We had the suite booked and upon arrival they took us to a basement area- that smelt of mold and the bathroom was not clean- mold around the tub etc. we asked to be moved to a regular room- we did not care about the price difference as we were NOT prepared or willing to stay in the accommodation they listed as a luxurious suite. The staff was AMAZING and very accommodating. The suite we were offered was very small but very clean. AC needed to be adjusted by the front desk. The fact that we had no working internet on site was a HUGE ISSUE - as well and not the fault of the working staff. The owners need to invest in an internet solution. Thank you

Stayed at the Edward Hotel whilst attending an event at the Royal Lancaster Hotel 5 minutes walk away. Chose to stay at the Edward Hotel as it was much more affordable. The room was very comfortable with quiet air conditioning and clean. Main criticism was the tiny shower room but this is not uncommon for a London hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Felt safe walking around the area as a lone female. Helpful staff on the front desk. Although no meals are provided there is the option to order in but I didn’t try this feature. Numerous restaurants close by.

Super friendly receptionists. Easy access, walking distance from paddington. Room was clean and everything worked fine, hot water pressure, Aircon, etc. Walls a bit thin and possible to hear neighbors closing their doors but I could still have a good sleep. A bit in the upper price range for the value but I guess you are paying for the location and convenient distance to train station. Lots of restaurants, ATM, souvenir shops on the same street and plenty more within walking distance.

Good points. Near Paddington and buses. 24 hr reception. On site parking for extra charge. First come first served. Qu ite quiet in the basement at night. Efficient a/c. Negatives. This is in a convent location near the tube station. There was a kettle with coffee and tea in the room. Only one chair for 2 people. The big problem with hotel was that there was no WIFI and on their website when we booked it and upon arrival there was a notice saying no WIFI.

The hotel is centrally located near Hyde Park and a bunch of attractions. It’s a cozy place but is showing its age. The AC was not working well, and in the top floor, that made for a warm night. The parking was slightly expensive, and the beds weren’t super comfortable.

The room was small, but clean. Hoever the bathroom had mold. When we teported it, the manager checked it out abd sgrred tgst it had yo be fixed. Staff very helpful. I left something behind and they located it and hel ut for me to pick up. Very well located near to Paddington Station.

We asked for the shower curtain to be replaced as the one in our room was stained and old. The water also did not drain properly whilst showering so each person had to stand in dirty water. The carpets also felt old and dirty. Overall not satisfied with this experience for the price we paid a $276.00 USD - night

Need to be updated. The beds were so uncomfortable. They sink in in the middle and the carpet was old and ripped by the bathroom. Also, the curtain needed to be changed and the a/c didn't work. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the place was cleaned everyday and our towels changed. I feel they charged to much for the condition of the room.

Staff were great. Very clean on the whole (pile of the last customers dirty washing was left on bedroom floor). Property does need some renovations and things shabby or broken such as tiles, toilet seat, shower tray but its kept clean. Amazing location and beds comfy.

Location was great and the staff was so sweet. I really wanted to give a good review, however the room (Suite) we were in was in the basement and was very damp, moldy, and mildew. The stairs down to it were a bit treacherous in the rain. I am highly allergic to mold and struggled with my breathing. There were black spots on ceiling, walls, etc.

Pros: good location, friendly staff, all amenities one needs, such as bed (albeit very soft) towels, good hot shower, kettle, tea, coffee, soap, aircon etc. Cons: Noisy with traffic, constant cold draft through window, curtains didnt cover outside light, hairs on fresh bed linen, very dusty aircon, which set off my allergies and a lot of grimy spots in the shower and dust in less obvious spots. I didn't feel the room had been properly cleaned in a while. Needs some TLC.

Everything was mostly fine I’d say my room maybe tight for 2 ppl seeing the double bed. But for 1 person it’s ok. Only gripe was window wouldn’t fully close and when asking front desk another rooms TV was loud I didn’t hear anything change. So I had to go knock myself and with immediate response the TV was turned down. It sounded like the TV was played in my room it was so loud. Noticed at 22:00 didn’t mind, then 01:00 minded a little then woke up 05:00 to the same volume. Apart from that 1 night £184 on a Thursday, I’d say is little steep but mostly ok and if I had to use I would again. And I may use the suite instead as 4 nights for a couple is far cheaper than a single night alone. As for the window was muggy and mild so it not closing wasn’t an issue but maybe for future winter months. And air con when room was warm, was loud. But all good and average, clean and staff were nice.

Great location, nice service. The room is pretty small, but you get what you pay for. The bathrooms size is too small for beiing a fuctional bathroom, you need to undres before going in. We had a nice stay at the Edward Hotel. The room and bathroom were a bit on the small side but manageable. The only downside is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear literally everything!!

