Nicely renovated and really close to Paddington for easy transportation. The rooms are small and there is only one small elevator, which can be time consuming waiting for it and missing it because it is already full. Overall it was a good hotel to stay in.

It was a very nice place to stay. The rooms was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The only problem was that it did not have a guest laundry, which was one of the reasons I selected it. Hotels.com said it did, although after reviewing the hotel website it did not indicate.

Lovely hotel; clean and homely rooms with everything you need plus a fridge. Good bathroom size. The hotel was brilliantly refurbished and up to date. Nice breakfast selection. Only criticism was that we had to go outside to get into the other building and that we were on the lower ground floor so no natural light. Would definitely stay here again for the location and value for money.

Pros: Great location, large room suitable for a family. Clean. Bed was very comfortable. Cons: Front desk staff were hit and miss. We seemed to be told different information depending on who we spoke to. Check-out took an incredibly long time bizarrely. The elevator is also less than ideal for this staying in the basement since there is no direction indicator. After waiting 10 minutes with two small children and 3 suitcases I had to eventually go to the lobby and take it down so that we could get on.

Stayed here before but given a newer room in the next building. Fine but up and down stairs, through multiple doors with suitcases isn’t ideal… then the door didn’t work, so was locked out at midnight, and had to be given a key to get in…. They didn’t seem To care at all…. For the price it’s crazy

The location was great, and generally the room was nice - quite spacious by London standards. However, cleanliness left a lot to be desired. On the day of check in, my sheets had a blood stain on it. I reported this to the front desk and when I returned to my room in the evening, the sheet was still there. The night employee had to get a new sheet and try to make it himself (since housekeeping had gone home). He also told me to speak with the manager in the morning - I did, and showed pictures of the blood stain, and there was never any follow up from the manager. We also noticed that when they clean your room, they don't change the sheets - they only make the bed and bring new towels. Several times new pillowcases were left on top of our suitcase. But then why not just change them? Additionally, if this matters to you - the rooms don't really come with deadbolts that you can lock when you're inside.

Two big problems. The pictures for the double room show two single beds, but this is not correct (one small double bed only). Also the internet was not working and it seemed this was an ongoing problem. We weren't informed of this until after we finalized our checkin. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and tried their best to fix these problems.

Close to Paddington underground and train station; also close to a collection point for a couple of the hop on-hop off tours. Lots of food options in the area. The room was comfortable. The bathroom had heated floors which were too warm for our liking (didn’t appear to be a way to adjust this). Room air conditioning worked well. The safe lock did not seem to work; we called the front desk who said the instructions were inside the safe (they were not), and could not offer instructions. We stayed in a basement room (LG5); I recommend using the “sleeping” button on the room panel so that staff/guests are quieter in the hallways overnight and in the early hours.

Nice location to different foods, and a close walk to Paddington Station as well as a stop for the big bus blue route and Toto’s. Only reason it wasn’t a “5” is because the walls and ceilings are fairly thin, so when people come back really late at night you can hear them.

The rooms were quite small & only had a double bed . The bathroom was very small . In order to close the door had to put yourself back as far as you could against the tub . We had room 403 . But ,overall property condition was very good

Super convenient to Paddington Station, Heathrow Express and underground. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and other transport for getting around London. We had a very large, clean room in the new tower. Beautiful bathroom with double vanity. Our friends weren’t so fortunate. They were in main building basement and had a horror of a room…musty, damp with steps in various areas. Definitely ask to stay in new tower!

Set in a historical building, all of the fixtures and finishes were top of the line. The hardware was high quality and the whole hotel just said well made. The bed was a pillow top and the linens and towels were all high quality. The room was the size they said, but there was a carpeted area suitable for my morning stretches. Will stay again.

Very close to Paddington Station. Clean but small room. Check-in staff were a bit abrupt on the phone to other customers and thwy answered the phone whilst checking us in which then delayed us and felt a bit rude. Breakfast was tasty but there were no coffee cups and staff didnt notice. Once informed they rectified the problem quickly. I returned to our table with my coffee only to find staff had put a dirty tray there, right in feont of my daughter, who was eating, whilst they took the room numbera of guests arriving in the dinig room. Just little things that could easily be ironed out.

All of the staff was extremely helpful as our family of 9 arrived. Daniel was awesome and Pedro even opened the bar a few minutes early for me one evening. Couldn't ask for better attention from the staff.

Raj the trainee was completely rude when arriving extremely poor customer service skills. Staff seem like they’re there to not offer any help or welcoming to the hotel. No manners at all. No information about breakfast so we missed that. Room wasn’t big enough for one person let alone two. TB didn’t work. Only good thing was the cleanliness of the room Would not recommend at all to anybody.

I booked this nearly a year previously an on the booking you selected how many beds. On arrival there was only double an smal sofa bed. I requested 2 singles an double which that’s what I paid for! I was told lies that there is no single beds. More lies I went on to the site to check there’s the option for 2 singles a double sofa. I also requested pillows of course there was none the pillows in the room were paper thin an I was told they’d only one spare to give me. The manger never bothered checking with me or even giving us more the next day! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all unhelpful a beds were ridiculous uncomfortable. I will be seeking a part refund for this as it’s not what I booked an then to be told a pack of lies! Unacceptable that these hotels just throw u in whatever rooms they want

Very good family room, lots of space, a huge bed and a sofa bed, another sofa with 2 chairs and a table. We stayed in the lower ground floor (basement) which didn't sound good at first, but was actually a very new part of the hotel. Bathroom was also modern and good. No conditioner which was unusual for a hotel, so bring your own or but from one of the convenience stores nearby. Also a nearby Tesco, Superdrug and bakeries. Also less than 5 minutes from Paddington station so a very convenient place to stay.

The location was fantastic just a few minutes walk from Paddington station and loved the close proximity to Hyde Park. Heaps of food places nearby & convenience store right across the road from hotel. A quiet street & safe location. I would definitely stay again.

So close to Paddington station we walked after getting off the Heathrow express. We were 5 mins from Hyde Park and could walk everywhere like Oxford street etc. alternatively the Tube station is close .

The bed was super small and so was the room, it was raining so the windows wouldn’t close properly so you could hear the water streaming down, the room temperature was extremely hot even which made me put the aircon on which woke me up as I was hot and cold. The shower was shocking as it was at an angle. I was disgusted and kept on banging my head as there was no room to move and the actual bathroom door would not fully open when I was at the sink. Not even a bottle of water was there. On top of that, the restaurant was apparently closed on a Sunday so when I arrived, I had to look elsewhere.

Nice hotel, clean and efficient. Incredible breakfast. However, they need a little maintenance in regard to electrical plugs which failed to work most of the time. We also had an encounter at the front desk with a woman desk clerk, who is very rude and impatient with us. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay and the breakfast is incredibly good. Extremely convenient to Paddington station.
