arrival but everything was in moderate condition. Biggest downside was the beds were hard as ROCKs and the pillows were flat and not very supportive.

the property hardware is really bad: for 4 days, we dont have a good shower, the shower is either supper hot or supper cold water. The water pressure is very low too! Never experienced a hotel like that. There are other problems too....

Avons été très déçu en comparaison d’avec 2020. Grande détérioration des installations. Manque de propreté de notre suite: coussins et meubles sales et en mauvais état, peu confortables. Intérieur des armoires et tiroirs sales. Manque de vaisselle de base mais qui a été corrigé à notre demande. Seulement 2 parasols autour de la piscine dont un seul fonctionnel. Manque de chaises longues pour le nombre de personnes et coussins sales. Personnel gentil mais sans aucun pouvoir. On a apprécié la proximité de l’épicerie et de pouvoir utiliser le chariot jusqu’à l’appart. La grandeur de la suite et la vue. Le ménage fait à tous les jours par une femme de ménage très gentille. Malheureusement, nous ne retournerons pas aux Suites Malecon et ne les recommanderons pas, dû au grand manque d’entretien.

La suite y el servicio excelente, lo malo es que enfrente hay un lugar de espectáculos que hace mucho ruido y muy tarde , terminó a las 5 de la mañana!

ongoing noise up to 4am.

Soy cliente frecuente de suites malecon, me gusta mucho su ubicacion y cercania con el centro comercial y restaurantes etc. Las habitaciones estan "bien" en terminos generales. Pero considero que los colchones, sobrecamas y almohadas ( principalmente almohadas) ya requiren un cambio urgente.

We had a King suite and it was a nice layout. The rooms are not particularly clean. But not terrible. The ceiling over the shower started to fall in from a leak and we moved rooms. Our 2nd room was really not great. For some reason it was the same but different. The mattress was terrible. It was on the 17th floor and the wind was as awful, shaking the shutters. But the 1st room we had wasn’t quiet either. There is a music club across the street that plays music incredibly loud until about 4am every night. One of the reasons we booked here was for the gym, but it was in VERY poor condition with both treadmills not working. It should not be advertised as an amenity ignore not usable!! Things that were good - staff was super nice. Very convenient entrance to the mall with a grocery store, shopping and restaurants. Not sure we would stay here again though.

access is difficult to find, parking is not defined and changes, front desk occasionally answers, took about 40 minutes for them to get my TV working. Was only here overnight, but staff was less than friendly in just this short time. Bring cash.

Todo bien, excelente servicio.

Room was very clean on arrival and the housekeeping was awesome. The man at the front desk was rude and very condescending he is the reason for the poor review. We will stay at another property close by on our next visit to Cancun because of this one person. He ruined the entire 3 night stay. Perhaps the hotel should consider some training in professionalism for him. Definitely will not stay here again. Cannot recommend the property.

The property was very clean, quiet, and safe. Too safe. No one was allowed in without checking in at the front gate. No one, not even family or friends were allowed in the hotel. No visitors allowed, not even in the lobby, No room service, no bellhop, no restaurants and no bar in the hotel. Not enough shade for those sunny and hot days by the pool. No tables and chairs for eating and drinking at poolside. You had to leave a $100 cash deposit for any damage done to the room. Nice hotel with a great view and good location but I wouldn't be back. One big concern, when checking out, our passports were missing from our room. They ended up being at the front desk. I was so relived that we found that I didn't even ask how they got there but, we swear we had them with us in the room. If we had left them behind at check-in why weren't they return to us immediately. Why would they be asking for a $100 deposit if they had our passports? This was very troubling.

4/5. Too many rules. Leave $100 cash deposit at the check in. Separate cards for room and elevator, and you only get 1 elevator card per room. Lose a room card - $20 fine. Want a beach towel - leave a room key as a deposit. Checkout at 1200 sharp - after that they threaten to charge you by the minute and use your cash deposit for that. Kind of confusing building entrance, takes a couple of hours to get used to. The good. - nice and new suite, full kitchen with dishes and hardwares, coffe machine and a nice view. Clean bed and floor, convenient location next to a supermarket

When I arrived at the garage entrance, I was greeted by Daniel who was very helpful and friendly. He informed me of any excursions and he could arrange these things. I have been a guest there before and appreciate his humor and exuberance. Upon arriving upstairs at the hotel desk, I was greeted once again by Marisol who is very service oriented, friendly and competent. I enjoyed my stay and I will most definitely return in the future. I highly recommend Suites Malecon.

