The bed the pillow blanket was nice and comfortable and warm The pool was cold too cold to go swimming in The curtain on the shower was too short sometimes it shot out of the bathtub TV with small and blurry went in and fixed it the best I could people were good people that work there were good The morning breakfast wasn't too bad 6 stars out of 10

Hotel was clean and hosts were very friendly and helpful. The facility is a bit outdated and the indoor pool was not available. Some traffic noise and late night talking in hallway but not fault of the owners. Breakfast was good with multiple choices.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was basic but did the job. The grandkids loved the pool. Parking was easy. Burger King next door was convenient. No loud guests which was peaceful. Only negatives: No elevator, so stairs became our workout. Keys kept getting demagnetized which was annoying. Overall, it was as worth the price.

The neighborhood is a very rough neighborhood for starters. The indoor pool was so cold that you couldnt enjoy the pool the was closed early without any explanation as to why and the manager was extremely rude will never atay at this establishment again

We were extremely upset to find a large area of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We brought this to the attention of the front counter check-in employee. She said she could do nothing as her manager was on break and proceeded to tell me I must wait 30 minutes for him to return from break. We said we wanted a new room and felt it was unreasonable to have to wait for approval from her manager. Finally she did give us a new room. Later we spoke to the manager and we said that the black mold must be repaired in the bathroom of the first room we were checked into before other travellers are booked into that room.It was totally unacceptable to pay good money and have to deal with a health issue like this! Totally unacceptable.

I found this last minute, for one to charge $150.00 for incident fee is outrageous. Your room is only 80.00. When I went tot he room the keys didn’t work. Got that situated and then sat down for a few in the chair. About 45 mins later I went to lay down. I threw the covers back and there was 4-5 bed bugs. I got my stuff and went downstairs the front desk guy wasn’t there. I waited and then I lefts they are refusing a refund

First of all I was placed in a handicap accessible non-smoking room which smelled of smoke and very musky, the shower head fell off while attempting to take a shower falling on my foot and wetting foot badly creating a slip hazard until I got it secured. Which seem not to be a priority when I informed staff,. Also me and my fiance was forced to place our clothes and blankets in the window because the blinds won't go All the way down, pool walls were filthy and ladders were loose, wall vents were dirty and both Management & Staff Members were extremely rude! It was so humid in the room that even linen, pillows and blankets were wet. It was so cold to sleep with AC on because of humidity and it was impossible to use the wet blankets. We left the bag on the floor, and 4 hours later the bag became wet. We asked to change the room and were said no rooms were available, but when the manager comes back tomorrow, you'll get a full or partial refund. Next morning when the manager showed up ,he played stupid like he didn't understand what linen or clothes mean in English. Thank God we reserved one night only. I never recommend the place even for an enemy!

This hotel was very nice and well kept. Very clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Room was updated and roomy. The bathroom was very small and hard to maneuver around the toilet. The one thing that was bad was you could hear the water, toilet, shower, and person walking around in the room above us. Besides that, we had a quiet, restful stay. I was a little concerned when we arrived, there were young men hanging around the parking lot near the rear of the hotel. We parked in front where they had a security camera on the building. The hotel property was very clean and well kept. There was plenty shopping and restaurants choices in the area.

Came for a wedding - able to get in slightly earlier than check in time to change clothes. Room was clean and when we returned, very quiet for sleeping. Beds very comfortable!

I called to give courtesy to cancel as we had a tire mishap and the very rude desk clerk hung up on me. I was very courteous (witness to our conversation) but the desk clerk refused to connect me to a manager when he was unable to answer my question. Will never book again which is unfortunate as I utilize Wyndham facilities but will no longer do so after this unprofessional personnel.

Check in was easy but due to weather I had to leave early and the front desk said as long as I check out by that days check out time I could be refunded if allowed thru Expedia because that’s who I booked thru. Expedia had no issue giving me a refund but the hotel would not allow it even after they said it was fine as long as I checked out by check out

The staff at the Baymont is very friendly and accommodating - I didn’t get down for breakfast until right at 9:00 & the young man putting the breakfast food away kept it all out for me and my son to eat. Everyone from the cleaning people to the front desk were very friendly. The only thing that needs work is the outside of the building. It needs a facelift & some cleaning up. But we will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Waterloo.

We didn't get a chance to check in. The deskclerk said he could not find our reservation. We gave them our confirmation number and showed him all our confirmation emails along without itinerary saying everything was confirmed. The desk clerk refused to even try and retype the confirmation number in. He kept saying there is nothing they could do. Offered us another room but we would have to pay for it. Sorry but reservation was already paid for and confirmed. They were very rude and uncooperative. We want our money back.

The hotel was a great stay for our family. We were wanting a stay close to Lost Island water park and were looking for some place comfortable but not expensive. This hotel fit the bill perfect. My family were happy :)

Pros: lots of fast food places to eat nearby (Freddy's was great). Super close to target amd walmart and 5mins away from Lost Island. Easy access to the highway. Cons: The back of the hotel faces the highway, and the entryway parking area on that side is unkept and I was not comfortable using that entrance... it felt a little sketchy. At night, there were trucks making lots of noise. It sounded like the trucks were picking up the big trash metal bins and emptying them. There was an annoying beeping sound when the trucks were backing up.

When we got here, the check in was perfect. Went to our room and it was very clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was perfect, so many options, eggs, sausage, waffles, bread for toast, bagels, coffee, milk, juice. You can tell the owners and the employees care for the people that stay here. This hotel is added to a place to stay for us when we travel again. We stay in a lot of hotels on our trips and this one is at the top of our list

What a pleasant surprise for an inexpensive nights stay tjust passing through. The staff was friendly, the reception and breakfast area spotless, the room was spotless too with a comfortable, clean bed and cold a/c. The bathroom had plenty of towels and shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. The breakfast had hot choices with a waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage links, different breads and cereals, oatmeal pkts, yogurt and fruit and juices. The coffee wasnt the greatest, our only complaint. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Ok to stay at but don’t stay cas of breakfast it’s terrible ,, I thought cas they served eggs and sausage it would be great stay ,, breakfast is horrible cold eggs and you will literally chip a tooth on sausage links but price was great and cleanliness was very good ,, but get your breakfeasr somewhere else