Great location, but the room was TINY, not worth 850 CAD for two nights—the hot water was variable, the bathroom so narrow you could barely sit on the toilet, and the overall feel was quite shabby. Not very soundproof to other units. No fridge or storage space really and the TV on an angled wall that was not easy to see from any area of the room. Four beds but only two chairs and two cups for coffee.

It had its own separate entrance from outside the hotel. No soap or shower gel in the bathroom. However bed was comfortable; receptionist was charming; tv worked; ac available although also possible to open (safely barred) window. Given location and price it was okay for my brief visit.

We picked this hotel because of an easy access from Heathrow Airport via Elizabeth Line to Paddington Station. 4 of us stayed in a Family Room for two nights. Our room was on the 1st floor (one floor above the ground floor). Our room turned out to be a split level room with the entrance door between two levels, not recommended especially for older folks. The upper level has two beds with no space in between and a small desk. The lower level has two beds with a tiny space in between and a bathroom. A closet was on a small hallway on the upper level. The entire place is so tiny and tight to do anything. Pictures shown are a bit deceiving (different family rooms?). In any case, over $350 USD for this room is overpriced. Each level had A/C that is in a working condition (lower level was colder than the upper level). Beds were nice but that's about the only positive thing about the room.

We had a one night stopover at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was a reasonable size, clean and had a comfy bed, TV and kettle with tea and coffee. The shower was super hot and spacious but the bathroom was a little cold - no radiator or towel rail. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and offered us the opportunity to check in early. The hotel was also lovely and quiet for a good night's sleep, would definitely stay again. It's also a 5 minute walk from Paddington station so very convenient with some lovely places nearby for breakfast.

Clean enough, but I a paid for a room with two beds. Specifically NOT a sofa bed, but we got a sofa bed. Staff acted as if that was my problem. Unapologetic and condescending.
Clean enough, but I a paid for a room with two beds. Specifically NOT a sofa bed, but we got a sofa bed. Staff acted as if that was my problem. Unapologetic and condescending.

I chose this hotel for the stellar locaton and ease of getting around. The room is acceptable although the bed and pillows are too firm especially after a long day. The bathroom is small. If you have long legs or are full figured good luck with the toilet because you'll have to sit sideways. I had my DND sign on and came back to the room with a maintenance man standing in my bathroom. He said he was done fixing the shower, but i never reported any issues eith my room. When I went to the front desk they were very apologetic but they gave multiple excuses: he didnt speak English, he was fixing a light (the light was fine), he was fixing the shower rod (it was fine) and then they said he had left the door open so i would know someone was in there (the door was closed). Also this man had no tools with him.

The hotel was very nice, we wanted to stay at something smaller for the experience-the room was very small but worked, the cold air did come in the room but we put towels and coats to block-the heater worked great. The train station was about 1 block which was great for us and we easily caught a taxi to go look around

We enjoyed our stay at Edward Hotel Paddington, close to, train station, buses and walking distance to a variety of eateries. Room was a reasonable size for 3 Adults, can only judge on the room we stayed in, is was a bit tired, but clean and beds comfortable. Would recommend this property.

It’s not fancy but it’s clean, feels safe, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and it’s in a fantastic location right down the street from Paddington rail and tube stations. This hotel is excellent value for money, one of the best I’ve stayed in for the budget. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room, while small, had everything needed. It’s also very convenient for Paddington, I would definitely stay here again

I loved the quaint hotel property, just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park in Paddington neighborhood of London! Staff was accommodating, as we arrived around 9:00am they gave us the first room that was clean so that we could get sorted and settled after our overnight flight! I recommend a stay there!

Super friendly receptionists. Easy access, walking distance from paddington. Room was clean and everything worked fine, hot water pressure, Aircon, etc. Walls a bit thin and possible to hear neighbors closing their doors but I could still have a good sleep. A bit in the upper price range for the value but I guess you are paying for the location and convenient distance to train station. Lots of restaurants, ATM, souvenir shops on the same street and plenty more within walking distance.

Location can’t be beat. It looks from some reviews that some of the rooms are very tiny, but we had a lower level room and it was plenty spacious. Hooks and toilet paper holder in the bathroom would be appreciated. Not a luxury property, but definitely OK for a couple nights.

Fantastic stay with my children for a concert at Hyde Park. Great food options just steps from the Hotel’s entrance. Both Paddington and Lancaster Gate train stations within minutes walking distance. Interactions with staff very friendly, helpful, welcoming. Clean, tidy, comfortable room and beds- air conditioning was bliss!!! All round great stay- thank you!

Very nice location, close to everything and Paddington station - so much to see / do around. Staff was very helpful, place was clean. Room was a little hot (no ac or didn't work well) but it was perfectly fine. We enjoyed our stay. 2 rooms connected - four of us total - family with 2 kids (18 & 17)