Front desk person, Dinera, was not courteous or pleasant to talk to. She checked me in the hotel on my arrival; day. access to the hotel is terrible also

DO NOT GO ! I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The staff enters the rooms without notice, they are unhelpful and sometimes even disrespectful. They look for every possible way to charge you extra… real scammers! Upon arrival, you’re required to pay a 1000 pesos cash deposit, and when leaving, they might try to find any excuse to make you pay more. The hotel is also very noisy. If you come across this place, seriously, don’t go!

The staff is really bad, one of the girls upfront is extremely rude with long blonde hair, the way they talk to the clients is horrible. I witnessed four different people. And when they say, we will take care of it that they are not going to take care of it. I kept on hearing the same story from everyone, but the place has a nice space for a family or two people although it’s very basic. It’s worth the money. I don’t think I’m going back because of the front desk. The best part of the hotel was I think his name was Danielle the guy who meet you on the first floor he has been the shining star of the whole experience! You guys better give him a raise and don’t ever let him go otherwise there’s no reason to ever come back

GREAT LOCATION!!

Understaffed & undertrained. They kept referring us to the adjacent mall for services. The hotel is fine, though the disco down the street pounding bass from around 11pm to 4-5am was less than ideal

I booked with intent to be away from the hotel zone. I have no regrets, but some may disagree with my choice. Not close to the beach, but literally steps to a huge mall. Not to like: agree with many…hard to find (even for experienced shuttle service). To like: staff is awesome.

The property and staff were great. The area is wonderful as far as walking to great food and shopping. There was a bar across the street that stayed open 24/7 that was so loud I did not sleep a full night I was there. I had a fan app on my phone but still could hear the music, this went until 4 to 6am 7 days a week.

It's a little difficult to find because it's part of a very large shopping center/parking garage/apartment complex. Our taxi drivers had difficulty finding it, but not the hotel's fault. The room was good, came with a coffee pot but you need to provide your own coffee. Nice pool and outdoor area, good gym. Would stay again. Hotel staff called for taxis for us, but they seemed a little higher priced than directly, but prices seem to vary depending on the provider. But that's Mexico! Recommend the hotel!

good location in downtown

Su ubicación es espectacular, es muy conveniente por su ubicación y tienes todo alrededor, pero muy complicado entrar, te hacen dejar un depósito en efectivo, que no es muy claro para qué, y tienes que pasar tres filtros para poder llegar a tu habitación, aparte de qué el acceso a la habitación es muy enredado.

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with 936 sq ft which is bigger than our house in Los Angeles, USA. We paid around $106 out the door. We saved money on taxi rides because it was adjacent to the Las Americas shopping mall and has its own private card key entrance to the mall. We didn't use the kitchen because we ended up just eating at the mall or getting mall restaurant takeaway or shopping at the malls supermarket. For breakfast, the supermarket has a food court that opens early with a patisserie and coffee shop (cappuccino: 49 pesos). So, with dozens of restaurants at the mall from counter service to full service, there could be a hurricane outside and you have your choice of dozens of restaurants without getting wet. The food court at the mall had mariachis playing when we ate there on Sunday afternoon, too. The taxi driver from the airport found the hotel easily. We also re-found the entrance by asking taxi drivers and security guards. Of course, I studied Spanish for a few years in Los Angeles which makes asking for directions easier. All entrances required passing guards or key cards or both which gave me the impression of safety. Access is through a parking garage and there are several access points to the various towers. We stayed in the Vancouver tower. Some guests complained it was noisy, and perhaps they should have gone on vacation to a quieter place like the Antarctic. If you are looking for a park closeby with a trail to get away from it all, I recommend the Kabah

Loved that the property was attached to the Plaza Las Americas which is great shopping and has a super selection of restaurants for dining.

Loved everyone about this accommodation. The room is comfortable. The balcony is spacious with amazing views! The jacuzzi was perfect to end my night with, especially with the night time views. It was absolutely perfect and a great highlight. I love that the mall was next door! I was given an access key to quickly get into the mall. So many food options to choose at great prices. I highly recommend this one for sure!

This hotel is in a great location! So many restaurants and things to do all in walking distance. Taxis are just around the corner, we took one from the hotel to Playa Tortugas less than 15 minutes! We went for a concert at Beto Águila Stadium and again it was such a short drive. We would of loved If this location would of had a lobby bar but not a deal breaker for us. Also it was pretty noisy at night but we were able to sleep thru it! We enjoyed our stay overall would come back!

They should have their own restaurant or at least a coffee bar. Bagels and pastries etc. Otherwise its a good value.

This place is perfect for I needed it for I was solo traveling. There were so many options because because the mall was a three minute walk so there was unlimited shopping and food. This is my first time in Mexico and I did not have to take a taxi anywhere because everything is so close even a grocery store and a Walmart express And a few restaurants.
